Elizabeth, glad that your mom is home and that you get to go home.

Jennifer cute, and I like how the blanket and their onesies match.

I've got a cold...I thought about you when a friend and I were discussing the fact that she has to sell her brand new guitar...it would cost too much to ship it to you:rotfl: She also has to sell her harp but you haven't expressed a desire to learn that one. :goodvibes

How are you doing??

I would love to learn the harp to. But have no where to put one. I do not even know of a place around here that offers harp lessons. I had to take autoharp lessons in college. But that is not the same.;)

I actually have a guitar. I may not have posted that, but I have had one for a few weeks. I have been trying to teach myself but I know I would be doing better if I was taking lessons from someone. I do need to get another tuner, as they one I have I think is not accurate and in tune. I did try replacing batteries but it still seems off to my ears. Perhaps it is my ears.

Bernadette hope the kids feel better soon. :wizard:

Jennifer, you have some great shots of you and the babies. They look so teeny, tiny when Kyle is holding them. :goodvibes:

They are tiny! I'm glad you noticed that :rotfl: I have people argue with me, telling me they "can't be" 5 pounds when they look so big in the pictures. I agree that they do look big for whatever reason in any of them without other objects/people for comparison, but I assure you that I see them in person and they are legitimate 5 pounders :rotfl:

In the pictures of the days to come, I have some funny shots of them in carseats, etc where they look smaller. We'll see if I ever get those uploaded.

Today was such a nice day, 70º and no humidity, with a light wind. Wish it could be like that every day all year long. However nights would need to be a little warmer its 63º right now, and this maybe our first night without rain.

MIL was here 10am-7pm, so I'm absolutely exhausted mentally. It was not what I would call a fun day by any means, but it wasn't terrible. I hope you all are doing well. I'm off to tuck the babies in and get ready for the next round of 3-hour-blocks :teeth:

Glynis you asked for a recap....let's see how well I do:

As you have seen Jennifer had the 2 pretty girls we can't get enough pictures of. :goodvibes

Noah has been asked by his mommy to stay in utero for another week:lmao: ...Amy has a lot going on this week that she doesn't want to miss (plus she hasn't packed her hospital bag;) ).

A few are back from trips: Vicki, who will not be travelling with her sister anymore, enjoyed her trip. Kristine-had an exhaustive 3 week trip and we all want to be adopted by her.

Marci is on a trip to Chicago and DC.

Elin and the Brooks are getting ready to go on their trips this weekend.

Tammi had last week off and then works 3 days this week and is until July 21st. Nicholas is playing baseball well. They met up with Miss Elin last week for a trolley tour of their fair town.

Karen's dad is having heart surgery and she is a bit stressed as there are a lot of other things going on also.

Elizabeth's mom had her cancer surgery and while succesful it did show evidence of cancer in her lymph glands. Elizabeth spent the weekend there and it's a good thing she did as her mom had some complications.

Becky has been a busy girl (as usual).

Robyn-did an amazing job on a soccer ball and a horse cake. We have all been telling her she'd make a killing doing it. She is running herself ragged and had us giggling thinking about her drinking 9 beers in one sitting...silly girl.

Janet had a boil order for a little while....such a strange concept for most of us.

Denise had her tests and her surgery will go as scheduled and the kiddos had succesful birthday parties this past weekend.

Jen has not heard from the job in a district that she really wanted:worried: (she also hasn't been posting much...Jen come back and chat!!::yes::)

Jennifer has not posted pictures of our 2 favorite redheaded Texans lately but I know she is doing okay as she was my sounding board on Sunday for a good 2 hours.

Tom posted adorable pictures of Leighanna from a trip they took to an amusement park...he also has to post more!!

Terry and Stephanie should be a comedy duo as they've been cracking us up with their stories.

We got the official paperwork this afternoon to get our house out of foreclosure. I have had some stuff happen lately that I don't want to go into but I still need prayers for fortitude....plus had an interview for a job I REALLY want and feel called to do so I'd appreciate prayers for that too.

I have a question for you...I tried calling last week but all I got was a funny noise like a full answering machine...do you have a full machine??

For those I forgot I am sorry....I always seem to forget at least one person.

For those of you who don't read it, I thought I'd share this :) Amy was referring to a gift Kyle came home with. I really can't be on long because my favorite MIL is almost here (for the entire freaking day. just she and i. to "help out", although I'm doing just fine thanks )

This is from the blog though, and a better picture.

Sorry the pictures are so big on the DIS! Have a great day, all. I would fake a nap or something, but then she'll just get to play with the girls while I hide out in my room. I suppose I should just suck it up and be glad there haven't been any overnight requests yet! ;)

Ooh, which reminds me. I still never told the hospital story about her. I'll get there....

I hope the MIL is mild mannered and helpful today :wizard:

We have some hospital pictures online, finally! I guess they've been up a couple of days, but I never got the email I was supposed to :confused3

Kyle and I were actually going to completely bypass the hospital photo shoot, because I just feel like we get infinitely better shots ourselves than I tend to see from the hospital photographer, in this day of digital cameras and hundreds of the same shots all day :rolleyes1

I'm glad we didn't, though! The Christ Hospital outsources their photography service, and I'm so impressed with the job the photographer did! We didn't even bring in a real outfit or anything because we weren't really interested, so I'm glad we had a pair of onesies (decorated by my sister) that looked pretty cute with the blanket used as a background.

Here's the site, and if they ask for a password it's kjea2008.

the onsies do look wonderful with the background. The girls are beautiful and don't have that newborn look. We all think our babies are the cutest ever, but you may be right with these two :thumbsup2

:furious: I am so frustrated. To many things happening all at once. My chair's actuator is OUT, DEAD, then my portable lift I just got today, the sling is HUGE, and then I have TONS of things I need to get done before I leave for KSDS. The actuator lets my chair tilt back so I can wiggle to get comfortable and let me tilt back out of the way so I can get tied down in my van securely. All we have to do is wait for insurance to verify and doctor to send a prescription for wheelchair repair. Just one more thing to figure out and make me stressed before I get my puppy. I am trying to keep the thought of my puppy in my head to keep me calm and sane.:furious:

:wizard: :wizard: I hope that you can get your chair fixed quickly. I'm sure it is making your already hectic life more difficult.

Thanks so much for the recap Theresa! You've got all I can give as far as your requests. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 for the house!! :woohoo:

Jennifer, the babies are adorable. I loved the matching shirts the blanket.

Elizabeth, you just can't catch a break. I sure hope your mom contiunes to improve.

To everyone who has posted pictures lately, thank you! They are adorable.  :cloud9:

Karen

It looks like I might be taking Colby to the doctor's office tomorrow. He gets those skin warts on his legs and one of them is huge and looks like a boil. He let me lance it tonight, but it is really painful as it is on the back of his knee. I'd rather deal with it here than have to deal with it in Orlando. He has a few others that currently have white heads so we might as well get them all looked at.

I'm officially done work until at least 7/22 :cool1: :cool1: It wasn't overly busy tonight, but I must have worked my customers well as my tips were much better than I could have hoped for. :confused3 After work I hit Kohl's for some comfy yoga pants to wear in the truck. My athletic apparel was very limited and from before my weight loss. I wanted something comfy and long pants style. I get cold easily in the AC. I think they'll work great and Chris said they looked good too :thumbsup2 I'm still 2 lbs heavier than I wanted to be for our trip, but I still have a couple of days to lose those stubborn lbs.

:welcome: home Glynis!!:woohoo: :woohoo:

Happy Belated Birthday figs!!!! party:

Enjoy your trip Elin!! Go Boston!!!:hippie:

So close Deb.....:worship: :worship:

Hi Steffy
