So we never went to camp today, as the person we were supposed to surprise was not going to be there. One of these days I will have to make it to that camp.
Tomorrow I am at the local folk festival for a recruitment event. Then I have a training at night. I have all my plans of work to finish, but I know most of my co-workers have yet to finish them so I am not stressing about them.

No. You are only supposed to feel guilt if you leave your CHILDREN to go to Disney. Spouse guilt is optional.

Besides working, we will probably go over to bil's to cookout & watch fireworks.

ETA: Bob and I are going to go see Wall-e and the Incredible Hulk at the drive in on the 4th.

It was okay....had just enough family time without anyone loosing their cool.
It was warm and muggy up there, and my parents prefer to have the windows open with a breeze and humidity other than conditioned air, so I was always sticky. The kids had fun, so that is what matters. We went to see Wall-E and my mom, Alyssa and I did not care for it. Nicholas and Bob enjoyed it though. It doesn't sound like I've missed much, other than the boards being a mess.

I am really wishing I was going to be in California longer as there is so much I want to do out there. Then again I am happy that I have 2 days in CA before I board the ship. Instead of arriving the day or day before. We arrive late Thursday night, actually it might be early Friday morning till we get to our hotel. Sunday we head to the ship early. So we have Friday and Saturday to do things.
We are still trying to decide if we want to do one or two days in the parks. Personally I would love to do the 2, but not all are convinced. They are afraid that arriving in CA at midnight CA time is going to be too much to get up and go to a park on Friday morning. Hello sleep the first at sea day on the ship.
Disneyland is open 8am to Midnight, I want to be there a lot of that time. We could get the hopper for 1 day but for about $20 more we can get a second day.
For those who have been to Disneyland, do you recommend two days, one at Disneyland and the other at DCA?
