I'm home again safe and sound.

I just wrote the same thing before I started reading posts! Glad you are home to enjoy Christmas with your family. Yay for the upcoming trip!

So. The kids slept. I wrapped. Until I ran out of tape. Thankfully I only have 3 more things to wrap, but they, of course, are the 3 BIGGEST things that I have to wrap. Band Hero for Nicholas, an armoire for Alyssa's AG doll's clothes, and another thing. I'll get some tape tomorrow, since I have to go to the grocery store for my ham and a few other odds and ends.

Vicki - I'm glad you are home safe and sound. Enjoy the togetherness of you, Chuck and the girls.

DS steals my tape. Then he gets mad when I demand to have it back.

Vicki & Anne Marie - Glad you all made it home safely!

Since it's 12:36, I'm going to post my "Good morning" now! I've got to get up in the morning and finish my shopping, then come home and wrap. After that, I'll finish up some candies and make my pies. And, that my friends, is all she wrote on my cooking this year! Woohoo! Plus, my mommy is so good to me that she found the seedless rye bread in the bakery and has them saving us a loaf tomorrow so that I can eat the rye bread and dill dip that I love to much! Now it my pralines will work out so that a few without pecans come out and I'll be set!

In light of the way things are looking for tomorrow, I want to make sure and get out a "VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE" to you all! I hope your days/nights are great and that Santa has lots of extra joy to bring to you all.

We ditched our land line a year and a half ago and have been very happy with our decision. What kind of phone did you get?

I'm considering taking the kids to Midnight Mass. It could either be really enjoyable or a big mistake. If I can get them to nap a bit later this afternoon or evening it would be better. Tomorrow they go to their dad's at 4, so if they are cranky then, I don't care.

Hope everyone is having a good day..ive been up at 6 even though i am off today. I got all of the cleaning and such done so my mom doesnt have to come home from work and do it..We have family coming for dinner then we go to a firefighters house..my brother works tonight so im going to make him and the guys a batch of cookies

We got Samsung phones, they slide up to open and are camera phones too.
Last night he bought me a pooh cover off eBay.

I am on my way out to do the last minute shopping. I feel that this will be a sad Christmas for me. It will be the first one that the four of us are not together. Katrina is in Chicago with her boyfriend. Becky will be here in the morning and then she is off to spend the afternoon & Christmas dinner with her boyfriend's family.

Becky is in for a disappointment for her gifts as since we are helping her with school, I can't afford the lego set she has her heart set on. It is $300. For that, I could pay for a flight to Florida. As Chuck says, they have to grow up sometime. She is getting a 3 in 1 lego set. She can make a fire engine, helicopter or don't remember the 3rd thing. It should give her many hours of enjoyment but is not the one she wants.

Gotta go get the groceries and stocking stuffers.
