Ohh cake! I have been so hungry for cake, but I am being good.

Mmmmm. I think I need some cake. Wonder what kind of ice cream we have?

We had the last day of bowling today (besides the party next month). Colby bowled very well and his team was in 1st place before today. Hunter's team was also in first, but he didn't bowl so well. Summer is on his team though and she bowled very well Nick's team was in sixth place so even though he bowled well they won't move up much.

After bowling I hit Kohl's in hopes of finding shoes for the boys to wear on the cruise. I found some for more than 50% off for Hunter and Colby, but I missed judged the sizing so I need to go exchange them. I didn't find anything at Kohl's that Nick would like, but amazingly enough I found a pair for $12 at Walmart that he will love I think I'll head to work early and make my exchanges before I have to be there. I'll be glad when tonight is over. I'm not working at the restaurant next week as we have lacrosse every night and I need to be there for sign ups. The older 2 also have play practice from 2:30 - 7 PM every night so my Mom will have to help with transportation and we'll grab them a bit early in order to get them to lacrosse. Crazy nights, but at least I should be able to manage.

Yeah for a good bowling day! Sounds like quite a week coming up. Good luck with it all!

I found a cute golf skirt and coolmax shirt at TJ Maxx today I also found a white tennis skirt that looks cute with my swimsuit. I think I've pretty much got my summer wardrobe updated for the summer

Hope everyone is having a good weekend, we spent most of yesterday moving out of our storage unit and into the shed we had built, we still have a few things to move but most of it is done. I don't hink I was too much help with my bad arm but I can give directions fairly well.

DH wants to go to the movies today and it's raining so that probably isn't a bad idea.

We just had chicken salad on bagel thins with Sun Chips. Yummy

Okay so it isn't cake, but it won't kill our diet either.

Today has been interesting. I slept in which was nice. Then I started looking for airfare for my parents for our trip. We are driving, but they wanted to fly. Okay, southwest was the best rate and has been all along. Even though it has gone up a few bucks they were ready to committ. So I booked their flights down and back (one ways of course). I even asked my mother 4 times if they were sure they wanted to fly down when they could ride with us. Yep, you Father wants to fly. I get both legs booked and Dad comes in and can't believe they are paying $315 for the 2 of them to fly down when they could drive with us Can you cancel? After several minutes on hold I was able to cancel that leg and get a full refund, but it was much more drama than I needed on my day off. I told them they are not allowed to change their minds again They hadn't committed to which day they wanted to fly home until today. We get back into Miam on 7/31 and they were thinking of waiting to fly home on 8/1, but it really didn't make sense to get a hotel for one night when they can catch a 6:15 PM flight out of Orlando. We should have no problem getting off the ship in Miami in the morning and making it to Orlando by 4:15. We check into RPR that day anyway. I think the only thing that I have left to book is one night in Miami prior to the cruise.

Hi DDA, Yesterday was a fun day. I got up early to go take the test to see about working for the Census. I got an 88%!!! I will call them Monday and let them know I am available right away for office work.

After getting more money on a Disney gift card, I met Stephanie for lunch at Paniera Bread. YUM So then we went to Costco and I found some cards for pictures on my camera since I am not taking my computer. I figure I have enough space on the two cards to take 9,000 pictures!!! I couldn't take that many even if I took a picture of doorknobs and windows!!!!!

We weren't ready to go home just yet. So we went to a very nice restaurant and sat out on their patio and had some martinis. Mine was with watermelon and Stephaine's was a Key Lime. Very tasty. Not quite like being on the ship but the sun felt grand. After that, we said our boodbyes and since I had gotten up so early, I went home and took a nap and then was looking at shore excursions.

Im having an issue with my flash drive and wanted to see if anyone had any ideas...When i put it in a computer, it says installing..then the device is ready for use..but when i try to open it, it tells me insert a disk....any ideas?

Is it new? Or does it have pictures on it? If it is new, it sounds like it needs to be formatted. However, you don't want to format it if you have stuff on it that you want to get back. You may have better luck putting it in a different computer to get the pictures off of it.

It doesnt have pictures on it-but i have lesson plans and stuff that i dont want to lose...i have had it for a couple of months and have not had any problems--i tried it on like 5 different computers..

I have the feeling that I'm fighting some kind of virus. I had a horrible headache most of the day and a queasy stomache. I ended up taking a nap even though I wasn't tired and ate some dinner I'm hoping that it will pass, but figured food would move it along in one direction or the other. I have to be at lacrosse the next 2 night come hell or highwater

I finally got my photos from Emma's birthday trip uploaded to Kodak. I've added comments to day 1 & 2 photos and have sent the link to all who've asked in the past. If you don't want to be bothered with them let me know. Or if you want to see them and i don't have you on my list let me know.



I did my taxes this weekend. We are getting a huge refund from the feds and a small one from the state (we owed a lot last year). I still have to review them one more time but it is nice to basically have them done!!!
