Janet - Things are starting to get picked over. I didn't buy any shorts for myself this year because I couldn't find any I liked. Shirts have been trickier too, since the current styles aren't really my taste. I won't wear tanks or anything sleeveless, so that knocks out a lot of summer tops!
One of our Dillards is going out of business, but half of their stuff is still full price! I was in there yesterday and didn't buy a single thing. The Dillard's across the street is having a better sale than the one that is closing!

Today is RED dye day. Kirsten made a tie dye shirt in Brownies...she wore it last night. Well, I didn't know it had never been washed before...can you say PINK....well, that's the color of the rest of the laundry

I did tell the boys where we are staying, I just had to share with them. Garrett really likes the look of the resort & Riley likes the look of the pool. I have read a lot of negative about the buses, but we will just deal with it. We will be at Disney

No vegan out watching Twilight Zone for me, Gary rented a couple of movies. We are watching Vantage Point right now(well I am multi tasking ).

Well we got a date set for Aidan and his next Cochlear Surgery. He will be operated on the 17th of July with a quick recovery hopefully. We then travel down to Galveston the following week for Mya's procedure. What an event filled month it will be for us.

All the time daddy is suppose to be looking for employment.

Well it looks like the DDA baby boom will be continuing, Brandon is going to be a big brother! I'm hoping for a Princess, but we'll take another Pirate.

Delta Airlines is the spawn of Satan. They have changed our flights AGAIN! I hate the thought of either losing my SkyMiles or paying an enormous fee to have them rebanked (or whatever they call it) and also paying a huge fee to rebook Bob's flights too. I really don't think I should have to deal with this every 2-3 days either! Last week I decided to let it ride and deal with it in 6 weeks or so. But now I feel as if by that time they will have us going to Timbuktu with a 30 day layover to get from Richmond to Orlando!

The real killer is that Airtran has flights for $70 each way that much better fit our schedule and, even with the fees, the total cost for both our flights is only $343.00. But it is the "loss" of the $263 already paid to Delta for Bob's flight and my Award Ticket booking fees that makes me angry.

I am beginning to sound like Elizabeth's older sister, aren't I???


ETA: By the way, Chanon... those great Airtran fares would allow us to take the 3-night cruise...

Good luck with them! I let 75,000 miles expire rather than risk flying with them.

John finished in an hour, and I did it in 90 minutes. At Dreamland getting BBQ for lunch. Happy 4th of July!

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes everyone! It seem to be doing the trick.

Although Mom is not out of the woods yet, she is showing some improvement, and at least recognized us today.

One of her tests is at least showing some abnormalties, so hopefully the Dr.s can figure out what is going on, and treat her from there.

The Disney Store was a ZOO!! We did get some pins on sale. $1.99 each, plus an extra 15% off. Not like I needed pins. The rest of the mall wasn't bad.



LOVE Citrico's. I wanted to go on my birthday, but they are closed Mon & Tues. Today one of the guys from Poly concierge posted that they are extending 7 night service through the end of September. I immediately called Dining but their system does not show Citrico's being open 8/5. So I will have to call back!


We grabbed Sonic for lunch at the mall, bought a few shirts for DH, went to REI and bought a GorillaPod (FINALLY!) and now we are home. I need a nap.

Did you buy the Gorilla Pod for an SLR or SLR zoom? A "regular" Gorilla Pod won't work for your DH's dSLR.

Bernadette - You gave me a link to some batteries once (the Maha Powerex ones). Do I need to buy them with the charger or do you use yours in the charger that came with your camera?

I did buy a new charger but I don't think it is necessary.

I bought Lizzy Cars fabric-different from what I used for Joe's shirt or Emma's shirt-it has a map of rte 66 in the background and car's characters on it. Well Lizzy doesn't want anything with Car's. (I've started this sewing stuff a bit late for her.) So I told Emma I would make her a dress with the fabric. Emma suggests a shirt like the one I made her today but said a dress (that would take about 1/2 the time) would be OK too. So I was working on Lizzy's dress and she says "when are you going to make my Car's dress?" Then the next question was "was is the sewing going to end??????" I tried to tell her it didn't have to ever end and she said I'd be wasting all the fabric from the fabric store if I didn't ever stop.
