That's because the mailman secretly hate this task....Bill has stories of fighting with them telling the they had to do it...them threatening union action etc. Great cause...wrong organization to handle it

Yeah I can see where this would be a big pain in the tushy for them.

Tammi,
Glad you have come to an agreement with your ex. :wizard:

Elin,
Thanks for the F&W info..looking forward to that in October!

Robyn,
Kids can be so mean. Hope it gets resolved soon.

We have an issue with a kid in Katie's school making threats. I am the belief that it is not the dean or principal that should be called but rather the police. The kid was going to be sent to the Dean today however if I do not find the result satisfactory, I will call the police to the school.

Anne Marie - does Katie's school have a police officer in it? All of our middle and high schools here have officers. What was the threat?

:rolleyes1 I'm getting there ;)

 He could give me one ;) Sorry he didn't tell you though.

His plan was to keep it a secret, then add $10 or $20 each time he paid off the groceries. The card is on paperless statements, so he figured I would never know. But I DO know. I ALWAYS know.

If you want to BUY a Sony Alpha 100 with 3 lenses, a flash, and a bunch of other stuff I know where you can get one...:rolleyes1

Then there is my mailman, who can't even deliver the mail properly. Let's not distract him with groceries, please!!

Unfortunately no, just some old man in a cart. None of the schools here have armed police. My kids make fun of me, I went to a very rough high school & we had armed police & metal detectors at the door. Kids were stopped every day for gun posession. I guess they do not think we need such security here in the "burbs" however I disagree. Kids can loose it no matter where they are from.

:headache:

There is a rumor being bandied about on the DIS that online ADR arrangements are set to begin on May 11. :confused3 We'll have to see how that goes. IF it goes.

I have to make my adr's on May 10. I am glad I am not in the 1st batch to try out the online version.:scared:

I agree. I thought you would have them, since you are close to the city.

:scared1: That's my day! I don't want to be the guinea pig!

Good morning. :)

Also in keeping with Deb's chicken theme...

Bonjour, DDA!

:thumbsup2

I think hold times have improved a bit. When the flippin' system actually WORKS, that it.

We like Citrico's and Cali Grill better than Jiko. In case you were wondering. ;) Definitely Cali Grill for sushi. Citrico's for other food.

Ditto!

So. Today is pay day. I sat down to do a few bills.
We got DH a Disney Visa because they had a deal where DVC members got $100 gift card with a new account. Great! We have been using it for groceries to get reward $, then paying it off as soon as the transaction posts. Fine.
I told him yesterday to go online and pay it, but he didn't bother. So I logged on to pay it. GUESS WHAT? DH bought ANOTHER FREAKING dSLR CAMERA!!! :scared1:AND he didn't tell me about it. This makes FOUR, YES, FOUR dSLR cameras in his vast collection. Now, it was a good deal and it is compatible with 2 of his others. BUT that is NOT the point. The point is that he did it behind my back and thought he could hide it. Um, no. I caught him.

He still hasn't managed to sell his Sony system, and I REALLY do NOT think he needs 3 different Olympus models. :sad2: Grrrr. Damn money pit.

:scared1::eek:What was he thinking?

So does anyone have big plans for Mother's Day weekend? I think we're headed to Six Flags with the whole family on Sunday. Tomorrow Terra and I are going to see the DisneyNature movie Earth. Other than that, not too much I don't think.

I think we are going to Six Flags too. I'm still watching the weather forecast and our kitty.

:headache:

We have a resource officer, but she plays favorites.
We also have metal detectors. And fairly routine sweeps by drug dogs.

I would tell the principal if they choose not to take the threats seriously that you will report the threats to the proper authorities and let them handle it.

Good luck with your ADRs!! :wizard:

The sun is peeking through :cool1: Hopefully it will stay out as Nick has a lacrosse game tonight. I picked up the kids at school and checked in with Colby's teacher who was absolutely no help :sad2: I asked how he was doing on his goals and she kind of shrugged her shoulders and said that they didn't do independent work today. Same thing she told me last week. Um how about the rest of this week? Frustrating.

Hey Elizabeth you always go in Aug. right? push next year back by 2 months. ;) We are going to get AP's this trip and John wants to go in Oct. next year, that means I finally get to do MNSSHP.
