My mom is back from her consult. The tumor is down to 2 cm now and the surgeon THINKS she can get by with a lumpectomy. They haven't scheduled the procedure, though, because the surgeon and the OB/GYN have to coordinate so the D&C can be done at the same time. MORE waiting!Her follow up will depend entirely on whether her lymph nodes are positive or negative. They also told her she may be able to go home the same day! If they end up having to do a mastectomy she'll stay overnight in the hospital. She said I don't have to come up for the surgery. Yes, I know that. I told her my concern is that Diva Girl will whine and pester and annoy her to the point that she ends up doing things against her doctors' orders, like driving. That really is my main concern. This is serious, but Diva Girl thinks only of herself and can't imagine how anything could be more important than doing exactly what she wants at the precise second that she wants to do it.
Mom is considering sending Diva Girl to spend a week or so with our middle sister. Good. More power to her!
I already told Diva Girl she can stay here for a bit but she will have to come to work with me every day. No sleeping until 1 PM or traipsing all over town wasting $4 a gallon gas. She would be incorporated into MY schedule, I would not bend over backwards to make her happy. She didn't like that plan.
I'm glad it was seemingly easy to take care of at least! 
I don't know so much about characters, but somewhere 'fun'. He is CM'd out and CP is too babyish. He originally said HDD, but when he looked at the matrix he saw we were going there on Friday and said to leave it alone. I showed him pix of 1900 and the stepsisters, so I think he thought that might be kinda fun. He likes the big 'to-do' that you get on your bday.Thanks, Jennifer!

We were there in December and had poor service. Some time needs to pass before we go back again.
I just realized.....if I can't get a freakin' room, I could just go on the 3 night cruise that leaves Dec. 4!!!!
