DIS Dads DDC XVII - Leap year edition

I posted this shot on Leap Day in that Special Edition Thread. Barry or someone suggested it should be posted here too, but I don't think I ever got around to that. I took this one last December.

Had a nice chat with the duck this evening. Here we were at lunch one time last year.

Here I am with my boys - both Life Scouts now, and both taller. One is even taller than me now. This shot was a couple of years ago.

Kinda stepped in a big pile of **** today, my wife and her friend took the kids for a bike ride when they saw a couple blocks away people were moving out and they had a sign Free swing set, well anyway I get a call to get over there to check it out, It was almost like new, it is metal but the rust proof one with a fort, of course I want it, they told me it had to be out of there by tonight, I rounded up a few of my buddies, and within 15 minutes of talking to the people we were taking it out of there yard, we were getting looks from people since we took it in one piece and it 15ft long with the fort & slide

It was even funnier to see us carrying a shed down the street since my friend wanted it, and they were giving it away

when we moved in where we are now my wifes cousin gave us one too and we put it on dollys to wheel it 5 blocks to our house it was the same thing people looking at us and the pointing fingers hell it was free i did not care what anyone thought

This is one of my favorite things at many of the resorts. I love to just sit back and rock for a while.

Oh - yeah that - no I wasn't going to bed - I was putting my DD to put. Reading to her.

It's our custom. I've been reading to her most every night of her life (when I'm not on a trip). We're currently on the last book of the "Little House on the Prairie" series. 1-3 chapters each night.

For all of the time and effort they are putting in to New Fantasyland, and all that they did for the updated queue area at the HM - I sure wish they would fix this terrible piece of BAD SHOW.

A little bit of character paint and some very strategically placed trees or plantings and that awful green show-building would properly disappear. Ugh. This really bugs me.

This is one of my favorite signs in the whole world. This one is from DL, but the ones at WDW I love too.

Wow, I never noticed that before...especially when you think of the way they've done a better job in hiding show buildings like the Mexico Pavillion for example

I don't have the right sized dining room for it - which my DW is happy about - but I would love to have a fixture just like this one in my home someday...

Exactly.

They are so much better than this.

It's very poor show.

I have green shutters on my house.

Kind of like these.

Someday... I'd like to build a house that resembles this one.

Now THAT would be really cool.

DW isn't so sure about that - but I would love it.

I keep telling her - she's always wanted a big front porch, and wrap around porches and decks - this design would give her that!

Of course the interior would have to have some terrific woodwork, and lighting fixtures to complete the design.
