As the great Rafiki said "It is time."

Well (without TMI) it has become apparent that I must have an edometrial ablation. They are also doing a tubal ligation at the same time. Hoping this will make my life alittle easier in the TOM respect which has been quite brutal the past few years. Now I am just waiting to get a surgery date. :rolleyes1

Well, I'm glad that you at least have some answers. I hope they can get you in soon and that it will help immensely!

OMG!! My current daycare just called. The kids will
be staying there! I'm so happy!

Woohoo!!!!!! :banana::dance3:

My dad made it safe and sound, and the van didn't give him any trouble. Maybe it still has some life left in it. Which would be great to have it for commuting.

I'm praying for those of you on the East Coast. Earl looks like one nasty storm. Bernadette and anyone else that need to evacuate, our door is open, Chris and I would be happy to have any of you stay with us.

I spent the evening upholstering one of the front seats in Chris' street rod. He also got it running tonight :cool1: He is so happy. I must say that the seat came out pretty nice. I wasn't sure that I was up to the task as I've never tackled a project like that before.

I've been meaning to tell you that my cousin has a boyfriend!!!! They met online. Other than her husband of 34 years who she started dating at 13, this is her first boyfriend. It has been wonderful to see my fun loving, carefree, crazy cousin back after over 35 years. I used to wonder if I just was remembering my teenage cousin and was jealous of her husband coming in and taking her away from me. It's obvious now that she was hiding behind her pain. Her smile now is brilliant. I'm worried she is moving too fast but after so many years of no affection, she so deserves this happiness. Even if it doesn't last, she is better off for having had someone treasure her for whatever time they get.

Anne Marie-thinking of you!

Tammi-Glad your dad made it in the van okay--YAY for staying with day care!!

I read everything but now forgot what I was going to type!! Yesterday was our first day back at work--We had a 4 hour meeting in the morning, I had an hour meeting with a parent, and some time to work in my room--left there around 5, brought work home and did work til 10 then went to bed! Same thing today--Im getting SO much done though!

Have a good day :)

That's great! I hope it will last you for some good commutes.

Woohoo! How exciting to get it running!

That's so great for her! I hope it works out well for her.

Sounds like quite the productive day. Hope today goes just as well!

So we are booking our DVC for next year next week. We all decided on OKW – because of space and room layout. Well stupid me decides to check to make sure we are getting the BEST DEAL and I realized that BWV standard is one point cheaper. We are going the 1st week in October so I definately know that BWV would be a prime location.

Any pros/cons between the two? The third bed in OKW isn't needed; standard villas can be far.... I guess I want to make sure I'm picking the right hotel for everyone.

OKW is spread out and you don't know where you'll be. Not a problem if you have a car. The rooms are much bigger at OKW and the atmosphere is more laid back. I would say it is our favorite DVC resort. We did not like BWV mostly because of the location of our villa. We were in an end building and had 2 strollers. The elevators are in the center of the main building. We had to walk 100s of yards every time we wanted to go in or out. Totally turned us off to BWV. I doubt we'll ever stay there again just because you don't know where you'll end up. I'm sure ground floor or close to the elevators would have given us a totatally different opinion.

I LOVE OKW. That being said, I would choose BWV in a heartbeat over OKW during the F&W Festival. You just can't beat being able to walk into the International Gateway to start the noshing around the World.

Surgery is scheduled for the 13th. I have a pre op visit before that as well. Once I made the appointment I started to get nervous.

I got an offer to get tickets for The Lion King (Broadway on tour) before they officially go on sale thru my Disney Visa. I got us 3rd row seats!:thumbsup2 This will be the kids Christmas present from us so they do not know!

School & after school activites have kicked in & we are all looking forward to sleeping in on Monday!!

Deb,
I agree with Elin. With the F&WF going on BWV is the perfect location!!!

Any of the east coasters feeling the effects of Earl yet? We're wondering how much of the rain and winds we will get. Bernadette seems to be right in the path :wizard: Please stay safe.

Well I called the Bob's parents...and she's going to talk it over with the other sibling that's going. We don't care about the space; in the long run we are leaving it up to them because Bob's sibling (sister, husband and two kids) are the ones that will be in the "studio section of the room. They are both 6'5", and don't want to make them suffer on the sleeper sofa unless it's their choice. :teeth:

I'd be at BWV in a heartbeat...

We were close to the elevators and it was much noisier. Except for F&WF, I doubt that we will ever stay there again. For F&WF, it would be fantastic.

I have to say we aren't too worried. We are right on the line of huricane/tropical storm. The news just 2 seconds ago said 25 to 40 mile per hour winds. The biggest worry is loosing electricity. During Hurricane Gloria in 1985 we lost electricity for 10 days. That was a challenge without kids. We'll stay safe and go to MIL's of we have to.

Thanks so much for the offer!!!
