We've had an eventful day so far: Here's my facebook message:
PSA for the day.....when more than one person offers to call 911, it's time to call it in. If you are one of those offering DO IT!! even if they keep saying don't call.

and a response to Elin:

a lady in the parking lot of our grocery store had a diabetic episode...at 10 minutes I ignored the lady that was with her and called 911. Which I am glad I did, it took them a couple of more minutes to get there. I wish I had done it earlier.

This was after a very successful morning taking pics:

Did I miss that Terry was interested in the Backstage Magic Tour? I have done it. LOVED it!

I think we have some name confusion going on. There are two different things with similar names.

One at WDW that is about 7 hours long. It is the Backstage Magic tour, it takes you behind the scenes, in costuming, Utilidors, to the parks and lets you see things that cast members typically only see. It is a really neat tour and I highly recommend it. Elin this is what I suspect you have done.

The other is an Adventure by Disney trip that is 6 days and 5 nights in Hollywood and Disneyland. It is called Backstage Magic. It takes you to Jim Henson's workshop normally closed to the public, Walt's Apt on Main street in Disneyland, maybe the Carrolwood Pacific railroad club if it is open, Disney Soda fountain only for the group, El Capitan Theater, Disney Imagineering and much more. Elin if you have done this I missed it and am jealous. This is what the trip reports referred to

Both are really neat things and would be tons of fun for any Disney lover.

Thanks, Tia! Sounds like things have been wild at your house! Quiet is good. ;)

That it was and that it is. We had 12 people sleeping here 2 nights and 13 the other night. 15 people to Six Flags from 11am to 8pm Friday night. 15 people to Grant's Farm from noon to 4:30pm on Saturday. Both days being pretty hot. 20 people over for dinner last night and then 19 to Ted Drewes last night. Finally, 14 here for breakfast and general craziness this morning before they finally left around noon. In the middle of all of that this morning, my wallet went missing and I was about to give up hope. I went up to find what Phil did with his paycheck yesterday morning and happened to find my wallet in between the edges of the two bed nowhere near where I would have ever though it would be.

Now, I'm just finding myself in need of some cake or pie and some coffee. Just haven't quite figured out where those things are supposed to come from. Maybe I need to go do some baking....

Oh man, now you have me needing to go back and read the reports you posted. That and I REALLY want to do that trip! :upsidedow

Tia, that sounds exhausting! I am glad you found your wallet!!

I couldn't get the desktop to work this morning - I think that stress combined with being tired from the trip has rendered me pretty much useless for the rest of the day. :rotfl:

Glynis,
:wizard: That everyone is better for school.

Elizabeth,
Welcome home. It was great to see you too.

Elizabeth - I am glad you got some nice new jewelry on your trip! ;)

Glynis - sickies, be gone!

Thanks for the clarification, Becky. It is the WDW Backstage Magic Tour I have done. I could be persuaded to look into the DL one in 23 months, though. :thumbsup2 :rolleyes1

I like that theory. I may need to use it....a lot!

Glynis - Hope everyone is better ASAP and ready for the first day of school. Good luck making it to there! Then it's time to celebrate. :)

AirTran question... If I have two coupons I should book each way separately for a flight, right?

Elizabeth welcome back!

Glynis hope everyone is feeling well soon :wizard:

Tia glad you have a little time to relax now!

I figured you would appreciate this email I got from Kathrin this afternoon. It has been a helluva couple of weeks for me and she has asked Bob and I to do some things that require quite a bit of time to accomplish. I got a little short with her on the phone on Friday and she talked to Bob yesterday and today since she knew I was upset.

Now, I know that she picked her timing very well, and knew just want to say. But... occasionally getting something like this is very nice.
