DDA Chapter 9

Hey Elin
are you thinking of doing a photoshoot? I can not decide which resort to do. I am thinking of the Poly only because I hope to get a picture with the castle in the background

Did you look at that "resort photo shoots" thread? It is on the sub-board of resort photos. I don't think I have seen any with the castle in the background, but maybe I just missed them. :confused3 Some of the backgrounds at the Poly are really nice, though. We're doing SSR because it worked with our schedule, and they have a special deal through 8/15 for DVC members where you get some printed photos included.

yes maam.page 44 or 45 of that thread. they were posted yesterday,

Great!
DH announced tonight that he needs a remote for the camera. I am SOOOOO tired of the neverending cycle of he-needs-this and he-needs-that for the cameras that I am ready to scream. He hasn't taken a SINGLE DECENT PHOTO YET!!!   How much more crap do we need to buy before he can actually start taking pictures?

Tell him instead of the remote to set the built in timer on his camera. It should give him either the time he needs to get in a shot, or it will allow the camera to be steady to take a long exposure shot as your hands can be off the camera by the time the shutter goes off.

I think I heard about somebody in Texas with a chainsaw once...;)
:lmao: :rotfl:

but he can't do those from Texas and I can't ship them to you all!

true
he does the yard work as well. Mowing the yard and weed eating are also on the list. As well as taking our cans off to be recycled.

That was very nice of him! :thumbsup2

What service!

I agree! :)

Amy - I bet you cannot wait for Kevin to come home tonight. ;)

Take care of yourself, please!

I'm trying, thanks. :goodvibes I was really proud of myself this week, because I only let the kids watch one hour of their "shows" each day.

Kevin actually came home a little early, and not only did he take the kids outside to play in the sandbox for a bit, but he bathed them, too! :lovestruc

Some of the carts are sized to where you can fit the carrier across the back (most narrow) edge of the basket, but that could be nerve-wracking - especially if you don't like it across the front, even. I hear you though, if you put it in the basket you can't get any groceries! :rotfl:

And I'm sorry, but I laughed almost out loud that you are on such a close basis with the bagger at Kroger! ;)

I'll probably use my new Boppy sling for a while and move up to the Bjorn when Noah gets bigger. That's actually how I befriended so many Kroger employees, since I always carried Matty in the Bjorn and he attracted lots of smiles and waves. :)

And since you're picking on me, I'll let you know that we also have a buddy at the Springdale Target who spoils the kids with cookies or popcorn almost every time we visit. You'll find out soon enough with your cuties. Welcome to the world of being a stay-at-home-mom who shops too much! :rotfl: (Oh, and none of these friendly guys are "boyfriend material." They're all at least 60-years-old. ;) )

BTW, Friday Free Nights at the Museum Center are crazy-crowded...at least in the Children's Museum. We went once (two summers ago) and declared never again. :snooty:

Becky,
I wouldn't even venture to try the tie dye shirts....:sad2:

Post pictures when you are done.:thumbsup2

If we keep up this banter and sparkling repartee' we will need a new home by tonight's end!

ETA: And our other DDA family members are going to kill is! ::yes::
