Hi, all! I actually did some cleaning today. Maybe I'll try that again tomorrow, and the next day and the next day and...

I also did a couple of designs just for a little fun time.

Now I need to get off of the computer again. Dh has a work call tonight, and he'll need the computer.

Have a good night, DDA!

Tomorrow is a little busy, but I'll be back Monday.

Kristine - Bob and I decided to use another "Bob" for transportation again this trip. :sunny:ray was so wonderful getting the girls to us last Christmas Eve that we decided to book with them again. Thanks again for their name. We will use the free grocery stop too and not have to ship anything to WDW this time!

This reminds me that I need to thank Kristine for the recommendation to try them! They were great in May and again this last trip when we had Roger. My DH really liked the service!:thumbsup2 Today he said something about "when we go to Disney next year". I guess he really liked that fishing trip!

We went to see Ponyo today. It was BEAUTIFUL!!!! Like all Miyazaki movies it is a bit "odd" but we all really enjoyed it. Some of my coworkers want to see it so I'm sure I'll see it again in the theater and I'm sure the kids will want it on DVD.

Hi DDA,

I have a little dilemma. Should I upgrade to the newer iPhone so I can do video and zoom and have 32mg of space or should I buy one of those $399.00notebooks?

I'm thinking if I have the newer phone I will upload my pictures to FB. I always have good intentions of doing a detailed trip report. Haven't done one ever. So the whole thought of buying the notebook so I could type up a trip report sounds good, but will I do it?

I know I will put the iPhone to good use. I love my iPhone. It sleeps next to me. It is small and I carry it everywhere. It is fast and gives me the internet everywhere. But typing more than a few sentences at a time is difficult.

What to do. What to do.:confused3:confused3:confused3

Please note the line in bold ----- That says it all. :lmao:

How many times have we started a trip report on the plane???????? :rotfl:

I had a blast reconnecting with a friend I've known forever tonight...it was so good to go out and not have to worry about anything and talk about stuff nobody else would laugh about. She has always been in Colorado but she's hard to find....and I never thought to go up to her mom and say "where's Rianda?":rotfl2: (Rianda has had a couple of breakdowns where she has spent time hospitalized and not speaking to anyone...I never know when one's coming...though she hasn't had one in a long time it sounds like)>

good to hear you had a fun mental health night

I love my laptop and take in whenever we travel.....I would be lost without it. But, I don't have an Iphone....so hard to compare. I will admit that I just ordered the brand new Blackberry. I am looking forward to it!!
Thanks Kristine,
I can't tell you how many times I have dragged my laptop to Disney and wrote a couple/ few sentences. Maybe one or two posts. The one and only time I used my laptop all the time was in Hilton Head.

I know if I don't have it I'm going to miss it. But with the iPhone, I can even check-in on Southwest. Terry teases me endlessly about my connection to my phone, but I am naked without it!! :lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc

But I need a bigger battery. I think the newer one lasts longer.

You do love your iPhone. ;)

Will you use the small notebook for anything else besides the trip report? Your iPhone works fine, if I remember correctly, other than when the user had trouble typing or seeing. ;)

I think I would be tempted to hold off on another phone purchase and go with the notebook. It would be easy to travel with and you can see what you are doing on that keyboard. Just sayin' ... :rolleyes1

Hey, I resemble that remark! And I had my glasses too. Good gosh, if I had my contacts in, it would have been really funny. User error indeed.:rotfl::rotfl:

Would I use it, or would I colapse on the bed with barely energy to wash my face??:):)

I have a question for you DVC owners. I know that owners staying on points have free internet access in the villas. Do you think that also applies to someone like me who is staying on points rented from a DVC owner? Or is it handled another way? Thanks!
It is my understanding, that so long as you are using points and not cash, you get the free access.

And so the hurricanes start. They must know I'm on my way.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I think I've made a terrible mistake. :sad2::sad2:

Seems the Night of Joy will be attended by bus loads of teens. Christian Pop. Christian Rock. Alternative Christian Rock. Christian Hip-Hop. Christian Hard Rock. Yikes. :scared1::scared1: Think 3 grannies vs. 20,000 screaming teens trying to watch a concert. What was I thinking?????:rolleyes:

So anyway, what should we do on Saturday? Yes, I'm cheating on Terry and going to Disney with my other friends C and D. D has never been. So anything we do will be new to her. We are going to do MNSSHP on Friday. We are going to look at Princess Diana's dresses on Monday. Maybe we should do Cirque????:flower3::flower3:

Wow am I so glad we haven't already purchased tickets! I'd be dead meat.

Wow thats great they he liked it so much that he knows you will go again!

My kids want to see Ponyo too..maybe we'll go today..I am so out of it I didn't know it was playing yet.

It has been a busy week. The day after we got back from Disney my BIL & his family & my MIL all came to stay for the week. They just left yesterday. The kids (6 total including mine) all giggled, laughed & played the whole time. They get along so well. We let them stay up super late to watch movies. We took them all to the pool, planetarium, out to eat, & to the mall. It was so nice to have them here to chat with. Now it's time to get ready for back to school. All 3 kids have oriientation next week & I need to get the supply list & schedules...

There was no time to really enjoy coming home from Disney & I haven't unpacked all the goodies we bought. I have to go through that stuff today. Sophie did the pick a pearl in Japan & they all bought some pins with their money. Oh & I have to put the borders on photopass...by the way this looks like the last time we will be using photopass. There were not many photographers around & now with the price increase I do not think we will do it again.

Have a nice Sunday.

Well I do not have a trip report but here are a few observations.

Boardwalk Inn - Loved it. Concierge staff was nice. Rooms were beautiful. Performers on the BW was so much fun to watch. Bus service (only used to go to MK one day) was fast & BW is the first stop so we always had a seat. Boat to HS was good too BW is 1st stop so again we had a seat. Would stay there again.

Crowds - We were at the parks at rope drop & used FP so we did everything we wanted to & more. However the crowds did get to us at times. If it wasn't for school schedules I would not go in July.

Our birthday - We wore our birthday buttons & every CM wished us Happy Birthday! The piano man on man street even sang to us. We received candy & a banner in our room too. We had cupcakes given to us at Chef Mickeys, Ohana, & Liberty Tree Tavern. It was like being a kid again.

Best & Worst Restaurant - The best service & food was at Prime Time. We had a great server, Cousin Robert who was very funny. He tried to feed Katie a fork full of green beans, she was hyseterical laughing. The food was fresh & yummy....we love PT.
Worst was Raglan Road. This was our first meal of the trip. Our server was great but the food was terrible. Portions were small & the price was huge. Not worth it for us.

CM's - I have read on the DIS that some people think the CM's are not as friendly. However we only encountered CM's that were helpful, friendly, & Disney like. We chatted with many CM's & a few times got to see how they are treated by "guests". We saw one exchange at the GR in MK. I felt so bad for the CM & know they have to put up with alot.

Tour Groups - We got there on the tail end of the TG's so when we did see someone with a little flag we went the other way. One morning when Dana was going to TSM to get FP's, he noticed the woman next time him getting multiple FP's. He said what looked to be as much as 50 tickets or so. Thankfully he was not behind her.

We had a wonderful time. :lovestruc

Good Morning

I've started packing the kids stuff to bring to my parent's house. I'm not sending much as they can come home if they need more and mom will wash anyway.

We are sticking odds and ends in our luggage as we go along. I think we might want to stick our rain jackets in the luggage since there are now 4 TDs on the horizon :sad2: We're just hoping to miss the bulk of it. Cancun in the rain sounds like much less fun.

Stephanie - sounds like you are getting a new phone! ;) And... I vote for Cirque!

Anne Marie - I am glad you all had such a good time. :goodvibes I am concerned about your Raglan Road experience, though. We love that place and have never had disappointing food or too little of it there.

Deb - I hope you and Chris have perfect weather for your getaway.
