Today was a long, but very nice day. We went to the race. The weather was perfect and we had a lot of fun. Hunter really enjoyed every aspect of it and his driver came in second Nick took care of Colby for the entire day (and as it turns out Nick has the sore throat, headache, stuffy nose thing that's going around) I guess they both took a nap at one point SIL was next door in case they needed her, but the did very well on their own. It's hard to believe that Nick will be 14 in just a few days.

Sorry to hear that so many of our kiddos are under the weather.
Hopefully they will all feel better soon.

Well the cheerleading outfit is done, I just hope it fits, I had her try on a trial one first and I made this one a little bit bigger. She also has a headband with a bow, and socks with bows, I plan on taking pictures of them together in their uniforms.

My gimpy eye is giving me problems again. It is itchy and red. Guess I will start back on the eye drops and see how it goes.

Both my boys are home today complaining of about their stomachs. I really hope it passes quickly!

Thanks! I decided to go ahead and take the rest of the oral antibiotics I have, too. If that doesn't work I guess I'll go BACK to the eye Dr.

I think they are still running auditions through today, so I would imagine it will be tomorrow or Wednesday before they announce the cast. Obviously the sooner the better! He will be disappointed if he doesn't get a part, but at least the waiting will be over!

Good morning.

My parents just left. It's nice having them visit but it will be nice to get my 'structure' back!

I took Alyssa to the doctor yesterday. She has strep and is still running a fever so I kept her home today. Hopefully the rest of us won't catch it!

I am doing something I have not done in a long time, I a dressing up on Halloween & going out! The boys will not be trick or treating anymore & will be doing stuff with friends. Halloween is on a Saturday this year so I figured I might as well go out & have some fun instead of sitting at home. Gary is actually going to dress up as well I ordered my costume along with a few accessories, hopefully it will be here this week. This is what I ordered, I do hope it fits right. I would like to find a little black drawstring type pouch purse, so I am not lugging my regular purse around. I just need one big enough to hold money, keys, ect. I also need to get some shoes, I am thinking black pumps.

We are still looking for Gary, he wants something to go along with what I am wearing. We have seen a lot that we both like, but are not willing to pay $80 - $100

The last time we both dressed up was in 2000 & that was going to our 1st MNSSHP

Mo is still running a fever and having a hard time breathing. Lu is still miserable, stuffy & cranky. Em did go back to school today but is still coughing from all the junk dripping into her throat. Fun, fun!!!

On the upside, I get my haircut tonight!! It's long overdue!
