I'm spent. More arguing over shirts this morning which was eventually ironed out. I waited all day for the oil man to come to clean our furnace and he didn't arrive until 4 PM. Of course Hunter and Amy had a miscommunication and He wound up missing the bus and a ride with her. I had to run to school to get him just as the oil man was supposed to arrive. I told Chris that I'm at the breaking point, something has got to give soon.
The furnace is running and it was all covered under the cleaning special for $149. Of course he found a bunch of things that need to be replaced soon and that will probably cost a couple thousand of dollars.
Speaking of kids growing up too fast...........Alyssa and one of her classmates, a boy, started hanging around each other all morning on the field trip. We went to a picnic facility for lunch, and they sat at a picnic table all by themselves and ate. Then they wanted to sit together on the bus for the ride back to school. Tonight while I was cooking dinner, guess who called to talk to Alyssa?! Alyssa told me later that while they were sitting together talking he made her "feel really comfortable, like she could trust him", so she told him she liked him.I remember doing things like this in 7th or 8th grade, but not 2nd!!!! And who decided kids need to learn their phone number?!?!?!

Deb - Glad the furnace is up and running!
Beth - Glad Jonathan was able to find a job. I'll bet it's tough.
Tammi - Hope the field trip wasn't too bad.
Dad got moved out of IMC today to a regular room. So I took Olivia up to see him. They were both excited to see each other.
I'm so glad they got to spend some time together!!! I know that Olivia has been anxious to see him.![]()
the first thing she told him was she had 3 loose teeth.
Sounds familiar! Terra all of the sudden has four new loose ones. Pretty soon she's going to be without any top teeth. Guess it's another summer without her favorite - corn on the cob.
