Off to church in a few so I thought I would see if things were moving quicker. Rainy day over here as well. The ways things are looking budget wise I thought this by Longfellow was an appropriate reminder
"The Rainy Day"
The day is cold, and dark, and dreary;
It rains, and the wind is never weary;
The vine still clings to the moldering wall,
But at every gust the dead leaves fall,
And the day is dark and dreary.
My life is cold, and dark, and dreary;
It rains, and the wind is never weary;
My thoughts still cling to the moldering Past,
But the hopes of youth fall thick in the blast
And the days are dark and dreary.
Be still, sad heart! and cease repining;
Behind the clouds is the sun still shining;
Thy fate is the common fate of all,
Into each life some rain must fall,
Some days must be dark and dreary.

Happy Super Bowl Sunday all...
After this weekend how do I justify sitting on the couch for 3 hours?
I think there are enough other guys taking care of that. Just go enjoy the sports day and any accompanying libations. Have a great day! There's really nothing to see here.![]()

My daughter asked me "Do you have to eat chicken wings when you watch the Superbowl?"
Yes sweetie... it is the Superbowl Law.
I am thinking of heading to Sandusky for Scott's open invitation to DISDad's for a superbowl party.
It's about a 6 hour drive, so with no traffic or obstacles, I should make it by kick off.
Being my nemesis though, I'm a little concerned that I will get there, and he will say Just Kidding...

I'm impressed that you bothered to estimate the time it would take to come over! Maybe you really do care about me???
Nah...
You probably looked it up to find out how long it would be to get here to TP my house or leave me a flaming bag of dog do do or something. (Yes, I said do do).
As long as you bring a dish to share you're welcome to come. And when I say dish, I mean a dish with something edible in it. And no weird Canadian food.![]()
