Hi everyone,,, I am here,,,Janet, yes the gin & tonic is doing good for me......:lmao:

Hope everyone had a good weekend. stephanie is doing good too. She has been super busy and has been stressing a little with work, but she has been holding her own. I have been stressing too.

We have lunch every day and have lots of fun talking about the Magic Meet, our trip in Dec and the big cruise next year.

Magic Meet sounds like it will be a great break for you guys during the busy time. It's great that you're able to get away together for lunch though. That would be one of my favorite parts of being in your situation.

Good morning. :)

Ugh. Monday. And I didn't sleep well. Nicholas starts football camp this week. 5-7:30. I'm leaving work 2 hours early every day in order to get him picked up and fed beforehand. He would be starving if he had to wait until 7:30 for dinner.

Hope Nicholas enjoys football camp and that the temps stay decent. Good luck making it through the craziness of the week.

Good morning!

One week from tomorrow we will be heading to Disney!:cool1:

Looks like rain here so it might be a good day to start packing & making shirts.

Woohoo!!! What a reward for all your unpacking, painting, etc.

Oh crud, I can't find my Chef Mickeys confirm #. (I am so disorganized!) I have been hung up 3 times from Disney dining trying to get the #.

Good morning, DDA!

It looks like a blessedly slow day around here today. Nothing much going, nothing much planned, and mom's already said she's fixing dinner since I did all of the weekend stuff. :woohoo: Just a little laundry, quick empty of the dishwasher, maybe a trip to the library and the rest of the day is easy peasy. Hopefully, that means I'll get a few more folders of photos organized today. Better yet, I'm in the mood for some Disney planning! Maybe I'll start getting things worked out for Terra's birthday trip.

Ok cool, got it!! I also added Raglan Road to our arrival night. We are staying at the Hilton in DTD for the 1st night. The plan is to do DTD while we are there & get that out of the way...I don't like to be in DTD when I could be in a park & since we don't get out tickets until the next day this will work out great.

Ok off to make shirts.

Glad you found it, Anne Marie! I've been wanting to try Raglan Road too, but Terra really wants to do T-Rex so it may have to wait. I like DTD, but not to give up more than one afternoon or evening in the parks.

ugh thsi weather!! It was gorgeous and sunny out when i was running errands, came hme and went by the pool--and tis cloudy and about to rain!

Well, I just spent too much time downloading ringtones for my new phone. Oops! At least I didn't have anything I was supposed to be doing. I did find a cool site though for free tones. It is myxer.com. There were a lot of good Disney tones and I found a lot of good park music ones. The only cost is the text and download to your phone if you pay per use.

Anne Marie - Glad you got the confirmation #! What are your dates? I think I have pretty much memorized my matrix, even though it is at home today.

Tia - Glad you have some time to yourself today!

Jen - We have rain today, too. We got a DVD at the library of vintage Sesame Street episodes, so we're watching that. :rotfl:

The meal did look really good (even though we are non-fish eaters). I really need to come up with new meal ideas.

Have you tried the new pretzel rolls at Wegmans? They are the ones made by Wegmans not pre-packaged rolls. Ours are with the bulk rolls over near the bagels. They are really good and remind me a bit of the pretzel bread at WDW (except for the shape).

I haven't tried them yet, but I saw them and wondered if they were anything like the pretzel bread at Le Cellier! Made me (almost) want to make a batch of their Cheese Soup!

Yes, and thank you for showing me that it will be fun when we get there!

You are welcome! I can only wish for all of you with little ones, a future full of fun times with them as adults. It is a glorious way to have fun!

I hope you put your day to good use. Where has this month gone already?!?

I think "most" men get better looking with age, actually. That is not always the case with women, have you noticed??

Kristin and her friends invited me to tag along to the concert but I respectfully declined. I would not enjoy it nearly as much as they will and I am afraid I would put a damper on their excitement.

I agree that myxer is a good site but Verizon doesn't like it at all. I can't get anything to work through that site no matter what I try.

I got to wave at Tammi and the kids and herBob on my way out of work tonight! :wave2:

Off to work on compositions again. Have good evenings, everyone! :goodvibes

Neither could I but I haven't tried in about a year or so. I really liked some of the ones that had there.

So I thought we were going to the Cape today but I got my dates wrong. We are going tomorrow and Wednesday night. I really need to go to the office for at least 1/2 day Thursday so I'm hoping my SIL will lend me her car and then DH can drive her home-close to my office. I'm sure we'll work something out.

I still haven't even packed for tomorrow yet but it shouldn't take long to throw a few things in a bag-the kids have their stuff picked out.

I made Lizzy & Emma tunics this afternoon for the beach and need to go finish one for my great niece-I just have to add the sleeves so it won't take long-better go get that done....

Bernadette,
I got your envelope today. Thank you. I will use your pass first & hopefully that will work.
Have fun at the Cape! Which town are you going to? I love Cape Cod!!!
Last time we stayed there we were in Chatham.:goodvibes

Now that would be yummy! I'll have to keep an eye out for similar bread around here.

Neither could I but I haven't tried in about a year or so. I really liked some of the ones that had there.

Have a good time! I hope the weather is beach-worthy.

After dinner tonight we headed to the library. Terra had finished her reading club sheet so she got her third set of "prizes". Unfortunately, the volunteer didn't much know what she was doing and only gave her part of them. Luckily, I had seen a girl get a book the last time we were there and asked the librarian at checkout. She gave us the choices of books and also a set of passes to the children's museum that we should have gotten. Terra ended up choosing what turned out to be a graphic novel called Babymouse: rock star. It looked really cute and almost 100 pages long. She read it from the front desk of the library to the car, put it down long enough to buckle her seatbelt, the whole car ride to Redbox and home and into the house. It must have been good as she just came in and said she finished it. Guess I need to start searching out more chapter books for her as she suddenly seems ready. Any suggestions for girls her age, yet not too "girly"?

I made 5 shirts, but what an ordeal.:headache: My printer wouldn't work..Hours later of trying everything it finally worked. I burnt the 1st first shirt because the iron was too hot so I have to go back to AC Moore to get another shirt. Now my camera will not load pictures into the pc so I have been futzing with that all evening with no luck. Technology & I do not go together today. Thankfully I have 6 sets of shirts for the kids from previous trips so I only made ones for our birthday. The rest of the time we will just wear whatever.

Hope you all enjoyed your day.
