Thanks for all the birthday wishes for Riley. My baby is 13 today

He is slowly healing, walking is still a little slow for him & his mouth is still swollen some. I talked to the Dr. & if needed he will write me a note to let Riley out of gym. We will see how he is doing Monday.

My toe is doing better, still tender & purple lol

I've got to get packing for my trip in two weeks!

Got my airfare for December. Yes, I have to pay $30.00 for my bags, so it will bring my total RT airfare for December to $157.00 And that is with choosing my seat. I don't think that is too bad. Plus, I'll be 30 minutes from the airport. Yes, I will have to get up at o'dark 30 to return home, but I will have DME take me to the airport. And when I arrive home I'll only have a 30 minute drive home. I feel like I'm cheating on SW, but when AirTran added a non-stop from my local airport to MCO, it is just too convienent to ignore.

Well, I've got to drop off my DGD's contacts to her. Then I'm going to go visit my younger two grandkids.

Anne Marie and Bernadette - I got through all of your pictures today and really enjoyed looking at them. Thanks for sharing. It seems you had some nasty weather. I only remember one late afternoon downpour that lasted for a few hours. Last year we had rain almost every day.

Anne Marie - how did your kids like Ohana's for dinner? We've been for breakfast but not dinner. Maybe we'll try that in January. I see Daniel has been studying his HM book.

Well Daniel & Sophie would not eat anything there. We had to order a kids meal that they get from Kona & they still charged me an adult meal for Daniel. Katie liked it & Dana & I loved it..

The Magic Meet cruise is Thursday July 22 to Monday July 26, 2010. It is really going to be such a fun time!!!!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes for Brandon and the comments on the cake.

I do need to clarify, it's not our first cake, it's the first time we used fondant. My mom was a cake decorator and even gave lessons, she taught me when I was a teenager, we did several wedding cakes together over the years, after she died I stopped doing cakes all together and have only done a couple for Brandon's birthday's since.

This one was a group effort, even my DD's boyfriend got involved making the Yoshi eggs for the bottom border. Brandon is thrilled with it, he made me feel wonderful when he told me the I was the best MawMaw a kid could ever have. It made it all worthwhile.
