Thanks for the hugs, everyone. Miles actually handled it better than I thought. Poor Laura has been crying since she came home and found out. I am feeling pretty wiped out. I know that it will eventually hurt less, but Laura hasn't really been through this before.

My flights are now purchased. We fly out at 6:00am on 2/24 and arrive at Disney by 11:41am. We are hoping to have time to get to Welcome Home Wednesday. We will stay in a DVC studio for Wednesday & Thursday night. We are probably pipe dreaming but I'm hoping to get AKL Concierage and then do the Sunrise Safari.

We'll drive to my brothers in Tampa on Friday and stay until Sunday afternoon. We'll do some exploring in Orlando and Tampa since we'll have a rental. It will give us a chance to get to the Gulf as well. Chuck has never gotten to see anthing other than the airport to WDW in Florida.

We'll then stay at Saratoga Springs until Sunday 3/7. Our flight leaves at 11:30 or so. We'll get back into Green Bay around 2:30 which will get us back to Iron Mountain by 5pm.

Hope you can get AKL CL! You guys could really use this trip! Safari was awesome! I've got just a "regular" AKL CL room booked for Jan and will take Emma on the safari for her actual birthday!

Well, I managed to survive a crazy house-full of 6 and 7yo girls tonight, plus a handful of siblings. Luckily, about 5 parents stayed as well, too bad they hung back most of the time and just watched. Probably could have used a little more corralling during the caroling part.

Now I'm ready for some sleep! Wish Terra was on board with that, but it shouldn't be too long. She's just got to soak in a little time with no one else around. Tomorrow is dance day, but luckily no Scouts in the middle as well. Then I've got to work 5:30 to midnight. That's when the sleep will really look good!

Thanks so much for all the kind words yesterday. Those really helped!

Thanks also to Elin and Kristine for the Christmas cards. I still haven't mailed mine out. I usually make cards every year, but I think I'm going to have to concede that point this year and go buy some (and quickly).

I am sooooo far behind on everything, and I don't even have ideas for most of my gift list. Fortunately, it's a pretty short list. We stopped exchanging with all of dh's family and with my brother and his family a few years ago. I don't have any close cousins or other relatives. So, I just have my immediate family and Mom and Dad.

Vicki, it sounds like a great trip! I would love to do the safari some day, so I hope you get to do that.

Beth -- I'm so sorry about Blackberry. It's so hard losing a member of your family. I hope the pain eases and you can all celebrate the time you had with Blackberry soon.

I see SW has delayed the release of their next round of fares until tomorrow. That's unfortunate.

I also see that UPS is having some sort of "internal issue" (their words, not mine) with a package I have in transit. I've never seen that on tracking before. I wonder what that means, exactly? It's T-shirts, for crying out loud. How difficult is it to bring me a box of T-shirts?
