I'm so sorry to hear that you were in so much pain and still are. Thanks for all the good thoughts, my outpatient surgery turned into in patient when I woke up very nauseous and in a LOT of pain. I knew it would be painful but I wan't quite prepared for that.
Because of my breathing issues I couldn't have the pain block, so I recieved IV morphine all day yesterday, today is still painful but much better.
I did miss my PT today, I was still in the hospital, but I'll be there tomorrow.
Glad that's over!I'm back.... wasn't as bad as I thought...Dr. said she see's nothing that makes her concerned. Results will be in 10 days but she was very sure it would be nothing. whew....glad thats over.
I should figure out how many Disney photos I have. I have 23,549 photos since August 2008. Not all Disney but most of them must be.Bernadette,
I remember last summer when you had that large camera on your neck in a plastic bag & it started pouring in the MK! I think we both have a bazillion pictures of every angle of all the resorts & parks so it would be nice to walk around in the summer without all the camera gear. I have a little slim casio elixim which is all I take now...we used to have 2 cameras & the big old 8MM video recorder when the kids were younger. oy!
I never said NO camera. I just said no Nikon. I have a small pocket size Sony. Lizzy has one too and I might ask my SIL if I can borrow one of her 4 digital cameras for Joe. I've convinced Joe that he doesn't need to take his Sony camcorder-he can take his flip if he wants.Bernadette, GASP!NO CAMERA???? NOT EVEN ONE???
DH sold some of his fishing rods & reels so he could buy another camera bag without me knowing. But then he told me he did it. He claims he is going to carry a bag this year. But not a bag he already had.He has DOZENS of rods and reels. I don't CARE what he does with them. And chances are I wouldn't have realized it was a new bag. But maybe I would have. He is going to a KEH event tomorrow to try to sell his Sony stuff so he'll have money to buy more Nikon stuff. His pics of Princess's recital were pretty lackluster, but he was far from the stage and over to one side. My boss got some good pics (he has a Canon).
I'm so sorry to hear that you were in so much pain and still are.![]()
Hope it eases quickly!!!
Glad that's over!

BUT...your fishing talk reminds me that I would want nice fishing photos. Oh well...the little Sony will have to do....I secretly want to buy a nicer point & shoot.
Hope DH gets lots of $$$$ for his Sony stuff!!!!
I'm not surprised he didn't get great photos with the nikon with the lenses he has and no external flash. He needs a better lens and a flash!
I made an appointment with a podiatrist for next Wednesday. I cannot walk at all without pain. Now my shin & knee hurt from walking funky.
Bernadette, I will tell you truthfully that if you get a cortisone shot it will hurt like a Sonny Beach!!!!!!! But the relief afterwards will be worth it. With our insurance, I could get three shots in a year in one spot. I cannot even begin to say how much those helped me. I would do it again.![]()
Tia, What has Terra said you were having. When we asked Olivia what mommy had in her tummy she said a baby sister I was about 12 weeks pregnant when we asked her.

Anyone hear from Debbie?
The Christmas that Alan and I got engaged I dreamed that we had twin girls. It was so vivid that I just KNEW we were going to have twin girls! Then, we had all the infertility problems, and I just didn't know what to think!. After Katie, and then Jacob, I kind of figured that the twin dream was only that, a dream. I was so surprised, but kind of vindicated when Leslie and Mary came along. Don't ever discount the twin vibe!
I'm thinking boy, though. Don't know why. I can't wait to hear.
And quickly before Rachel gets mad because she wants to do homework (and I'm arguing this is more important!!!!!)
First baby pictures...

Congrats on your new Princess Tia. Your right this is more important. Tell her to use your dads computer not yours.![]()
And Tia... It's a GIRL!!! Congrats, Mommy!!!
Debbie, I'm sorry that there was so much pain. I hope that PT goes well and you find relief very soon.
Tia, congratulations!
Ann Marie, I'm glad to hear your appointment wasn't as bad as you thought and that the doctor doesn't think there is a problem.
We went to the Science Research and Engineering Symposium at the high school last night. They have a new science research program in which they team students up with mentors. It was unbelievable the work that these high school kids were doing. Some of it was way beyond me, and I usually consider myself intelligent.
We finished at the preschool yesterday. Now to get to work on this house! Unfortunately, we are going to visit my in-laws tomorrow and have a swim meet an hour and a half away Sunday, so I won't get anything done over the weekend.
