We saw Baloo & King Louise. Went to Camp Minnie/Mickey and saw safari Goofy, Donald, Mickey & Minnie. Minnie loved the picture of her in Lizzy's book with a zebra and the photopass photographer pulled a zebra pen out of his pocket that was really cute. By the time we were done with that it was raining. We decided not to wait around for the 1pm Lion King show. We got a quick "magic" photo taken (in the rain) with Baby Simba and took the bus to Epcot.

It was raining when we got to Epcot and the bus dropped us off in the middle of the parking lot. We got our photo taken at the entrance-just under the cover of the turn styles.

We saw Chip & Dale-we had to get them to sign Lizzy's book as they aren't in the Character Connection any more. They were under cover where they used to sell Leave a Legacy. We never did see Timon because he wasn't out in the rain at AK. We saw that Dopey was at the exit to the Character Connection so we went to see him.

It was raining but the park was kind of empty:

We soon found everyone at the Land Pavilion:

We got a fast pass for Soarin and then amazingly found a table for 2 and ate our PBJ's. The A/C was on full blast.:confused3 So hard it was blowing our bottle of water around the table. It was FREEZING!!!! We did the living with land boat ride then the Lion King movie thing. Then we went to ride Mission Space. We saw Snow White was out with Dopey so we stopped to see her.

We went back to ride Soarin on our fast pass:

Then did Spaceship Earth on the way out of Epcot:

We took the monorail to TTC. When we went to change to MK monorail we saw a monorail being towed into the station. It must be pretty rare because all the CM's were taking photos with their cell phones.

Here are a couple of photos from our trip that I scanned.

I don't know why the PSB one scanned so weird? It looks great IRL!

Very nice :thumbsup2

Is anyone else getting concerned that Debbie hasn't posted? I hope someone hears from her soon.

We stopped at the Plaza and they could seat us immediately. I realized we could make it to see the fairies before they closed if we ate quickly. I paid the bill and we got Lizzy chocolate chip cookies to go for dessert.

When we got outside it was really pouring and we almost gave up and went home but decided to give it a try. We saw them close the door to the fairy queue shortly after we got there. We only waited about 30 minutes this time and saw 3 fairies-Tink (she was way better than the one we saw Wednesday), Iridessa and Silvermist.

We went to Mickey's house as we had skipped it Wednesday. It was nice because we were about the only ones there and it was only drizzling.

We did the teacups and then went to see the fireworks. There were far fewer people this night! I tried to get a photo of Tink. Next time I know to get a focus on the guide wire before she comes out. OH and a better lens would help too.

The new lifeguard swimsuits apparently arrived as the guards were wearing them tonight. It is an understatement to say that they will not be flattering on me :scared: They are very high cut over the hips and my hips need to be hidden. I told Chris that I need to find some red board shorts before Monday or I will die of embarassment :headache:

We took the boat back to Poly. OK...I've got to say this was really nice to get back to our resort after fireworks in less than 30 minutes. We'd still be waiting for a bus if we were at another resort. We watch our last Electric Water Pageant from the beach.

It had been a long day! I packed up most of our clothes but not all the other stuff.

Not concerned yet. More like anxious. I'm sure she's having good, quality time with her family and new granddaughter.

Bernadette, the castle photos are breathtaking!

Or perhaps the owners are upside down in their loan and NEED to get that much out of it. That is a lot of what's happening out there, when the house prices ballooned out of control, people took out no interest mortgages to pay the ballooned price, and now their interest is coming due and they can't resell/refi. So sad. :sad2:

So wrong that they were allowed to do it in the first place. That is what is wrong with our country. We allow way too much credit and help people get in over their heads. It may seem like good business but see where it got us?

How many of us...
3 of me, 5 of you, 4 of Tammi, 5 of Anne Marie, so 17 confirmed. Not sure about Debbie. Working on Janet. Emma is working on Bernadette. ;)

Wow! One of you is hard enough to keep up with, I don't know if anyone could handle 3 of you! :lmao:

::yes:: So true.

We're home from the Vet. We have a very sick kitty. It turns out that he has hyperthyroidism and his kidneys are only functioning at 50%. He may also have feline leukemia, but we opted not to run the test as they can't treat it anyway. As it turns out the bill was $259 for today and he is 73 years old in cat years. We have a med for the hyperthyroid, actually we have 2 at this point. One is chewable, but much more expensive. The other is a pill, but we will have to force feed him. We are going to try the pill first as $8/mth sounds much better than $30. He also needs to go on prescription cat food for the kidney issues. The cat food is either $1.50 per can or 3.38 per can depending on what he will eat. There is also a couple of kinds of dry food which is $28/bag. They want him to eat as much as possible as he lost a lot of weight. It sounds like it will cost us about $5/day to feed him now. For now we are trying the different foods to see what he will eat. I will need to pick up more on Friday once I know what works. He will also need bloodwork again in 3 weeks. She said he is actually really healthy considering how sick he is :confused3 If he responds as well as she thinks he will he has a great prognosis.

pixiedust: and prayers for kitty and you guys!

Yes, I agree. But I also take issue with people wanting to live high on the hog when they know they don't bring in the money to make the payments. It's not that hard to figure out your debt to income ratio and realize what you CAN'T afford.

And now these same people that aren't making their mortgage payments are looking at foreclosure. So they call up their mortgage company and say I can't make the payments, the mortgage company is revamping their loans to lower the payments and all is well. This happened to a friend of mine. But what do you think will happen if I call my mortgage company and say 'well, even though I've made my payments on time every month, I'd like my interest rate lowered'? They'd choke on laughter. When do I get a piece of that government pie?!?!?!?!

You aren't excited, are you, Debbie? ;)

Tia sounds like you had a good weekend! Hope the house situation is not delayed to much :wizard:

Tammi I was wondering if they still did the paint brushes.

Debbie have a wonderful day :goodvibes

Debbie, Good luck to your daughter! I bet you are so excited to see your new grandbaby!

DS really liked it, even though it was HOT. The air doesn't move on that island. And the caves are dark, as in so dark you can't see your hand in front of your face. I did OK in the first one, but the second one actually made me start to panic - it took longer to get out than I would have liked. :scared:

See comments above. It is interesting to note that I have never been claustrophobic before, but that cave freaked me out.

YAY!!! I hope she has a quick & safe delivery! :wizard:

Tia, I'm sorry about the delay, too. I am sure things will work out!

Bernadette - LOVE your pics! :goodvibes

Tia -- It sounds like there are lots of houses on the market. I hope the one you really like is still available when it's the right time.

Sending prayers for a safe delivery!

Bernadette -- love your pics and TR!

I'm so excited about getting my gray washed out tonight. It's the little things...

Bernadette,
Great pictures. They make me smile.:goodvibes

Tia,
Sorry about the delay. The whole home buying process is so stressful. I have to agree with you, don't fall in love with one house until the contract is signed. You know with the economy the house you like may very well still be on the market in a few months. I hope it all works out & you are happy with the house you decide to call home.:wizard:

Debbie,
Yay!!! Can't wait to see pictures!

Heidi,
Almost time!!!!:yay:

Thanks for all the well wishes,

And now I'd like to introduce

Aubrey Marie,
8lbs 5 oz, 20.5 inches

And a very proud Big Brother,

Mom and baby are doing great.
