I love the Kinzpost sorter. The gem mining is absolutely the worst for me.

Tammi, there is a pattern to the grocery store. It took me a while to figure it out.
There should be a way to check to see if you have the gem before you have to commit to keeping or selling it. I can never remember and I end up with 4 of one thing. I usually get slag though so it doesn't matter too much.

In the Employment office there is a job that is Gem Mining. It's different from the Curio Shop.

Here's a link to a checklist to keep track of your gems from the Curio Shop. I have multiples of many gems too. I always find the same one over and over again. I think I 10 or more of some of the level 3 gems.

I am pretty good at the mining one, but I need the 'pattern' to the grocery store one.

My favorite games are cash cow and after dark. The one with the letters really keeps me going because of the typing. My speed has increased big time playing that one.

I was wondering who I would catch with this one. ;) In virtual Webkinz world, you earn kinzcash by going to the employment office and completing jobs. You can do one job every 8 hours.

I knew exactly what you meant :goodvibes

Morning, everyone. I'm trying to catch up at home and work. Rees is sick with a horrible sinus infection and home today, and our new bed arrives today (last piece of new furniture). I hope y'all are good. Sending you PD, hugs, and congrats... whatever you may need!

:wizard: That Rees feels better quickly. I'm sure you'll love the new bed and so will John ;)

I am pretty good at painting fences or tossing newspapers, but the hamburger one gets me every time :lmao: :lmao:

I suck at the newspapers and the grocery bagger, but love the kinzpost sorter. The boys have me do it for them :lmao:

Anyone want a gem mining tip that works 99% of the time? :rolleyes1

Watch each area that you can hit with the hammer. If you see only one star on the clump, chances are it's slag. If there are 2 stars (both may not be visible at the same time though so watch carefully) There is a good chance that you will get a gem. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries on the double star ones, but I almost always get a gem in each session. :thumbsup2

THREE HOURS?!?!? I would have left! :rotfl2:

As for your half hour walk... think of it as the exercise you don't have time to fit it! :thumbsup2

that's the way I've been looking at it....but 1 mile to and from work yesterday and then another half to 3/4 mile to walk to the long concert and I was done for!!:rotfl2:

and today it's raining.....I have no clue where our umbrellas are...guess I'll get a little wet on the way home (my grandpa surprised me by picking me up this morning).

Good luck at the dentist, Elin & Deb!

2 years ago when I asked for a design I had NO CLUE how many requests designers were getting. Maybe it is worse now? Anyway, no wonder some of the designers have decided to retire! Those of you who design, my hat is off to you!! Your generosity is staggering!:thumbsup2
IF I could design (which I can't) I might post but there is no way I would have the patience to keep up with a thread of 10 new requests every single day. I would have to have a generic design page and make it clear that no personalization or modifications are available unless you can do it yourself!

I need to go see what DS is doing. He stands in his closet for 20 minutes EVERY morning. You would think he would have seen everything in there by now!

but you keep adding to it mom!!:rotfl2:

Good Morning DDA!!

Elin and Janet hope your dentist appts. are painless!!

Vicki-hope you have arrived safely to your sister's!!

I may have to check out Webkinz(but I really don't need another distraction!!).

Jennifer- I am so glad that Baby A is doing fine. What a scare for you and Kyle.

Marci- Feel better soon!! :wizard:

Denise- I hope Rees feels better today!! :wizard:

Elin- :wizard: for an easy dentist appointment.

Deb- ditto to the above for you as well.

Elizabeth- I can understand your concerns regarding the band trip, but I'm sure all will be fine. And I think it's a requirement to be kind of clueless to be a band director. Mine certainly was, we used to call him the Drunken Sailor. I have no idea where the name came from as he didn't drink but he just seemed in a fog most of the time.

Vicki- I hope you have a safe rest of your trip to your sister's today.

Tammi- Enjoy the break!

I know there's more I missed.'s and :wizard:

Elizabeth -- when is it that DS's band is going to Six Flags? I hope you got the rest of the information you were looking for.

Still no Mickey Monitor for me...whine...whine...

Thanks for the good wishes for Andrew yesterday. Unfortunately, the game was rained out, as was Jake's soccer game. It worked out for the best, as I'm still having allergy problems and a sinus infection. We ran errands before going home last night, and will do the same again today. Andrew has Kaleo and that's it for tonight. We are expecting more rain/storms today, so I hope Elizabeth and Lindsay stay safe!

May 17. I would have been much happier if they were going May 16, which is a Friday.
I am TIRED of "severe" weather! I don't have to be out today other than to pick up Princess from school, but that's not the point.

I am chopping 2-3 inches off of my hair today...hopefully I won't hate it. Bill keeps giving me gift certificates to this day spa/salon...so I think I will get it highlighted as well. I was going to go do the whole waxing thing...but I can't seem to get myself in the mood for that :rotfl:

I am getting used to my hair. I hope you are happy with yours! :wizard:
The only part of me that has ever been waxed is my eyebrows, but they are so blond that it doesn't really make much difference. :confused3

:rotfl: Sounds like he has too many clothes. A chip off the ol' block. ;)

He wears a UNIFORM! White polo and navy pants, period! Yesterday he had dumped out a bag of pool toys and was examining them when I went to see why he wasn't dressed. He's just flighty.
And there is NO SUCH THING as "too many" clothes. :sad2:

I agree! The mining is tough and I swear it drops things when I don't want it too half the time.

Gem Hunt Help

Cool!! I made a checklist for the girls at one point as I tired of the extras. I love the hints though! We're only missing a few and most are green so now I know where to look!

Good morning all!! Just a fly by as we're on our way out the door to go get the car tags! (Of course, we're going to have to check out the gem hunt hints first. Terra really wants to find the Terra Tectonic.) Catch you all later!

AP RATES ARE OUT THROUGH AUGUST 3!!

All of MY nights are still at RACK RATE  :headache:  but other people are getting AP rates. And the Passholder website is down.

Last time I did that whole Brazilian thing....I liked it (Bill liked it too/TMI!!) but like I said....I have to be mentally prepared for it

Do you mean the WHOLE waxing thing?! ;) :scared1: I could understand why you might not be in the mood for it. Post pictures of the new 'do'.

It would have to be one heL-uva mood to get me to have THAT done!

This AP rate thing is really chapping my fanny. Everybody else is getting fabulous rates and I get RACK RATE. I don't want RACK RATE. I would rather have a discount than a Mickey Monitor.
