Mom's appointment is at 9:30 this morning and the doctor still thinks it is nothing. But with having the Cat Scan she won't need another Mamo in 6 months, she can wait the full year.

Yes, we came down for the week so the kids could start to feel comfortable. Well Daniel & Sophie are more than "comfortable", they do not want to go back to NY! They love their own rooms, they love the parks, & love the other kids as there are so many here. Katie has made progress for sure. She is happy with her big room & big closet. We went to the mall yesterday & she said that the people were so nice in the stores that she couldn't believe it. Where we live in NY you have to hunt down someone to help you but here people seem like they want to help you & are so polite. I was happy that she is trying to find the positive in this. She even found some friends to walk to the school bus with.

We head back Monday & I would rather stay here, but we are still staying in Ny to let the kids finish school. I was having fun here with my new kitchen & own bathroom! I am spoiled now.

I'm so glad you all seem to be settling in. How about you? Have you met any nice neighbors?

I did well enough to get a second interview on the spot....I will know by next Thursday if I am employed by Target.

Today is our anniversary....we just got back form our traditional dinner out. We always go back to the French restaurant (Chez Collette) that we had our wedding reception at. They were very kind to us...they made us a custom dessert that I didn't expect. We had a good time...polished off a great bottle of wine. I am exhausted now!!!

Hope everyone is hanging in there....I think we are all due for some good health & prosperity!!!

Bernadette - I so sorry to hear about your co-worker, as for Lizzy's friend, I would be very nervous about trying to go to Disney at all and make it back to the ship in time, if you're not there on time they will definitely leave without you.

The gym we belong to has just opened up a new location three doors down from where I work, and since I have fallen waaaay off the bandwagon, I've managed to make it back to the gym this week. I do much better if I go before I come home, once I'm home I come up with all kinds of excuses why I can't go.

I have the day off because I'm working tomorrow, I'm headed to the hospital this morning to have some blood work done and then back home to try and get some work done around here.

Tammi - I hope things went well with you too, I guess I was lucky that I was so young when I divorced, we didn't have anything so there was nothing to divide, I had custody and he had visitation rights, he hasn't seen our 28 year old daughter since she was 3. Goes to show what a real loser he really is.
