DDA Chapter 22

Good morning....Well, it was this morning when I started this but, life got in the way.

We got back early yesterday morning from our camping trip. We had a great time but boy is it exhausting. We unloaded, put away most of the stuff, showered and then crashed. I managed to sprain my ankle Friday morning so it felt good to get off it for a while!!

And boy am I glad that we had that weekend away. As of right now, my sister has signed the kids over willingly to me. I am sure she honestly didn't have much choice but nonetheless, I have them. Please continue the good thoughts as it is going to be a huge adjustment for all of us as we sort through all of this.

Robyn.
I hope your ankle heals fast. for taking on your sisters kids. Good luck getting every one setteled. I hope the mom of your daycare kids gets a job and/or other daycare kids come in.

Oh my goodness, my sister and I were just out shopping and we were doing our typical back and forth (now to an outsider they would think we are arguing, but were not). An employee of the store asked if we needed a referee and I jokingly said yes, she asked Mother, Daughter?

Now I know I am looking a bit older, but damn, :scared1: we both stopped turned and looked at each other like. Luckily my sisters filter worked faster then her mouth (usually it doesn't :rolleyes1) and she turned and said no sisters.

For the record I am 42 she is 40, and nobody believes we are sisters, but mother daughter??? :confused3

Robyn welcome home, glad you had a nice time, sorry about your ankle.

So glad that your sister has signed the kids over to you. Plenty of pixiedust: pixiedust: as everyone adjust.

Congratulations...I think?:confused3 I hope you can make an easy adjustment.

Chris called me at 3 PM and said that his college friend is in town. He is coming over for dinner  The boys and I started power cleaning and my SIL, neice and nephew all came over for about an hour. My house looks amazing. I told SIL we'll power clean her house tomorrow :goodvibes

Hey guys! I hope you know I meant ours was the best table because we had the best people at it (but thanks for the compliments on the table location).
We got a little wet at Hershey but it wasn't too bad - Dave and Nancy hung out with us for the morning at the park too. Becky - an HYP meet some time would be fun! DH was not into the idea of a Magic Meets cruise and he loves cruises so I don't know if I would want to go on one without him. Plus, DD and I are taking a solo trip to WDW in October so the next vacation will need to be a family one. You guys should go if you can! Mary (Maroo) already booked a cabin - though she is booked on a few cruises and is still deciding.

Thanks for the welcome!

It was the best table because of the location AND the group of us having fun together!!! :goodvibes

prayers answered and prayers will continue!!

so I must look like an easy mark....the band kids found a kitten IN the school and they got me to agree to let it come live here while the look for it's owner. I am pretty sure it's probably staying but:rolleyes1

Theresa - I am glad I made you smile this morning. Another animal?!?! Enjoy! :goodvibes

Robyn - :grouphug:  :grouphug: Good luck, sweetie!

Heidi - Out of curiosity... which of you was the Mom? No... never mind... don't tell me. ;)

Deb - How nice to have a clean house and company! :teeth:

I just heard from Tammi. They loved Citrico's (their waiter cut up the kids' meat! :rotfl: ) and the heat is not bothering them much at all. :yay:

Another Tammi update: They were dancing the macarena on Main Street. :lovestruc:

Our company has come and gone. It was nice catching up with him. Hopefully we'll see him and maybe his family more often now :goodvibes

This squirrel totally wanted to check out the plastic and metal box on the ground. I guess that is what the squirrel was thinking.

OMG, I am so extremely tired. I was falling asleep at my desk today. I'm off to nite nite land.:goodvibes

Patiently waiting for pictures, Bernadette.
So I was just lurking in a bit of a post disney funk til I read that. Did YOU really just say that????:rotfl: Seriously....did a million loads of laundry this weekend, things are crazy busy at work and the kids all have thier annual check up this week-all different days. It may be a few more days.....

Lizzy was 56 1/2". I would have guessed 60".

We have Tony's booked before MNSSHP but I am not sure if we will keep it.
We went to Tony's on our arrival day. The kids all enjoyed their meals....well....I don't think Emma ate her pizza but Joe & Lizzy ate if for her. I just got a salad because we did the dessert party later. DH got Shrimp scampi and he said it was good-it looked great. I would go again!

:scared1:You don't have time for a sprained ankle!!!!

&:wizard: for your transition to a larger family. Those kids are so lucky to have you!

Does your sister look 10?????

We had our photo taken one night at the Poly and the photographer was awesome! The kids were calling me Mommy but I don't think they called DH by name so the photographer called him "grandpa". DH can't hear a thing so I don't think he heard it.

This squirrel totally wanted to check out the plastic and metal box on the ground. I guess that is what the squirrel was thinking.
Too funny!!!!
