Tammi- Welcome Home! Thanks for the review on Wall-E. Think I'll send Eric to that one with the girls. We are going to see the American Girl movie this weekend with all the cousins. Should be a fun day out.

Marci- Hope today you're feeling even better! for Andrew.

Amy- You are one busy gal. Are you sure you are due any day now? Where does your energy come from?!? I hope you manage to get some down time in there.

Elin- I love all the pictures from your trip! I hate cabs for that very reason! I had a harrowing ride in Chicago when I was 7 months pregnant with Emma. I didn't think either one of us would survive.

Becky- Sorry you didn't get to the camp. I hope you can figure out you CA plans.

Anne Marie- I am glad the kids are having fun with their cousins.

I don't know why, but I just couldn't sleep well. I think this prednisone that I am still on (today is my last day) has really been messing me up.

Hi, everyone! The pictures are just adorable! I've had a great time browsing thru them all.

Survived VBS (despite BK and Davis having migraines/vomiting for a 2 days). Drove the kids to the grandparents this weekend and now DH and I are home by ourselves! Run the 10K Peachtree Rd Race Friday and have surgery on Tuesday. Today I'm studying for my nursing medication test that I need to take to go back to work.

Is anyone doing anything exciting this weekend? (Well, besides you Amy! We know what you'll be doing! Did you pack your bag yet?)
ETA: Bob and I are going to go see Wall-e and the Incredible Hulk at the drive in on the 4th.

Not much here. We're doing fireworks and a small party at my sister's house on Thursday. Friday will probably be some local fireworks and maybe Wall-E at the $4 show. Otherwise, nothing else is on tap for the weekend.

I am really wishing I was going to be in California longer as there is so much I want to do out there. Then again I am happy that I have 2 days in CA before I board the ship. Instead of arriving the day or day before. We arrive late Thursday night, actually it might be early Friday morning till we get to our hotel. Sunday we head to the ship early. So we have Friday and Saturday to do things.

We are still trying to decide if we want to do one or two days in the parks. Personally I would love to do the 2, but not all are convinced. They are afraid that arriving in CA at midnight CA time is going to be too much to get up and go to a park on Friday morning. Hello sleep the first at sea day on the ship.

Disneyland is open 8am to Midnight, I want to be there a lot of that time. We could get the hopper for 1 day but for about $20 more we can get a second day.

For those who have been to Disneyland, do you recommend two days, one at Disneyland and the other at DCA?

That's a tough one. DCA isn't a full-day park for me. Though if you're doing all of the shows and the big rides it could be. I'd be more inclined to hop over for a few highlights, but between a 1-day PH and 2-day non-PH I'd go with the 2.

Bob and I just had the cabride from h e l l! We finished dinner with the girls and decided we wanted to skip the "T" and take a cab. I don't think this guys knows what a speed limit or lane lines are!

No. They don't. None of them. Okay maybe a few, but most don't. That would be why we mainly used cabs only for the airport so that Terra already had her carseat.

So just the one day hopper or two day hopper? It will be a Friday and Saturday or just one or the other.

If it's a hopper for both, I'd still go with 2-day. Then you have a little more flexibility and can take it a little easier.

Good morning DDA! At least I caught up today, but still gotta run. Trying to think of something fun to do today, but can't decide if I want something inside or out. Weather is kind of warm today, but I know future weeks will be even worse.

Andrew's team played two games last night and won them both, so the games in this tournament are over. It turns out, there were only three teams, and since we beat the other two our games are over. The other two teams play tonight for second place and to get to advance with us to the next division which is Sectionals. It starts on July 10th.

We didn't make it in until after 1 a.m., and I was back here at 6:45 this morning. I'm thrilled that we have no more games this week. Andrew still didn't get to play much -- a couple of innings of each game. I'm at a loss as to how to get his confidence up. He did fine in the field but struck out both times he batted.

Elin -- your pictures were gorgeous! It sounds like you are having a fabulous trip.

Tammi -- glad to see you're home. Any big plans for this week? Enjoy your time off!

The confidence thing is hard. DS did that little 4 day baseball camp, and he was always in a snit about not hitting well or not fielding well or whatever. To add to it, the coaches gave an "outstanding camper" award to a boy who DS said kept making fun of the other boys, calling them "stupid" and generally being an a$$. Obviously this kid is very good at not getting caught, because he had the coaches convinced that he is a model player. I guarantee DS had some attitude issues, so I am not saying he deserved the award, but he was very irritated that a kid who was being very mean was recognized for being this wonderful camper.

Well I just went to the Board of Education for the one job that I interviewed at. I went in to get Sub papers and while i was there, i asked about the prospects for september-----i did not get the job. The woman said that i did very well on y interview and there just werent enough positions..So im kinda bummed...Just wanted to let you guys know

So far I've got 2 loads of laundry going, mowed and weed-sprayed the front lawn, and went through a bunch of cookbooks trying to plan some meals. Now I think I'll hop in the shower. I still have a kitchen floor that needs a good mopping.
