MVMCP was great last night. Crowds were light, and Alyssa and Matty were ecstatic to walk right on Goofy's Barnstormer (the CMs let them ride again without making them get off :goodvibes ). That was our only ride of the night, since we spent most of the evening visiting characters: Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella and Prince Charming, Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip, Tink, Rosetta, and Silvermist (a 5 minute wait for the fairies!), Snow White and her Prince, and Belle and Beast. We watched the second parade, and Matty literally fell asleep on my lap halfway through. Noah and Alyssa didn't fall sleep until the ride back to the Boardwalk, after midnight!

Crowds at HS are light today, even with our late start. Noah is napping, and we're headed back in a bit to Fastpass Toy Story Mania and see the Osbourne lights.
Sounds so fun!

Im home, I got a zpaxk. they have not called to say if it is strep yet. When the dr was touching my lymp nodes on my neck right below my jaw I almost hit him. They are very sore. Jeff took the girls to Olivias Daisy troop meeting.
:wizard:Hope the drugs kick in quick! Is Olivia feeling better?

I had no cavities :cool1: Let's celebrate the small victories. This afternoon I took Colby and Hunter to get their new orthodics so hopefully they will work perfectly and we'll have that behind us too. I also got us tickets to go to the viewing party for Extreme Makeover Home Edition. We will get to meet the family and watch the show with hundreds of other people.
:woohoo:Yay for no cavities! How cool that you get to go to the viewing party! When will it be aired?

Chuck just called. He got the Mickey Monitor and was seeing the Christmas pictures at Disney. He wants me to check out whether we could throw together a very cheap 3-4 day trip during the week. I would love to be able to do this but we'll have to see if the budget can support it. I miss Disney so much!!!!!!!
:wizard:Hope you can work it out!

I am finally getting the chance to sit down. Work is CRAZY since its report card week. I got home and have been running around, up and down 2 flights of stairs for the last 2 hours--we got new carpets in the house and im trying to get my room back in order--the chaos is driving me nuts! I decided to take a break to eat and check in with you all!
Hope you get yourself all settled back in!

I finally got that file sent home to me in a format I can open! Don't know why I didn't think of this earlier!!! I saved it in an older format! Now I can print out my Dec color coded matrix of fun and get the rest of my May Adr's made!!!:surfweb:

Kristine and Jennifer - I hope you both get feeling better soon.

After 3 hours of shopping, I finally found coordinating clothes for us all. I bought a few different things, some of which will have to go back. I'll do that after my eye appt in the morning.

Sleep tight.

The Extreme Makeover Home Edition episode will be airing on November 29th. It should be fun.

Nick has one heck of a cold. He sounds awful. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

I hope Nick is feeling better tomorrow too!

The power of Facebook is amazing. I just saw a picture of my 8th grade crush. And no, I didn't friend him. I was looking through those that graduated from high school the year I would have if we hadn't moved in 8th grade. Some of these kids were my closest friends for many years before we moved to the U.P. I did send a friend request to a guy whose family were close family friends. His older sister babysat, I was friends with his sister, etc. My mom kept in touch with his parents until they passed away.

neat.

I miss Chuck! It's my birthday and I'm sitting in an apartment all by myself. What was I thinking when I took this job? Don't get me wrong, I love the job but I sure miss Chuck.

Anne Marie apparently they have colored the Dole whips for the holidays.

Dole whip is colored red and green for Christmas time. Green is pineapple, red is vanilla. Still tastes great!

I got an email from one of my early December WDW trip friends last night. This is my first online friend I was brave enough to meet 13 years ago. She is also the friend I always rent my DVC points from.

I am devastated right now, but my grief cannot match hers. Her DH died while out biking with friends yesterday. He was only 45 and in good health. He and Sandy have 4 children, 3 in college and one a senior in HS. It is beyond my ability to comprehend right now.

OMG. Your note stopped my browsing cold. I'm so sorry to read this. I don't know what to say. I'm so, so sorry.:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

I posted this on FB & I hope you all do not mind that I post it here as well. I wrote this shortly after my mom passed away. I am posting this today in memory of her birthday.

MOM
I never imagined the day would come,
when you would no longer be here
to help us through the years.
You were there to dry the tears,
keep away our fears & keep us full of cheer.
Your arms were always open for hugs,
your heart always open for love.
Your smile would brighten the room,
your laughter would warm our hearts.
Your lovely blue eyes had seen so many things,
but they always shone brightly for your family.
The love that you gave us was so precious & dear,
how could we know the end was so near?
Our hearts ache for you, our pain still fresh.
You are etched in our memories,
you we will never forget.
You gave our children the best love
they will ever know.
A loving grandmother,
to be remembered as they grow.
The day you left us, part of us left to.
How do we go on, what do we do?
We try & stay strong, we try to make it through.
But everyday without you just seems so blue.
You were the light in our lives,
that has now been dimmed.
Life feels so unfair, now where do we begin?
We miss you so much, we want you here.
We are selfish, we want you near.
We know you are watching, helping in some way.
Helping us get through each new day.
Please know that you were loved & always will be.
Forever in our hearts.....
Never forgotten.......
Our mother our friend.

Happy Birthday Mom, I love you & miss you!

Janet, that is beautiful. When I read it on FB I didn't know you wrote it. You are very talented. Just beautiful.:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

Thanks for the birthday wishes. My coworkers made snacks for all of us. They are taking me to lunch tomorrow with our secretary whose birthday was last week. I have gotten lots of birthday wishes. Chuck & the girls ordered my negative/slide to digital converter. It was delivered on Saturday to the post office and it was too late for me to get it. I am looking forward to getting home and trying it out.

Happy Birthday Vicki! I posted on FB. So glad your having a great day.

Well, after staying up to administer stitches to a mouse's eyeball, I think I'm off to bed. Terra's Tutter stuffed animal met up with Bella (Kristi's dog) tonight and suffered a torn eyeball. The eyes are apparently just a piece of fabric over a plastic eyeball. Luckily, the plastic wasn't pierced, just the fabric torn. I was able to sew the ribs back together to Terra's satisfaction so all is well now. It was a couple of hours of concern though as Tutter is about as alive as any stuffed animal could be. Phil voices him when they play and Tutter has even been known to talk to Terra (and me, much to my personal dismay) on the phone when we're out of town. Phil's voice is an uncanny resemblance and he does it so well, it's hard to remember that Tutter isn't real sometimes, even for me. Luckily, though, all is as it should be now. Terra waited up for me to finish sewing him up and is now crashed out on the playroom floor. Guess I get to carry her up the stairs. When did she get so big that I can barely do that anymore?

Night all!

Vicki - I'm glad you had a good birthday. I'm sorry you had to spend it away with Chuck, though. Good luck on working out a quick Christmas trip!

:hug:I can only imagine. I know that I wouldn't be able to spend so much time away from my hubby. Then again Colby's birthday is today and Chris' is tomorrow and I have to work both nights which means I'll barely see either of them. Why is it that work gets in the way :confused3 I will confess that I did wake Colby up when I got up at 4 am and wished him a happy birthday :goodvibes

Nick feels a bit warms so I'm not sure if he'll attempt school today or not :confused3
