When we do the waterparks I will just pack a beach bag for that trip. That is usually a trip to and from the waterpark so we can change in the camper.

Tylenol is in the first aid kit :thumbsup2
I think she meant will you be riding any of the water rides in the parks, like SM or KRR, and was suggesting a change in case you get really wet.

We're all doing great! I just wrote out a long reply to a friend and realized I hadn't given many details, so I'm going to try and update the blog with a bunch. They are doing wonderfully though, not needing any help with anything. So far, they're perfect! ;)

I have been up and moving since about 5 hours post-op, I was determined to because as much as it sucks I know it really does speed things up! I got a shower and wore regular clothes yesterday, and today I'm pretty much feeling back to almost normal.... so much so that I sometimes forget I just had surgery 2 days ago and do something stupid and am quickly reminded :rotfl:

We just got the official word that we all go home tomorrow morning! We knew the babies would go when we did, there were just conflicting reports on when that would be (ranging from this afternoon to Friday). We can't wait! :goodvibes
I'm glad to hear you all are doing so well! :goodvibes

Well I had CSR booked for Aug., but that was not available with the AP rate, so now I have POR booked.

When will the madness end :rotfl:
What day do you leave for your trip?!

Wow, you are doing great. Any signs of jaundice? That was what got us having the boys early. We went home and then had to go back into the hospital with both Hunter and Colby. Hopefully you will be there long enough for them to detect it before you leave. Even better would be to not have it at all :goodvibes

Oh silly me :faint: I make sure that we all wear microfiber on the days we might get wet on rides. That way it dries quickly and it actually feels good to cool off a bit. I am debating about carrying an extra pair of shorts for Colby. I fear that he will nap and he might have an accident. The question is do we carry a pull up to put on him. I'm sure he won't plan to nap and will just conk on making putting a pull up on near impossible or just take a pair of shorts to change him into later. Of course then his seat will be wet too :confused3 Maybe a little waterproof pad to slip under him :confused3 That is my dilema.

Good morning!

Janet,
Hope your water is now safe to drink & your feeling much better.

Elizabeth,
Ok, I know you might have answered this already but why do you need a car for SSR?

Keep trying for the AP's because thats what I did for our April trip. Nothing was available for the resort I wanted until about 3 weeks or so before the trip. Good luck!!

Oh, because people are saying it is taking an hour for a bus to come by. If we have to wait an hour every time we are going out then we'll be waiting for a bus for 4 hours every single day. Multiplied by 10 days that's forty hours of waiting for a bus. Not to mention the stress of trying to get to our ADRs. Since we have DxDDP there are a TON of ADRs. With our current 7 night stay even if we have to take a cab to dinner every night it is cheaper than renting a car. And I am not excited about SSR - I don't think we are going to like it so I don't want to keep adding nights.

No Dings yet.

I can't access DING from work, so please let me know when the rates are up. Maybe DH can look on our computer at home.

At least you got a better rate! :thumbsup2 I would have been more than willing to switch to another deluxe if the rate was lower than WL, but there was NOTHING.

I'm glad to hear you all are doing so well! :goodvibes

Jennifer, glad things are going well! :goodvibes

We're off to the library shortly. Then I think we'll swim for a bit before lunch.

Weedwacking is done. Came in to check for Dings. Nada.

Elizabeth - do you think that hour could be a slight exaggeration? And do you really think it is an hour EVERY time for EVERY bus, or just occasionally? Maybe the rental car companies have sabbotaged the DIS, spreading vicious rumors about astronomically long bus waits, in order to drum up rental business. :teeth:

Elizabeth.....

with your amazing code finding abilities....you should look into getting a deal for a car rental. I had NEVER rented a car before...and I was against it. Marti was the one who keep telling me to try it......now I am not sure I would ever do it again without one. It was soooooooooo convenient!!

Oh that is wonderful news!

I totally agree. It will always be in our budget now, unless it is a quick trip for just the 2 of us. For the family it is a must have now :thumbsup2

Yay for an AP rate! Do you still want to stay at POR for December?

So Daniel & I dropped off the girls to school. We were running some errands (he is such a good helper) & deciding on where to go for lunch. We were just headed to his orthodontist appt when my cell phone rings...(queue the Darth Vadar theme song now)

It was the school nurse, "Katie is not feeling well...she looks pale to me" she says. So we run over to pick her up & she is throwing up in the nurses office. I felt so bad for her. I am just glad she didn't get sick in class in front of her friends. The poor thing was covered head to toe in it. So we took her home & she took a shower. She still doesn't feel well & is very worried because tonight is her recital rehearsal which is mandatory. No rehearsal = no performance. I am trying to calm her down & hopefully she will feel better before tonight.

She didn't eat anything differently before school however she did paint her nails so maybe the smell made her naseous???

I can understand your need for it, with the strollers and all. We had one once, the very first time we went, when the kids were 4 and 2, and used it once or twice. Most of the time we took the busses. Then when Kristine, Kate and I went we had a car. It seemed like it took just as long using the car, by the time we figured out which way to go to get to the park, then parking and walking, etc. I've never had an entire trip that was a bad experience with bus service. Of course there are occasional times when we would have to wait longer than usual, but then there are times when they come immediately. So it all evens itself out. For me, the savings of NOT having a rental car are worth a slight bit of aggravation.

Do any of you know if you can use Canadian Money at WDW? I have some that was left as tips. If I get it converted here I would take a big hit with the conversion fees even though the canadian dollar is stronger than the US dollar :confused3

Oh poor thing. I hope she is well enough to make it to rehearsal. Give her a bucket to take with her just in case. ;) Feel better fast, Katie! :wizard: :wizard:

Well, backyard is mowed.

Ding check.

Nada.

Just got a Ding. Absolutely NOTHING worth checking my computer for all morning. :headache:

:wizard: that Katie is feeling better for tonights rehearsal!
