yes. They had refurb 1s and 2s.
.

And don't forget you can buy applecare for $99 on the refurbs also which provides a 2 year warranty if you're rough on them

I would STRONGLY suggest getting a case for it. Check Amazon for some very reasonably priced ones and longer cords.

Welcome to the club!

1 week into my quest to be 40 lbs lighter by our upcoming trip... i am down 2.5 lbs from 240 to 237.5.

I didn't do much to achieve that. Haven't exercised yet. No Pepsi (or any other soft drinks) in the past week. Cut back on junk food severely as well (though not completely :rolleyes1)

gonna see if i can do something else to help things along this week as I shoot to lose another 2-3lbs.
Nice job! :thumbsup2 The first week or so and 10% of your body weight is the easiest. Then your body wants to fight your efforts to keep going. Keep up the good work!

I recommend 2 sites for you to use:
1. http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml when you decide to start running. I have been on this program for 7 full weeks, getting ready to start week 8, and have lost about 12 lbs so far.
2. http://myfitnesspal.com
Lets you keep track of calories in and out, as well as updates your calorie limits when you lose enough weight. Good site, has about 1.5 Million food entries in the dbase.

The only project I would look forward to would be building an underground bunker, secret hiding place. Hope you get thru this am.

You don't know the half of it, they will be here for 5 weeks.

Won't be too hard though, I'm rationing my vacation days so I'll only be taking either Fridays or Mondays off while they are here. Her mom had her knees scoped just before Christmas after waiting 9 years (How great is "free" healthcare!) so they have never been able to come visit us since we moved here 10 years ago. So they want plenty of "rest days".

Also, since they are flying here, that means I do not have to fly us to Malta this summer, which would have been about $6000 in plane tickets, meaning no Disney this year or next.

Morning Gentleman!

ITs finally Friday, looking forward to some slow time to work on stuff around the house.

What's your plans for the weekend?

A reminder I still need to get herbicide on my asparagus plots. Forsythia are blooming so the asparagus will be up soon.

Hey guys! Anyone who is confident about making it to the DIS Dads convention in Jan 2013 and would like to be put on the list on page one, please PM me. Exact dates are not necessary at this time. :thumbsup2

On one hand, I just want to relax a bit. On the other, there is the garage which is a total mess, and the christmas decorations still in my backyard waiting to be put back in the garage.

We got our AP's this week and took advantaged of the free dining and booked a trip in Sept. We are surprising our grandkids with the trip, it will be right between their birthdays.
Hoping to meet up with Dave, he's trip overlaps ours.

Don, I sent you a PM.

:thumbsup2

Cool. Thanks for the links.

took the car to get it washed this morning. This was a spur of the moment thing, brought on when DD pointed out something was on her window as I was about to drive her to school... turns out it was on my window too. The whole driver's side of the car was covered with something sticky and orange. I thought maybe it was an actual orange at first, but then i found the empty packages on the ground. McDonald's spicy buffalo sauce.

I really don't think I've done anything to anyone in this neighborhood to warrant this attention. Must be the unfortunate side-effect of living on a corner??? or being so close to the high school?? :confused3

Most likely the unwanted attention of teenage kids "having fun". :headache: At least now you can say you drive a spicy car :lmao::lmao:

Just got back to work today after being in Washington DC for 3 days. A very interesting trip, and I might do a mini-TR feature about it n my TR.

Anyway, I know I'm behind, and I'm not even going to try to catch up. If I missed anything important, please let me know! :lmao:

I haven't seen any discussions about this subject so I thought I'd bring it up. Have you heard of the rumored "xPASS" system? Do you think you would take advantage of it (if it actually gets off the ground)?

So how exactly is Disney World's new xPASS system supposed to work?

yeah I heard about xPASS and its something we would use. It will probably be better for us to not have it though. We plan our vacations out a little to detailed as it is.

I also heard reports that the new fast pass enforcement is going horrible. The FP line for space mountain is currently past TTA today.:scared1:

Kind of a bummer of a day for me to see Bruce Weber let go from my Illini. He is a good man who just seemed to be a bit overmatched for the position. I wish him the best. I am a diehard Illini fan and this marks the first time in my life that they have had to fire the head BB coach.

The biPap machine is still a work in process to get used to. It has this alarm on it that goes off when I stop breathing for too long. I have yet to make it more than an hour. I'll keep trying though because I really want it to work.

I am looking forward to ordering my new iPad today, though. And it's Friday!
