Hi my name is Travis recently turned 32. married with a 3 year old daughter who happens to have an extra 21st chromosome. finally got back to disney world after a 24 year absence back in July. We will be making a trip back to Disney in January 2013(27th- Feb 1). to celebrate my Occupational Therapy degree completion. A little break before I begin working toward my masters. We are so excited about our trip that the vacation planning CD is played at least once daily. As proof of my love of Disney world I will share a moment from our last trip that no one else knows about. We arrived to the magic kingdom on our first day and happened to walk in as the parade was about to begin. We lucked up and got a spot right up front on the center island near the entrance (where the flagpole is). It was truly a magical experience as almost every character walked right up to us and gave my wife and daughter hugs. At the end of the parade my wife looked up me wiping her tears away. I just smiled and was happy I had on my sunglasses and she couldn't see I was barely holding them back myself.:cool1: It was really meaningful to have such a great time as a family. The last 3 years were pretty hectic after my daughter's birth and finding out she had down syndrome. We enjoyed every step but the disney magic was just what we needed. Looking forward to getting a lot of tips from the board for our next trip.

:welcome: Travis...

yeah friend of mine who grew up in orlando says the same thing. He says the last 5 exits are the the worst.

Having fun with you. The picture formatting takes more effort to read.

Well, let's see... Randall doesn't seem to have a problem with it, so perhaps I need to do more of it, so that he can overtake your lead.... :rolleyes1 :sail:

hehehehe

BRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIAN!!!!

Daaaaaaavvvve....

I see you hit a milestone.

I am right in your tailwind, and that ain't maple syrup I smell... :lmao:

I'm keep Norm happy for a little bit longer... I need to go through and actually upload new ones to Photobucket first. I have about 2,000 on there... but about 20,000 or more that I haven't uploaded yet.

Ready for that one Norm? :rotfl:

I like the pics. I also liked being surprised. So, I avoided as many pics of BLT and WL before we stayed there, which added that extra WOW when you first walk in. But, we probably will not make it to DL, or if we do, will be very far in the future with a combo Aulani trip. I'll never make it to Disney Paris, so I enjoy those pics.

OK you can take the traffic, high taxes and all the other fun stuff that comes with NJ:scared1:

i forgot you were in NJ. I'll pass. It's Florida or here for me.

YES IS IT!!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 all true, every word! :thumbsup2

Well we're living here in Allentown
And they're closing all the factories down
Out in Bethlehem they're killing time
Filling out forms
Standing in line.

Well our fathers fought the Second World War
Spent their weekends on the Jersey Shore
Met our mothers at the USO
Asked them to dance
Danced with them slow
And we're living here in Allentown.

But the restlessness was handed down
And it's getting very hard to staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
aaaaaaah aaahhhhh ooooooooh ooooooh ohhhhhhh.

Well we're waiting here in Allentown
For the Pennsylvania we never found
For the promises our teachers gave
If we worked hard
If we behaved.

So the graduations hang on the wall
But they never really helped us at all
No they never taught us what was real
Iron or coke,
Chromium steel.

And we're waiting here in Allentown.
But they've taken all the coal from the ground
And the union people crawled awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah aaaaaaaaaaah aaaaaah.

Every child had a pretty good shot
To get at least as far as their old man got.
If something happened on the way to that place
They threw an American flag in our face, oh oh oh.

Well I'm living here in Allentown
And it's hard to keep a good man down.
But I won't be getting up todaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy
aaaaaaaaaaah aaaaaaaaaaah aaaaaaaaah.

GUITAR SOLO

aaaaaaah aaaaaaah aaaaaaah oh oh oh.

And it's getting very hard to staaaaaaaaaaaaaay.
And we're living here in Allentown.
