I have ordered with them before. my wife and I did the segway tour at FT Wilderness and visited their general store.. They had BACON.. real live (well not really live) Bacon! and eggs! I was hoping!

somebody posted on my other thread that they were staying at BLT and they a million DVC points! wouldnt that be like millions in dues?? maybe they were being facetious!

You really don't want to use DVC points to pay for a DCL cruise. The exchange rate is awful. You'd do better renting out the same number of points that DVC wants to charge you for the DCL cruise, paying cash for the cruise, and having money left over for excursions, etc.

Just a follow-up to say that renting points at a low rate to fellow DisDads is the best option if you choose to do this.

I've been revising the ADR plan for October trip.

Sat - AK - Tusker House Breakfast
Sun - DHS - Brown Derby
Mon - CRT breakfast; CP dinner
Tues - Columbia Harbour House QS
Wed - ESPN or maybe Shula's
Thurs - Akershus Breakfast
Fri - EOS QS and Ghirardelli dessert

I just don't think I want to go to 50 Prime Time Cafe for fried chicken. We do have local KFC. I like ESPN and have not tried Shula's, but can't do both. Dinner at Epcot changes daily. Will keep you posted.

ESPN is ok, but if there is any sort of sporting event happening, including Division III Women's Lacrosse, there tends to be quite a line.

For Epcot, Via Napoli is good if you like pizza, Teppan Edo can be a lot of fun, Chefs de France gives you some quality meals, and Restaurant Marrakesh has belly dancing. And, both of the restaurants in Mexico are good.

Seriously, has anyone stayed at BLT? If so post some pics., does that grocery store have more stuff than the poly? (Maybe a store with stuff like FT Wilderness?) or is it just basic candy and milk?

BLT is very convenient to MK, but I was a little underwhelmed. We paid for an MKV room, but the only place from which you could see the Castle was out on the far left side of the balcony. Also, you are close enough to the park that the fireworks set off the car alarms in the parking lot, which can be amusing, but also, potentially, annoying.

Does it help that I'm also a Dolphins fan as well?

I have been to Disney 10 times and 4 of those in the past 5 years. I think I spend the time that I am not at Disney either Planning my next trip, or talking about my last one.

Being a dad can wear you out. After a long and eventually productive talk with the principal we have decided to move DS up to 5th grade for the 2nd half of the year. If he does well it will be on to 6th in August or if not he can just redo 5th. After 2 semesters of no homework it is time he gets a bit of challenge . I'd rather he get B's and C's and be challenged and learn something than be an A/B student just by sleeping the day away. This means I will be spending a lot more time with him in the evenings and less time

I do like the option to put kids where they are going to be challenged, even if it means that they may not be at the top of the class. But, most importantly, you're making the commitment to help out. Well done.
