Prayers for Timothy. Hope he's home soon.:wizard:

Hope all others are feeling well too!

Emma & I had a very magical trip!!! We had great luck with weather. Lots of magical moments. Sunrise safari was awesome! We had dinner at California Grill on her bday at 5:30 and I didn't know MK was closing early so we got to see the fireworks from up there at 6:30 so that was great. When we saw Baloo & King Louis at AK the character handler came running after me as we were leaving asking us if we could stick around because King Louis wanted to sign Emma's book but he couldn't do it with anyone else around. Emma was very excited to have a very rare autograph. Emma also got to see Thumper & Miss Bunny-SO cute!!! We also saw the Snow Queen-she was very intense! Emma normally won't go near the face characters but had to see her because Joe & Lizzy had never met her. I think Emma's favorite thing was the Sum of All Thrills. She got to do that 4 times. She isn't tall enough to go upside down but loved it! AND....I got my highest score on Toy Story Mania ever!:cool1::laughing:

Welcome home! WTG on the high score :thumbsup2

So happy to hear Timothy is home! Hope he continues to improve quickly!:wizard:

Steph-hope you're on the mend soon too!:wizard:

Deb-hope Hunter makes it through the day!:wizard:

Tia-the last trip was actually pretty nice dispite being sick-it was just all that happened after the trip that made me feel like I wasn't up for this trip. I was hopeful that once I got there I would be OK and sure enough that was the case-especially getting there, seeing Emma's joy with the view of the animals and bunk beds and relaxing for a while in the lounge.

Welcome home! WTG on the high score :thumbsup2
Thanks! I was hoping to break the 150,000 point level to get up to the next animal and got 170,000+. I actually squealed a bit with delight when I saw the score. Poor Emma cried but I was still pretty happy. She got over it.

It's 59 degrees now but we are supossed to get hit with snow Friday night into Saturday morning. The grocery store was overrun & there are trucks everywhere spraying salt water on the roads. The anchorwoman on our local news says to be prepared to be in your home for a few days.

Then I heard that we might get anywhere from 1/2inch to 6 inches.:lmao:

In NY they close schools when there's over 10 inches & not an inch before. Here all the milk & bread are gone from the stores already!:rotfl2:

We have never been here for a "snow storm" so I am interested to see how it is handled. They did have some snow in December & closed the schools but we were in Disney then.

Anne Marie - welcome to the South! Being from PA, it was quite a shock to find out how snow freaks people out!

Here when the word snow is mentioned, the stores are jammed with everyone buying milk and bread. :lmao:

We are supposed to get cold temps and drizzle tonight. People are wondering if the schools will close. Um, hello? Cold temps, not below freezing. And if the temps DO drop below freezing it hasn't been anywhere near freezing this entire week - things won't cool off THAT quickly that the roads will ice. I personally need the schools to NOT close because DS has the audition workshop tomorrow night.

Elizabeth someone posted on the CB that they closed her kids schools last night becsuse they were to get ice today. (she lives in TX)

We got about 1 1/2" of light fluffy snow today.

Hmm. Maybe WAY north? Like in the panhandle? It's not even that cold here right now. It is pouring rain - that's all.

Glynis glad to hear Timothy is home, hope he is feeling 100% soon :wizard:

Bernadette glad you & Emma had a good time!

Stephanie sorry you are still not feeling well

Garys foot/ankle is getter better everyday!

Wow, quiet night for the DDA

Chris and I had a planning meeting for the 8th grade Dance and of course only 2 other parents showed up. I guess it won't be hard to stay under budget if we don't do anything :lmao:

I'm just kind of hanging out, waiting for Kristi and/or Chris to get here. They just finished with family night at the police academy a little bit ago and should be here soon. It's already going to be a long weekend as Kristi has a conference this weekend so will be gone a lot of it and then Chris has to do a fundraiser for the academy from 10-2 on Saturday and needs to study for a big exam on Sunday. I may see if Mom can do the watching on Sunday or maybe Rachel part of Saturday just so Terra and I can get out on our own for a little bit.

Your kids are all adorable, but a couple of the ones of Noah just melted my heart. He reminds me a lot of my boys.

Thank you! Noah melts my heart too, but yesterday, he was very naughty! :rotfl:

Amy - I love the pictures! You all got some great shots.

Thanks, Tia!

The pictures are great. I love the new sig photo -- Noah has changed so much since the last pictures. All the kids are so cute!

Thank you! Noah looks a lot like Alyssa. At this age, Matty was already a "big boy," but Noah still has such a baby face. :goodvibes

Good morning, DDA! Happy Friday! :wave2:

Bernadette, welcome home! Sounds like a great trip!

Stephanie, I hope you are starting to feel better!

I'm relieved to read an improvement report for Timothy and Hunter, too!

Heidi and Theresa, how are you two feeling today?

Anything fun going on this weekend? :)

Good morning. :)

Amy - what beautiful kids you have! Alyssa looks like such the little mommy. :goodvibes: I think we are finally going to go see Avatar this weekend.

Janet - I'm glad Gary's foot is healing!

:wizard: for all the sickies to go away!

Bernadette, welcome home! Sounds like a great trip!

Anything fun going on this weekend? :)

Thanks!

I forgot to mention how much I enjoyed your photos!!!!

I don't see too much fun this weekend. I really need to get the Christmas stuff put away-wasn't fun coming home to that! Then there is the laundry and the torture of putting borders on the photopass photos.

Amy I love your new signature picture & yes Matty does look like Alyssa :goodvibes They are all growing so much!

Good morning!

Last night was so fun! Alan came home from work early so that I could take Jacob to Pack Meeting. I usually take all the kids, but Timothy can't be out much, and definitely not around other kids, so Alan came home. Jacob earned a badge for Webelos, and then all the Scouts made catapults. They turned out really cute, and they worked. Once all the catapults were made, we let them fire Starbursts at each other. The boys were thrilled that they worked. Talk about a fun night! I also got to meet a new boy who will be in my den. He's never been in Scouts before, but all the kids on the block have talked him into it. He was there last night, and it was great to see how all the boys made him feel welcome. I went from 2 boys in October to 10 boys as of last night.

Katie's play opens tonight. She's very excited. They went through the play twice at rehearsal last night, and she can't wait for the family to come see it. Alan will go tonight with some of the kids, and I'll go tomorrow night with the rest of them.

Other than that, nothing much is going on here. We'll stay in for most of the weekend, and try to get Timothy over all this nastiness! I'm hopeful that Mary won't be worse today, with antibiotics in her, so I'm anticipating a sickness free weekend.
