It is a rolled fondant like you would use to create a cake. For a cake it says to lightly frost with royal icing then apply the fondant. I wasn't sure if I needed to do that with the cookies or not. It tastes divine.

Did you guys hear that one of the Biergarten CM's died of a heart attack on stage on 1/31? He was only 48, he had been at Biergarten for 24 years and to make the tragedy even worse for his poor family his dad died 3 hours later that same day.

So sad

he is 23 years old...

Kilimanjaro Safari Jeep Fire - Sunday 2/10/08

On Sunday afternoon, February 10th, the engine in one of the Kilimanjaro Safari Vehicles caught fire. According to the Orlando Sentinel, "Four guests requested a medical evaluation at the scene, and one of them, a woman who was injured as guests exited the ride vehicle, was taken to Celebration Health."

The ride is scheduled to reopen Monday, February 11th.

Scary!

What timeshare group is it? We've stayed in a few in that area so maybe I can help.

Deb I have a Seal a Meal, what is yours?
Yes freeze anything that you want to keep longer then a week. Yes my booklet has recipes in it, as you can buy canisters to store food in also.

Did you freeze it or just use the food saver and refrigerate it? I got one for Christmas, but it was a display model so I don't have the users manual. Are there specific recipes for it? At least now I know who to bug with questions

I looked at the pins on sale this morning, but did not buy any. All the cheap ones were gone already.

Garrett completed his poster board & did his presentation today. He says it went pretty good, but does not know what grade he received yet. With it being late, I am hoping he at least a gets a C, but you never know!

We are suppose to get more snow tonight, 1-3 inches. I am so tired of this

Janet, first they were calling for 4-6 inches of snow for tomorrow. Now they are calling for a little snow, then sleet, more snow, before fisishing off with freezing rain.

I am pulling my hair out trying to plan my ADR's for August.

TGM's best days are not out yet so I am making educated guesses. Also the fact that the P&PP's may or may not happen in August is messing up my plans. I do have one day set. Lunch with Bernadette & her family on 8/20 at CP. A friend of mine & her family will be there too so I have 2 meals planned with them (Chef mickeys & Boma). I am trying to put in some time for relaxation & pool time but I am too commando do do that!

Janet - I am glad Garrett got his project done! DS turned in his Science paper today so we'll see how much credit he gets for it.

I left a voice mail for the band director on the band room phone to see if DS has to stay late tomorrow. The disorganization is mind boggling.

We stayed at the Sheraton Vistana one time. It was pretty nice. Definitely a good choice. My dad considered the Seaworld one once, but we decided that it was too far away. The other two, I don't know much about. The reviews on Cypress Pointe were pretty good on the RCI site. Good luck with your choice! Are you going to rent a car? If not, definitely be sure to check your transportation options before deciding. The first time I stayed at some condos, the info we found had on transportation was not complete. It ended up costing a little more in both time and money than we were prepared for. I wish that I had called ahead to verify the info first.

I need to make 2 more ADRs and follow up with IPO to see if they are going to make my Y&Y ressie for me. When they sent the confirmations for the other stuff they said Y&Y doesn't book 180+10, which I understand. But now we are less than 180 out from the day we want to go there.
I am on the fence about P&PP. I kind of feel like we can take it or leave it, so if they don't have them in August it's OK.
