Well I am trying to survive this week so that I can drag myself onto the Disney Fantasy for a week!! This past weekend I was on call and ended up with 33 hours of OT on Saturday and Sunday...I am on call again Tuesday and Wednesday Uuughh!

But you're almost there! Baby steps to the weekend...

DW went to the grocery store, the day after we got back from WDW.
She said, "And the grocery trip, that will last us 2 weeks, cost the same as Chef Mickey's. Just putting things in perspective."

And yet, you hate paying the first bill a lot more.

They won with Simon Gagne, Mike Richards, Jeff Carter...those guys look like great players. I hope the Flyers try and acquire them in the off-season.

UPS stopped by with the camera and underwater housing. YEA. But I wasn't here so they just left a note on the door. BOOO. The note says they will deliver it Monday after 5:00. Huh? They are going to bend time and deliver it tomorrow which will again be Monday? Get ready guys another Monday coming.

Sounds like somebody has a case of the Mondays.

All this talk about golf makes me want to get my sticks out. Haven't played in a while. Guaranteed every time I take out the 1 wood it will travel 250 yards. 200 straight and 50 to the left. Sometimes it even starts coming back to the tee. Maybe I should keep the clubs in the attic instead.

I still haven't played this year. These kids are really cramping my style.

Well that just sucks! With the crowd levels for that weekend (yes, I realize it's marathon weekend, but I still don't think it's "crowded") you would think there would be something in the area we were looking for! Oh well.

Really wanted to stay at epcot resort or wilderness.Want to be able to have a room for us to meet up and share a drink or two and get to chat a bit.Being at SSSR or OKW just makes it a little bit harder for someone to come visit.

The Epcot resorts are going to fill up the fastest on Marathon weekend. Sucks they they're all gone at 7 months, but I can't say I'm surprised.

Sitting here watching the countdown clock (12 days if anyone is interested). Hopefully I will be around when UPS delivers the new camera and housing. The kid that dared ask my little girl to the prom leaves today for Air Force Basic Training. May take the Princess out to dinner tonight.

Andy - I'm right there with you on the whole frustrated with golf thing.

Last week I shoot a 40 on the back nine of the course that I play in my Monday night league. That's the best I've ever shot on that nine!

This week, we play the front (the easier of the 2 nine's) that I typically shoot low 40's.

I shot a friggin' 50!

Needless to say I'm glad I'm on vacation next week and not playing on Monday - I need a break!

Yeah... that makes me feel a lot better. I was happy with a 53 on 9 this weekend.

We had a 50, 53, 54 and 55 in the group I played with. I'll take that. It beats a 60.

That's what all those houses with roofs are for on the right side of every golf course on the planet

Just make sure to hit the walls, roof, fence, but avoid the windows... they're not nearly as beneficial

I have a rule when houses come into play. They can keep the ball.

I just noticed... this is post # 1000 for me! So it's official, I spend way too much time on the Dis

What I don't understand are all the nice homes along the golf courses with swing sets, sand boxes and pools. There's no way I would let my kids play outside when I know people like me golf there.

Got an email from Southwest this morning about their Fall Fare Sale. I was able to rebook us onto the same flights I already had booked on and now have a $92 credit to use in January.

I hardly ever get to play. This was my second time out this year, so I really can't complain. I didn't have any holes where I just totally melted down, picked up my ball and wrote down a 10.

What I don't understand are all the nice homes along the golf courses with swing sets, sand boxes and pools. There's no way I would let my kids play outside when I know people like me golf there.

I also don't understand the people who live in those homes and have a 3 or 4 car garage, yet they leave the Corvette/Lexus/Caddy/BMW/Mercedes sitting in the driveway.

Anyone got a good fart-joke (or a bad one for that matter), or maybe a story about chasing off you daughters latest suitor? Maybe even a good insult or two (I make a rather good target). I could use a few laughs. That’s why I headed over here in the first place.

So far… good choice.

Ever considered carving a couple of random “fairways” into one of your fields? While you’re out working the land, you could just stop for a few minutes and take a couple of practice swings.

No, but I'll hit some balls out into the field by the house every once in a while. They'll turn up again eventually so I can pick them up and do it again.

And the balls that I hit into my field are typically balls that I find in other fields that the neighbors hit out there and never retrieved. If I'm out disking or running a cutivator, there are a couple of fields with a line of houses along them that I can easily fill a 5 gallon bucket in.

American bloke says: "What you doin?"

The 2 men carry on golfing, but all of a sudden the American man makes a funny sound, that amazingly sounds like a fart. The Japanese man looks over at him. 'Oh,' says the American. "Don't worry, I'm just receiving a fax."
