Would it be possible to sub for any of the districts you are interested in. My DD worked as an assistant just to get her foot in the door and it definitely paid off, it is always good to let them get to know you.

I'm heading to bed. I'm tired now. Lots to do tomorrow.

If i dont get anything, that is going to be the plan for September. When i get back from my trip, I am going to focus on getting subbing papers ready for a couple of the closest districts..i figured if i put my papers in in a couple of places, ill have a better chance

Ad on that note, i think i am going to head to bed. I have work tomorrow and then I think I am going to my best friend's baseball game. This week has been crazy busy already! I am definitely looking forward to the weekend--no big plans at all! Ill start getting ready for the trip!!

Have a great night--thanks for chatting--i do feel a bit better, you guys are always there :goodvibes:

Congrats on the good news about the house Theresa, I hope that everything else works out as well.

Welcome back Glynis, look forward to hearing about your trip!

Good morning, everyone! I'm baaaaack!!! Thanks for worrying about me (again!), and thanks, Vicki, for calling to check up on me!

I know I keep saying this, but I'm sorry I've missed replying to so many posts lately. I wish the best for everyone, I just get caught up in RL way too much.

So after the wake I came home and was cleaning the kitchen, and I through in a load of laundry. Well I ended up bailing water and plunging for almost two hours. Looks like I'll be calling the plumber tomorrow.

Why do these things always happen at the worst times? I mean you don't ever want it to happen but you really didn't need the extra stress tonight.

I guess I should try and get to sleep, I have to get up at 4:00 am.

Thanks for always being there, I'm so glad I was looking for t shirt designs one day.

yikes!!

I thought we'd have to call on our a/c but turns out there was just a loose fuse...thank goodness.

We will always be here Debbie....come back to us whenever you can.

We have some hospital pictures online, finally! I guess they've been up a couple of days, but I never got the email I was supposed to :confused3

Kyle and I were actually going to completely bypass the hospital photo shoot, because I just feel like we get infinitely better shots ourselves than I tend to see from the hospital photographer, in this day of digital cameras and hundreds of the same shots all day :rolleyes1

I'm glad we didn't, though! The Christ Hospital outsources their photography service, and I'm so impressed with the job the photographer did! We didn't even bring in a real outfit or anything because we weren't really interested, so I'm glad we had a pair of onesies (decorated by my sister) that looked pretty cute with the blanket used as a background.

Here's the site, and if they ask for a password it's kjea2008.

They are darling, Jennifer! So wide awake, too! None of my kids hospital pictures look that good!

Congratulations Katie! You have every right to be proud Anne Marie ::yes::

Today is Katie's graduation.

She was given the President's Award for Exellence keeping an A average for 4th, 5th, & 6th grade.

You know, I'm not stressed about the plumbing. It's a very small thing in the big picture, I'd much rather be me with plumbing problems than Margie's family right now. She has three sons, I can't even imagine how they feel.

Sorry I've been mia for so long. Real life gets in the way sometimes...:bitelip:

One of the things that tripped me up was my car. I had to trade in Ms. Blueberry.

So I'm now the proud owner of a salsa red special edition Wolfsburg. :cheer2: I call her Wolfie.

Little story. We were on the way to my dear niece's graduation party and I asked my DD to find a station. One word of caution. Satelite radio is uncensored. She turned to hip-hop and got the NON-radio version of some rap song! :faint: I quickly pressed the preset for radio Disney and we experimented no more...:rotfl2: :rotfl:

Did anyone hear about Nickleodeon building a huge cruise ship? I suppose I could google it.:duck: :duck:

Off to bed.. Nitey, nite DDA.:cloud9: :hippie:

Wow! What is a euphonium, never heard of that.

Theresa has probably already answered this, but a euphonium is like a saxophone. (Have I got that right, Theresa?) Myself, I wouldn't know. I'm strictly a violin gal myself.

I apologize in advance (well, ok, so not so much in advance! :rotfl: ) for all of the pictures. Please don't feel like you have to comment on (or even look at) all of them!

Karen, I hope things start to resolve for you soon!

Don't ever apologize for pictures! Your girls are darling, and we are a proud family that wants to celebrate with you!

It's a little tuba....that's the best way to describe it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euphonium

ETA: Euphonium, baritone and sousaphone are in the same class of well...little tubas. Jim's degree is in Music-Performance and his specialty is the low brass instruments. Abi has the baritone and will probably move over to the tuba at some point.

That's it! The baritone! I knew it was like some instrument my hubby used to play! Thanks for enlightening me!
