Been sick the last few days, almost time to take my LALA medicine:lmao:

Did manage to take my son to see Star Wars:thumbsup2 To him this was Epic:goodvibes

I have to hit Hallmark on the way home.
What, Hallmark doesn't deliver to you?

I too, dislike this peanut butterin' holiday!.

Valentine's Day is tomorrow. What Peanut Butter came up with a "holiday" in the middle of the month before payday. :headache::.

Dozen roses from Walmart for $15.00. C'mon man! This ain't that hard.

Good news is that my Deposit from the IRS hit the bank today. :woohoo:.

My $37 Fed returned cleared Saturday. Paid for them flowers.

Just had this conversation at dinner last night:

Me: What would you like for Valentine's Day, honey
DW: Nothing.
Me: Great! 'Cause that's just what I got you!.

Brilliant. :lmao::rotfl::lmao::rotfl::lmao:

Nate, I made my wifes gift. I wrote down 31 things (for each day of a long month) of what I love about her. It was a huge hit. I cut them into strips, folded them, and put them in a small gift box. Its the gift that keeps on giving :thumbsup2

After 21, how did you keep counting so high? Oh, that's just an awful joke. Just don't go putting anything like that on Facebook. Did that include any repeats?

I'm glad I found this group. Reading this thread has been a nice break in between study sessions on muscle origins/insertions and nerve innervation. :thumbsup2

Not quite sure what that means. You'll need to dumb that down for some of us to understand. Tell us a little about yourself? Disney trips?

sorry. I joined a few days ago I'm officially # 680. I'm currently studying to be an occupational therapist, inspired by my daughter with down syndrome. We will be heading to disney world jan 2013 to celebrate my graduation. We went on a sea world/disney trip last july. over the 4th to be exact and man was it crowded. Had a great time though.

Sadly, we never have a lot of time for games anymore. Haven't turned them on in over a week. DW is excited though, Mario Party 9 comes out for the Wii next month, she loves that series, so I know the Wii will get some love soon...

I downloaded the Super Mario Brothers onto the Wii. My dds love playing that as well, but they are confused as the graphics on their Nintendo 3DS are better than that version on the Wii.

Is it Friday yet??? :confused3

I only wish. I am taking some vacation days next week. Boss doesn't know yet.

Tempting but if I jumped in you would be guaranteed not to win and I don't want to do that to you gentlemen. If you win I expect bacon or dole whips as thanks for not jinxing you.:

Well, I'm in and have no luck at all. Maybe both are bad luck will give us good luck?

What ever happened to that "war on poverty" in Appalachia that started just before I was born. Did we win it? :sad2: :headache:

It's the same place as that war on drugs.

As to having a Pontiac Aztek in the stable, i think that would be compensating for a lack of taste in things automotive. Yikes.

Ouch. Actually, the Aztek was the same reason as the other high mileage vehicles. DW liked the vehicle, but since were the last 2 on the lot (and not selling well), I was able to get a decent price.

Sorry, I didn't recognize your name. Actually, I knew what you were talking about. But, the duck, my nemesis, was probably lost. I do some PRN work at a home health agency and know those PT and OT well. Good luck - only one more year - and a great way to celebrate.

I've been sitting back and reading posts so far. It was overwhelming to keep up with at first. Most conversations I was lost in but I'm picking it up now.

He was one of the original owners - I am not sure if he still has a part of it.

I thought you knew Canadians knew everything about each other. What, there are only about 50 of ya?

Or a Dole Whip. :

Always room for a Dole Whip, even after a Dole Whip.

‘Morning all…

My but what a pile of posts we’ve built up in past day or so. Was there anything else back there that I should really hunt down?

Just our usual brilliance.

And I like to give crap,

That would not be a good Valentine's Day gift.

Biscuits n gravy. Add a side of stuffed french toast from CRT and a Dole Whip, then it sounds like breakfast is ready.

"I love it when a plan comes together!"

Curse you Randall.

No worries. Most don't even try to keep up with the conversations. We'll see how many disagree with me by replying to this. (there won't be many)

Dang what a fast moving thread. Miss a week, miss 100 pages.

So, welcome to all of the new dads. Hope that you enjoy this place as much as I do, although I've been so dang busy at work checking in regularly has been rather rough. A couple of weeks ago was my son's birthday and I mentioned a rumored gift; well, the rumors were true. His grandmother (my mother) got him:

3,803 pieces, built it in a week. Really cool stuff. I'll attach some pictures of his final product when I manage to download the pictures.

They're calling for a slushy mix of snow, sleet, rain tonight and tomorrow morning. The way things go here with snow, this event could cause us to be out of school for a couple of days :lmao:

Seriously though, this thread does move pretty quickly with a ton of conversations at once, but feel free to jump in with any questions/comments/etc... Main DisDad board is good to start a new thread and post a question if you want it to stay on topic, too.
