The food is notoriously bad at Sci Fi, but it is a fun place to go. Stick to burgers and fries and you should be fine.

I just showed Bob a list of TS restaurants with places circled that I thought he would like for the October trip. Imagine my surprise when he said, "What about this Sci-Fi Dine In Place?"
Never in a million years would I have thought he would like that place! He said it combines two of his favorite things: 50s sci-fi flicks and the drive-in. Who would have known!?!?!?
So... now I need to know about it since I have never researched it before. I know Elizabeth has gone, as well as Debbie. Anyone have any input?

I agree with Elizabeth. The menu is limited, and the food wasn't great. We went for the atmosphere. Done it, don't need to do it again. The food is notoriously bad at Sci Fi, but it is a fun place to go. Stick to burgers and fries and you should be fine.![]()
BTW, Elizabeth - are her phone numbers still the same?

I'm very glad that we were able to get away and give the kids a chance to adjust and mourn without constant reminders. I've got a mountain of laundry to climb over the next couple of days, but otherwise we are in good shape. Now that the kids activities have ended for the summer I need to adjust to my new work schedule and hopefully pick up a few more nights at the restaurant. I can also start planning next year's vacation extravaganza.I second what most said. It is a lot of fun. I had the salad that involved flank steak and I think bleu chee. It was pretty yummy. Phil had a burger and loved it. The atmosphere is great! Terra can't wait to do that one again.
I think so. My DDA list is pretty old and those are the numbers I use to reach her.
That will be me tomorrow night!Deb - I am glad you all had a good time. Sorry about the mountain of laundry though!
