If my MIL was moving in, the plumber would be really well off because I would have paid the round the clock rate to get it installed.

Stupid Story Ownage

One of the things I have to accomplish is fighting with Disney Store online. We are taking my parents with us on this trip. .

Good luck. They should fix it, but don't let it ruin your trip. On one trip, a CM lied to us about Annie's (Little Einstein) appearance at DHS when they had the characters come out of the trailers. I can read the sign, but when we returned, she (or someone else) changed the times on the sign. My oldest dd really wanted to meet Annie and I was ticked not because she missed her, but because she was wrong and lied about it. After ranting and complaining, I finally realized I shouldn't let this ruin my vacation. I've mellowed and try to not let ad much bother me now.

In our adventure with DD, it was the Pediatrician who was right and the ER was wrong. DD just wasn't right.

The other "fun" part of our adventure was that they had trouble inserting an IV line into DD. They tried several times in both arms, and with different techs, in the ER and just couldn't get it. They tried one last time once we were admitted and still no go. So the next morning the staff docs show up to introduce themselves and have a look. One of them pulls out the IV kit and says he is going to try the IV again. DD leaped out of the bed and into DW's lap. Before I even realized what I was doing I was standing and had put myself between the doctor and DD. Now normally I am a VERY passive person, and would just let a doctor dictate how things would go. But I wasn't going to let it happen again. I told him I was sorry but we're not putting DD through any more attempts at an IV. We want the shot of meds like they did last night. The doctor asked if I was sure, explaining this would be a painful shot they'd give her every 12 hours. I didn't hesitate. I told him we'd rather have DD get one shot every 12 hours than deal with the IV problem indefinitely. At least I could look my DD in the eyes and honestly tell her that it's just going to be one shot and it's only going to hurt for a little while. We had to hold her down each time because she was terrified whenever the doctors came in, but at least we knew it would be over relatively quick. .

Scary. I knew something was wrong with youngest dd and called pediatrician and had to argue a little with the gatekeeper nurse that my child really needed to see the doc. They were really busy and wanted to see if child was better after the weekend. It was Friday. But, a parent knows when something is wrong. Turns out she had walking pneumonia. Now, when I call for appt, which is rare, there is never a discussion.

As for IV, when DW was pregnant with youngest dd, she had viral meningitis. The ER tried to get vein for IV and after several painful misses, someone else finally hooked it in the vein on top of her hand near the knuckles.

DW submitted a travel voucher for the entire month of November for $7.42.

I submitted a travel voucher for Nov 28 and Nov 29 for $222.70. Too bad I won't see it before Christmas break.

For some reason Kim wasn't showing up in the list on the DCL site so the CM told her to just do it on a "random" person (you were on top of the list) and they would change it for her. The next one she booked was fine. We're really looking forward to it!

Got a bit cold here last night. Reached the 50's. Today in the 70's and will be back in the 80's later this week. Absolutely beautiful right now.

Didn't get any underwater pics this weekend in the Keys but a few out the water. Conditions really stunk. High winds and waves, lousy visibility. Gear is in the closet until February when a few of us head to Roatan for a week.

Spent a little time at the Tiki Bar
