Good morning :)

Glynis I hope Leslie's ankle is not broken :wizard:

Stephanie congratulations! princess:

Theresa I am so sorry to hear what you & your family are dealing with right now. You are in my prayers, :wizard: & for you all.

Sorry if I missed anyone, so here is a blanket of :wizard: & for everyone.

Yesterday was a very long day & to top it I have a head cold :headache: I am really hoping this clears up some before Monday. My ears bother me anyway when I fly & this will not help any. I don't like to take OTC medicine as most of it makes me jittery. If I get any worse I will see if the Dr. can give me anything.

Two more days & I am off for a week, I am so ready for it. Working 10 days straight is wearing me down. I don't mean to sound like I am complaining as I would rather work than deal with what Mary is going through right now. I am just tired & not feeling the greatest.

Hope everyone has a great day!
I hope you feel better soon, Janet. It's miserable flying when you are congested.

JENNIFER I HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!

Happy Birthday!
A good friend of our family passsed away yesterday. She's the one I told you guys about a couple of years ago, who had breast cancer. It came back about a year ago, but had spread. They told her she had a month to live, but then found a different doctor who had a treatment that prolonged and gave her a good quality of life for most of the last year.

My SIL made a cake yesterday and we took it over last night. The visitation is tonight, so I'll get the kids to their practices and go to that. The service is tomorrow at 2, so my BIL who STILL doesn't have a job will pick up the kids for me.

Sending PD out to those who need it. Have a good day everyone!

Marci, I'm sorry for the loss of your friend.

It has been an exciting day. My dear DIL went from holding a meeting to motherhood in 1 hour 19 minutes. Meeting over 3:30. Baby 4:49. princess: princess: princess: princess:

She is such a cutie. If I wasn't so tired I would post a picture. I'm exhausted.

Thanks so much for all your good wishes (I know they are there, just haven't had a moment to read):yay: :yay: :yay:

The biggest upside for all of this is no surgery for my DDil!!! She is happy, painfree and able to hold her own baby!!! She is up walking and going to the potty by herself!! Such a change from last time. This is the way God intended.... We are all happy, and I'm going to hit these sheets!

My son and grandson are doing great too!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Congratulations to your whole family!

Happy Birthday, Jennifer! :yay:

Marci, I will keep your family and your friend's family in my thoughts and prayers.

Sorry for just skimming, ladies. I hope you all are doing all right today! :grouphug:

I hope to rent 27 dresses this weekend.

I have started to watch movies, and I am not one to sit still long enough to get through one. Plus I have a bad habit of picking apart movies. :confused3 (What can I say, I have issues.) ;)

Anyway recently saw Where The Heart Is (Ashley Judd, Natalie Portman) and I thought it was cute.

My family finds it very funny that I can't "just" watch a movie (unless it's in the theater), I have to read, do dishes, etc. I blame my favorite English teacher for making me pick apart movies...had to do it for her class. I do turn my little editor off better in a theater and I (usually) wait until the end to pick the movie to pieces!!:rotfl:

I'll ditto this whole post as I quickly read and am now off to help my Dad paint their Livingroom ceiling. Have a great Day

Stephanie - a new grandbaby to love! YAY!

Marci - I am so sorry for your friend's family and you. How wonderful that she had this past year to live fully. Take care today.

Janet - feel better!

Theresa, yeah I keep quiet in the theater too. Guess out of respect for the others, but once out all bets are off.

I really liked Where the heart is.

I'm kind of the same way with movies. Alan hates to watch them with me, so I've started checking them out from the library and watching them while the kids are at school. Best of both worlds. I can watch without Alan getting annoyed at me for making comments!

That's EXACTLY the way I am! Alan gets mad and tells me to put the (whatever I'm doing) down, and watch the movie! It really annoys him!

After having 80 degree weather on Tuesday, we are working really hard to hit 50 degrees today! I'm even seeing snow fall outside my window! Ick!!!

Marci - I'm so sorry for your loss!

Stephanie - Congrats on the newprincess: . I can't wait to see pictures.

Elizabeth - tell DS I hope he enjoys his braces gone! What an accomplishment!

Deb - Alan and I usually go out to eat once a week, and we haven't seen any slowdown where we go. Of course, we don't go high end! We're more the Bajio, Cafe Rio, Sizzler, sort!

I am sorry to hear that, Marci.

I'm sure he will look sooooo handsome.

I hope so! After 20 months and several thousand dollars he better look GOOD! :rotfl2:

I hope you feel better soon, Janet. It's miserable flying when you are congested.

:wizard: Feel better, Janet!!
