I know that you said you weren't crafty, but when I wanted my camper bathroom done in disney I found a fabric that I liked and made a shower curtain, cloth cover for the trash can and a cover for the kleenex box. I just wanted a little Disney in our sometimes Disney accomodations.

Deb, you are right about the unflavored gelatin for the hair of synchronized swimmers. Laura and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I am so bad at hair, too!

Tammi, do you have any advice on "ballet" hair? Mo has her recital coming up and I need help!!! I am hoping I can make it work with out resorting to shaving her bald and gluing a bun to her head.

Princess did not nap at school today. I brought her home and she got about a 45 minute nap before we had to go get DS.

I have to take DS to Theater in 10 minutes, then Princess and I have to rush to the grocery store. It was my intention to get groceries when I picked her up from school but the nap thing messed that up.

Beth, I find it mind boggling that you only have 4 pairs of pants. Get thee to the mall!!

I have the shorts, 5 pairs of capris, and 4 pairs of jeans. Then I have pants that are rayon, silk, etc. for dressy stuff. No chinos. I had that one pair that disappeared. Never did figure out where they went. I also have 2 pairs of black wind pants. And sweats, but I only wear those to Target on the weekend.

Oh, come on. It won't be that much if you go to Fantastic Sam's or Super Cuts or whatever. They aren't cutting anything so a cheap salon will do. Scissor procedures warrant a swanky salon. A ballet bun does not.

I am sorry Princess did not nap well.

I am flabbergasted about the sweatpants!!! Joe was mortified by all the people in sweats when we went out shopping on the weekend.

Princess did not nap at school today. I brought her home and she got about a 45 minute nap before we had to go get DS.

I refuse to get dressed "properly" to go to Super Target to buy groceries. There is just no reason to do that. T-shirt, sweatpants, baseball cap. Done.

He vent to da emergency room in the Clinik and vhen he got dar da Norsky doctor looked at Ole and said, "Let's have da finkers and I'll see vhat I can do."

Ole said, "I haven't got da finkers."

"Vhat do you mean, you hafen't got da finkers?" he said. "Lord-it's 2009 and Ive's got microsurgery and all kinds of incredible techniques. I could haff put dem back on and made you like new! Vhy didn't you brink da finkers?"

Most department stores carry Disney bed and bath. I know that I saw Tink trash cans and I 'think' I saw princesses too.

I have 2 pairs of jeans, 1 pair corduroys, 1 pair of blechy pants and a few "work" pants, I have a mystery pair too!!. I have maybe 6 pairs of shorts...4 which are wearable.

and we have to head out shortly for a band concert....cupcakes were baked I didn't have enough tins so I improvised on 6 of them.I ran to Costco for their cupcakes (with coupon it was $11 for 24 HUGE ones) for the birthday party.

I will gladly cut my hair off and donate it to Mo for her ballet bun. Although my Aunt would probably kill me. I am not kidding. So she probably would not kill me but would not be happy that I cut my hair before her wedding. I have like 150 days before I can get a real hair cut.

Lots of gel, and hairspray, a bun hairpiece. But if her hair is so short does she really need the hair piece? Could her hair just be slicked back? Does the ballet teacher have any ideas? I am sure she is not the first child with short hair to take ballet.

Elizabeth I'm going to stand by you on the packing. I also pack way ahead and I have plenty of clothes to do so. I'm not going to count, but I've got shorts, jeans, work pants, dress pants, capris,sweats, workout pants, etc. Of course I have various styles in various sizes as my weight ebbs and flows Heck I still have t-shirts from college and they fit (most of the time)

So this is teacher appreciation week. I've done nothing for the teachers. I think that Hunter and Colby's classes are doing a group gift, I have donated to Hunter's and I will to Colby's. I should come up with something to send in for the parties on Friday morning, the problem is that there are already so many things being brought in that more will probably be overkill.

Where do you get those "stick on" buns? Claires?

Well, they aren't really "stick on", they need to be bobbi pinned. I assume any Walmart, Target, Claires would have them. I haven't really looked. And it might not come AS a bun, but a pony tail. Then I would bun it up.
