morning all.
I am at work but on our A/P unit so my patients are still sleeping and we dont wake them up. So around 9 or 10 I will be able to do their assessments.

so Jeff is thinking he would rather see the Christmas decorations. So we will go sometime after Thanksgiving.

I am feeling better tonight. i think gingerale may have helped once I got to work. In any event I feel normal now.

We would like to plan a WDW trip before our annual passes expire next July, but there are so many unknowns that we can't even begin to plan. Hopefully I'll havev a new job so I don't know how much vacation time I'll have or when i'll be able to take it. Nick needs to take drivers ed and it will probably be over the summer. It is frustrating will all the unknowns.

Deb glad you are feeling better. Good luck on figuring out your next trip.

Good morning!

School supply shopping here today. blah!

Terry & Stephanie. Yay!!! :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

Good Morning

We need to run to the library and pick up the last book for Hunter's summer reading. He called this morning and they're holding it for him. I think we'll run to Kohl's too as Mom got at 30% off coupon. I'm not sure that we need much, but Colby is so skinny now I'm sure some pants will be needed. Maybe some new sneakers for the boys too.

Before I run out I need to get a cover letter done and get my resume submitted for a scheduling supervisor position. I'm applying for positions that might be slightly out of my reach. In the past I have always applied for positions that I was over qualified for. I'm hoping that this is a career move for me and since I'm already working there is no rush to just get a job. I need to make sure that I'm at the pay scale that I want to be at with benefits that we can live with. Hopefully we can get better insurance than what we have through Chris' work as his sucks!

My cruise review is up now so if anyone would like to read it you can find it here: Epic Review

Have a great day.

Mostly on the exchange board, but you can always find me on facebook.

Hello, DDA! I've been in a bit of a funk since we got back. Nothing bad, but I don't feel like doing anything. Maybe that will get better after tomorrow's staff meeting.

Today Laura has senior pictures. She really doesn't want to go, and I really don't want to plunk down a bunch of money right now. I'm not sure why we even signed up other than it's the easiest way to get her picture into the yearbook. I'm sure it will be fine.

Heidi, Good to see you pop in.

Bernadette, I basically gutted DS's room down to the bare walls. All new furniture (Bed w/trundle, new mattress & box springs, night stand, desk w/hutch & chair, dresser, and bookcase), new curtains, new posters that I put in frames. He wouldn't let me paint. They offered to replace the carpet, but we would have had to do the entire apartment, not just his room, so I said no. WAY too disruptive. So now his closet is bursting full, his dresser has been dumped into a cardboard box, he is sleeping on a mattress on the floor. New furniture starts arriving Friday, but some of the pieces were back ordered and some were "special" order so we may be looking at multiple delivery dates.

School starts Monday. He is excited! He still has to write a 2 page paper for his English class, so I am sure we will be fighting about that this weekend.

How is your foot?

Sounds like everyone's trip plans are going well! :thumbsup2

Deb,
Just read your cruise report. Sounds like you really enjoyed it!!! :thumbsup2

WOW! I'm sure it will look great when you're done. Did he have a desk w/hutch before? When we used Joe's bed to make bunk beds with Lizzy's bed he had to sleep on a matress on the floor for about 6 weeks. Poor kid wasn't real happy about that but now he's got nice stuff. Of course you can never see the top of his desk.:headache:

All my coworkers have been asking me if my kids liked having me home. I say I doubt it as I've been harping on them all to do their summer home packets. Lizzy has to do 2 book reports. I told her she better have one book read when I get home tonight.

My foot is doing really well considering what they did to it. Good thing I didn't research it much before I did it or I wouldn't have had the courage to go through with it. All that hurts now if where the pin is sticking out. It pulls on my skin everytime I move. I got a BIG boot-up to my knee-to wear at work. It keeps my foot from moving. It is heavy and hot and about 2 inches higher than my other shoe so its tough to get around much. It is doing a great job of reminding me not to over do it! I've got about 3 more weeks with the pin. Can't wait to get that out. It hurts a lot less now than it did in May so I know it will be worth it in the end. I was exhausted when I got home from work last night. I'm not used to this work stuff and not used to carrying all this extra weight of the boot around. Gene drove me yesterday as I had to get fitted for my boot but a coworker drove me home and picked me up this morning and will drive me to where the kids have piano tonight (less out of her way).

He had a loft bed, so the desk was just a little one that pulled out from under the bed. BUT he had 3 bookcases full of stuff, plus shelves on the end of the desk and as another component under the bed so we had to get the hutch for the shelf space. I tried to get rid of a lot of the stuff from the shelves because it was mostly just crap and clutter, but you know how that goes.

Glad the foot recovery is progressing well!

Deb-I loved reading your review!

Today was an okay day--i got a lot of stuff done for work..Now i am getting ready to go to my friend's viewing so its going to be a tough night...

Deb,
Just read your cruise report. Sounds like you really enjoyed it!!! :thumbsup2

We totally enjoyed our cruise and our entire vacation for that matter.

I dropped my resume off for a Scheduling Supervisor position this afternoon. She said they would be calling me either today (didn't hear from them) or tomorrow. Please keep your fingers crossed for me

Hi all! Sorry that it's been so long. I swear if I don't make it onto the computer for two days, it turns into a week before I know it, Paid for it by not knowing a meeting was cancelled the other day. :headache:

My dad's prostate surgery is this morning if you could keep him in your prayers. Thanks everyone :goodvibes:

I am hoping to catch up today, but also have an extra baby for the day so we'll see. Actually, maybe that's what I'll do at the libraryu tonight while Terra goes to reading club! Either way I'll catch you all later. Hope all is well.

Deb - Good luck with your job hunt!

Tia - Thinking of your Dad this morning.
