Adian update:

May 28, 2008 at 03:55 PM CDT
New day new procedures. Well Aidan will be going in for a Bronchostomy tomorrow morning. We hope to find out why he has the Trach and when and if it will be coming out soon. Added prayers would be a wonderful benefit for tomorrow.

I also will work on doing that video thing this weekend.

Good thoughts for Aidan! :wizard:

Hey everyone-There is no way I am catching up on these 45 pages while im away, but I had some internet time and wanted to stop by and say hi!
I am having an AMAZING time! I have gotten to see whales and dolphins off my balcony. I went dogsledding. I got on stage in the magic show. I won Bingo. I saw glaciers. I cant believe there are only 2 more full days left!

You had a busy day. Hope the tooth isn't too painful.

Thanks! The tooth doesn't hurt ar all.

Well I hope its not fractured & you are not in pain. :goodvibes

Theresa - I hope the wrist improves!

We're home from the band concert. It was nice. We couldn't see DS because we thought he would be on one side of the stage and he ended up on the other side in the back.

Tomorrow morning is his awards assembly. Tomorrow is also the last full day of school. Exams and early dismissal start Friday.

I made it to Lansing. It was a beautiful day for a drive. Lake Michigan was gorgeous and the sun was shining. It helped me wind down a little.

I am in agreement with you on this, Kristine. We probably won't spend the money to do any of the parties for a very long time. It is just not worth it to us anymore. Now, if there are ever any little kids with us on a trip in the future... all bets are off! ;)

Chuck and I feel the same way too. I think we are done with the parties though we enjoyed the ones we went to. We've been to MVMCP twice, P&PP twice and MNSSHP once. If there was a P&PP while we were there with my niece and nephew, we'd go again though!

Found a question on the cb that I thought I'd ask here.

If you only had one food in each category to eat for the rest of your life what would they be?

Interesting question.

fruit - strawberries
veggie - corn (especially on the cob)
meat - steak
treat - vanilla ice cream (I could have a Sundae with my strawberries sometimes)

Well, thanks to my wonderful husband and youngest daughter, Bernadette's Disney tapes/CD's and a check are on the way to her. I boxed it up and they dropped it off for me. Amy's window clings are also finally on their way.

Tammi & Deb, Chuck is making sure your pictures get packaged properly and will send those by Friday. He has the stuff needed at his office. I've been worried about mailing them because I just didn't have anything sturdy enough and I didn't want to have them get bent after all the time we spent taking good care of them when we got them.

I think that is everything I'm supposed to send now. I'm holding onto Elizabeth's AP pin until I get the second one.

Am I missing anyone?

Thank you Vicki. I really appreciate you getting those for me. PM me what I owe you when you find out.

My parents went on an Alaskan cruise several years ago. After seeing their pictures, the thing that surprised me most was that there wasn't snow. :confused3 You really have to travel inland to find the snow.

This couple had pictures of lots of snow... but they said the reason they got to see it was because they took an early May cruise.

Well, I think I'm finally mentally prepared. That's been the biggest challenge this time around. I've never had to be the "grown up" on a trip. Either my dad or Alan took care of all the travel arrangements, and made sure we got where we needed to be. Now, I've got to be in charge and make sure my daughter gets where she needs to be. It's kind of daunting!

We're really excited, though! I really cannot wait!!!

Have a wonderful trip Glynis!!!!:dance3: :dance3: :woohoo:

How can they not know if your wrist is broken or not :confused3

ETA: nevermind lol

so I may or may not have a broken wrist:confused3 Right now my thumb is splinted....at the very least I have contused my bone at the most I have a fractured wrist. I got vicodin and an order to come back in a week when the swelling has gone down. He took pity on me and ordered the vicodin when I told him it was my writing hand:rotfl2:

To funny :rotfl:

Oh, great! Those are the years we are starting. I have to laugh, though. We had the 5th grade girl's maturation program a few weeks ago, and ever since then, whenever she's in a bad mood she blames it on puberty. Alan was trying to reason with her one night, and she said, "I'm having a mood swing, ok?" If it wasn't so annoying, it would seriously make me laugh!
