Amy thanks for the tip. I was able to fix my D key :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: All I needed was a screwdriver to lift up the locking plate :confused3 Who knew it was that simple. I'm back in business now :cool1:

Vicki how is the Pepsi reduction going?

I have been able to stick to my diet and I've seen progress :cool1: I'm thinking that our trip being 5 1/2 weeks away has given me the added motivation that I needed. The thought of wearing a bathing suit with my winter weight was scary. I'm hoping I can lose the last 5 lbs in the last 5 weeks. I thik it's doable.:goodvibes

I thought you were the one that provided all the original links but couldn't remember for sure. I'm seriously considering it. I need a goal both to get in shape and to focus on so that I have a life outside of work. It is looking more & more like I'm going to do this. Thanks for the info. If I set my mind to it, I'll let you know and ask you to provide the other link.

Wonderful! I'll see if I have anything else (articles, etc) that I might have kept!

Hooray! Good luck getting your list accomplished today. I've been somewhat productive, but still am behind from doing nothing all weekend :)

Congratulations to Andrews team for getting second! :goodvibes

Yay for Andrew!

Jennifer - Thanks so much for the Housewives article!! I am not sure how I feel about that AT ALL. I have a feeling I may not be glued to my set next season.

Deb - Yay for getting stuff done! :thumbsup2

I managed to get 5 errands out of the way this morning. Well, 4, because even though I went to the pool place to get a replacement part for Dadboss they didn't have what he needed. So I did run the errand, just didn't get the part.

Bernadette - I looked at Marshall's for Emma's hat but they did not have any. I'll have to swing by the other Marshall's another day.

They DID have Athens Crocs in pearl and chocolate (none in my size), pink Nile sandals (also not my size), kids' Mickey Crocs (none in DS's or Princess's size).

Princess said her tummy was hurting this morning, so I was trying to hurry and get things done in case I have to pick her up early. So far, so good. I managed to get everything I needed at Target, but when I got home I realized the Diet Coke was completely crushing the loaf of bread. :scared: I hope the bread puffs back out a little after it has been in the pantry awhile. It looked pretty bad. I don't know if the Coke slid and landed on the bread, or if the girl moved the Coke when she put the dry cleaning in the trunk. (The cleaners is drive-through.)

Hi, everyone! :flower3:

Sorry I've been a bit MIA again - life is busy, what can I say, as I know it is for everyone! I did read, and in the event I miss you (which I'm sure I will miss several unintentionally!), here's a big dose of :woohoo: :wizard:  :grouphug: !

Beth - Happy belated birthday wishes to both you and Miles! And I'm glad to hear Laura's meet went well!

Bernadette - the pics of your trip are just great - you do have a great steady hand! :thumbsup2 I hope Emma is feeling better.

Tammi - good luck with all the trip planning! :wizard: Sounds like you had a good weekend, and I'm glad things are beginning to come together to your advantage with the ex.

Elin - What a wonderful graduation celebration for Kristin. :goodvibes As eveyrone has said, the pics were all great, and you have such a beautiful family (parents included). Glad you enjoyed yourselves!

Tia - glad the new job is going well thus far! :wizard: :wizard:

Debbie - good luck with the packing! Loved the pic you posted of your graduates. :goodvibes

Jen - congrats on getting your packing done! I hope the sunburn heals before you leave!

Deb - sorry to hear the game outcomes haven't been more favorable for the boys, but I'm glad they're playing better. Good luck with the continued home refurb!

Amy - sounds like you guys had a busy weekend, too. How are you feeling these days?

Jennifer - good to see you're still at home. How are your Webkinz these days? ;)

Robyn - I'm so sorry to hear about Emma's school troubles, although it sounds like she had a great (albeit cold) day on the soccer field. Lucy is a cutie, too! Hope the sickies are gone from your house, soon, and good luck with the NKOTB plans! ;) I was a HUGE fan back in the day, but they don't hold any interest for me any longer.

Elizabeth - glad to see you got your dining all worked out. Brace yourself - try mid-to-high 90's today! :scared:

Chanon - I would try working with the resort's bakery first, before going through the general cake line. Although I found getting a specialty cake delivered without any sort of snafus quite a trial. Also, not all DCL spa treatments can be booked in advance - I know from personal experience that they only allow you to book one of the couples spa villa treatments in advance (I think the one they allow is the Couples Choice - the mid-range one). All others have to be booked upon boarding.

Good Morning Friends :)

Sorry I've been MIA again, I have popped in to read but this week came and went in a blink of an eye.

Brandon graduated Kindergarted yesterday, so I officially have two 2008 graduates.

We leave for the cruise in 6 days, so I had better make good use of this weekend, laundry, housework, t shirts, and packing. We're starting today off with mother/daughter pedicures, gotta have decent toes for all those open toed shoes!

I went ahead and made some ADR's for August, I haven't added the dining plan yet, I'll do some number crunching later to see if it will pay for itself or not. I just couldn't find much at counter service that is on my approved list, other than salad and you can only take so much of that. :rotfl:

I've missed many birthday wishes, congratulations and PD this week, so I'm sending out a big group . . . .:wizard: :wizard: :hippie: :wizard: :wizard:

Elizabeth, I hear ya on the towel issue, I'm ashamed to say that we never reusee our towels. I read on one of the boards to purchase one of the cheap bulk packs of washcloths and use them like disposables, I think I'll do that and probably borrow some from the pool area when we go in November.
BTW, it is a surprise for DH and he doesn't know we are staying there so "Mum's the word about it in August".

I've plotted out our days using TGM for August,

Wed. August 13th - MK - Crystal Palace Dinner
Thur. August 14th - Studios - Cape May Dinner
Fri. August 15th - Epcot - Coral Reef Lunch
Sat. August 16th - Studios - H&V Breakfast

So, how about shirts for Cape May? :lmao: I'm all for it if everyone else is, and I nominate Beth to make the design. (You do great designs Beth)

Time to run, have a great weekend everyone!

Congratulations to Brandon!!!

Your cruise is coming up so quickly!!!!

And look who is talking! Your designs are fantastic!

Hi guys, I thought I would show you the newest things that I have been making.

Bags and wallets!

DW loves the Ver@ Br@dley bags, so I thought I would come up with a different version!

This is one for her friend. She picked aqua colors, not my favorite color, but I think it still turned out pretty good, except for a few of my "goof ups".

Bag and Wallet:

(I accidentally put the zipper in upside down! Zippers are not fun!):sad2:

And yes, I did quilt the fabric myself!

We were at the mall the other day, and DW got so many complements on her bag. She kept telling everyone that I made it, and they wanted business cards. I guess I should get some printed.
Not sure I want to start that though!

WOW!!!!! That is amazing!

Hi, Beth! Glad Laura is doing OK! :)

The Half Yearly Sale at Nordstrom starts Wednesday. I don't really need anything, but they sent me a $10 certificate so I'll go take a look. Besides, they have free donuts the first morning of the sale!

Today was Mother/Daughter day here. Alan and Jacob camped last night, and so we made a night/morning of it. This morning we got up and went to breakfast at McDonald's. I love those fruit salads!!! Then we did some shopping at Walmart and found a skort and 2 pairs of capris for Katie for London. We also found some flip flops for the twins, and some other fun stuff. Then, we made a quick run to the library for movies for the kids for this weekend. Finally, came home, and found that Alan has been able to fix the water line to our fridge that broke last Saturday. Did I mention that? It leaked into our floor, and the ceiling in our basement kind of collapsed because of it. Well, it's all fixed now, with new tubing, and seems to be working just fine. No leaks!!! Now, Alan just has to fix the basement ceiling. Lots of repair projects for him while I'm in London.

We decided to go out tonight and let Katie babysit. We are going to dinner at our favorite Chinese buffet place, and then we're going to see Prince Caspian. I can't wait! I love the Narnia books, so I'm thrilled to see this! We wanted to see it before we let the kids see it. Gotta make sure it's not too scary!

See y'all later!

So, what did you think of Prince Caspian? We all enjoyed it, though there was so much fighting. I don't remember if the book was all battle. I need to go back and re-read it. I'm re-reading The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe right now. Miles thought that it was a great birthday treat, since we don't usually go to the movies. We ate at a Chinese Buffet place after the movie, too!

I had to bring Emma to the doctor this morning. Poor kid has one nasty yeast infection. I was hoping she escaped that since she was off the antibiotic on Monday.

Then I brought her to soccer. The coach is dad to 2 of the girls on her team and they didn't want to play-they were looking at a Disney princess book they brought with them. Why did he let them bring that???? So then none of the other girls wanted to play either. I felt bad for the coach of the other team-they only had 3 girls. At first Emma was playing for the other team but when the coach of her team couldn't get 4 girls on the field he had Emma put her shirt back on and they played 3 vs 3 so the girls on the other team never got a break. I think she only has a few weeks left.

Poor Emma! I hope she is all better now!

I cried off and on throughout the entire ceremony. There are many reasons I did, but the most important one is that I was so very proud of her.

I agree 100%, Debbie, that having grown daughters is a delightful outcome to raising little girls! Kathrin and Kristin and I left Bob far behind in our conversations over the past 24 hours. Luckily he doesn't mind.... he just sat there and grinned at us. :goodvibes

This gave me chills! Congratulations to all of you!

You all are too funny!

Thanks for all the confidence builders. Sometimes I just don't know if I really have a talent, or just a hobby!

I have a Disney themed one in mind! We'll just have to wait and see if I get it made or not!:rotfl:

Definitely talent!

We just got home from taking Mom out to her monthly dinner. She is just not doing too great. She is showing signs of dementia, and has lost her ability to stay balanced, even with a walker.
The nursing staff is going to be testing her with different medications to see if they can help.
It just seems weird to see my Mom this way.
 I hope a change in meds helps.

We had a wonderful but busy day. First we went to see Narnia. It was good, but not enough Aslan. Caspian is VERY cute. :goodvibes: Then I took Alyssa to the mall to exchange some dresses and we ended up with even more clothes than we exchanged. I also took her to Libby Lu to buy something with a gift card she got for her bday. While we were doing that Bob and Nicholas went to the batting cage. He said Nicholas did real well. We'll see at his first practice on Monday night. Then we went to church and out to dinner. Somewhere in there I managed to do 3 loads of laundry too. Tomorrow, actually today, I need to go to the grocery store and do some more laundry. We also have a cookout to go to in the afternoon. I hope the rain holds off.

I thought so, too, but dd didn't!

It's 53 degrees here and very windy. colby and I went outside for a few minutes, but it was too windy to play. We even broke one of our trackball things. It must have been cold as I caught the ball in it and it snapped. thankfully we had an extra so Colby wasn't too bummed. The ceiling seems to be drying nicely. Now I just have to deal with the mess of sanding it again :headache: At least that's not a mess that I have to deal with until the weekend. I work tonight, Thursday and Friday. Hunter has concerts on Tuesday and Wednesday. Another busy week on tap. At least our schedule for June looks a bit less busy.:upsidedow

I caught a bit of the discussion on Siskel & Ebert (which isn't called that anymore) and they were both saying that the director really chose to make the movie all about battle and less about other things like character development and plot. They were complaining that scenes that took one page in the book were spread out to 5-10 minutes of film footage. So there you have it! :rotfl2:

Elin -- the pics of your family (and graduate) were beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing your weekend via pics. The love your girls and you and Bob share is very evident in the pictures. By the way -- you look fabulous in the one pic you let us see of yourself. :)

This made me teary-eyed, Marci. Thank you so much.

Sounds like a good outcome from the tournament this past weekend and YAY!!! for the final soccer game coming up. That should certainly help out your never-ending schedule!

Not so great. I just haven't been motivated to do it. That is part of the reason that I'm seriously look at the half marathon at Disney and then the full. When I'm physically active, I prefer water over pepsi.

I just bought my cousin and her husband a copy of the newspaper from their wedding day (7/7/07) for their anniversary. It's their first anniversary (get it? :teeth: Paper? :rotfl: ) and it comes 11x17 and I plan on framing it...Can anyone else think of something else that I could put with it? The already subscribe to the paper so I can't get them a subscription...
