Jennifer - There are lots of great ideas out there for Mickey and good supplies too. I think she'll have fun with it.

thanks
Today we were at Michaels and she saw some Tink stuff and decided she wants a tink party

Hi guys! :wizard: and  to all.

I've read but had a wicked day at work and while I could really use a drink I'm not feeling well enough for that so I thought I'd post more of my trip report......

Look what I got today!!!

Thank you Bernadette! Bob used the measuring spoons tonight when he cooked dinner for the second time of his life!

So for a short recap-we flew in on Tuesday stayed up a bit late unpacking. Wednesday we had 8am ADR at CP, did a few rides at MK, swam a the Poly, went to Epcot and back to Poly for EWP at beach. While we were at Epcot I was SO tired! My original plans for Thursday were be at MK for 8am EMH, breakfast at OHana at 10:50, swim, got to another park. I started rethinking that Wednesday night when I was so tired. I was really afraid that if I pushed us to be at MK for 8am opening I would be wiped again at night and I was sure I would get sick. SO my new plan was to sleep in and let Lizzy go swimming in the morning, go to OHana and then go to a park. I made myself stay in bed til at least 7am. Lizzy was all for this plan.

She had the pool all to herself. It was probably only about 60. I was thinking it was 9:30am but it was only 8:30 (did you guys know I can't tell time? ). I sent a picture on my phone to my friends and said Lizzy was young and foolish in the pool and as soon as I hit send a woman came in the pool with Lizzy. She didn't stay long though and Lizzy was all alone for a long while.

Then these guest joined her:

Some other kids joined in and I made her swim in the shallow end for a minute so I could take a few beach photos.

After about an hour in the volcano pool she wanted to check out the quiet pool. This pool has a section that it 7' 8". I didn't know Disney had pools that deep.

Glad it arrived. I'm so embarrassed it was sent so late. I was all caught up in budget stuff when others sent their shower gifts. How cool that Bob cooked! What did he make?

Have you ever OD'd on something you like? Well, after drinking 14 cups of this tea...I have no decided I don't want to drink anymore!! :rotfl2:But thanks so much for being willing to pick it up for me!!! :)

Hey Kristine, do you still want me to pick up tea for you, and if so what kind?

Goodness what kind of tea was this :rotfl:

Chanon cute box ;) Love the gift as well!

Bernadette look forward to more pictures! Garrett & Riley really enjoyed the quiet pool & the volcano pool is there favorite so far for the slide.

Thanks for the well wishes for DH. He was getting into bed as I was coming inthe door so I didn't get to really talk to him. I may sleep on the couch! :scared:
This is not a good time for him to be sick. :sad2: He is supposed to go for a WELL visit on Friday so they can re-run the labs that came back wonky at his work physical. Looks like we will have to reschedule that.

DS has an orthodontist appt. tomorrow after school, but Princess can come with us to that if DH is sick. The we'll have to go straight to ballet, so I will have to plan accordingly!

DS just went through the traders. Between the 2 of us we have 80. DH has a big old bag full but since he is already asleep I told DS not to touch them. I will probably order 50 or so from Darlene. But not until everybody is WELL so I will know how much all these Dr. bills have cut into my pin budget.

Bernadette - Another lovely installment! :thumbsup2

Theresa - Cassidy's boyfriend looks like a nice kid!

Chanon - Straggler boxes are the best! DS got a birthday card from a dear friend today. It even had $13 inside!

Kristine - Sorry you OD'd on your tea. Does that mean you OT'd? :rotfl2:

So as Lizzy had her shower I packed a box for a coworker. He bought me something on his trip in November and then wouldn't take any money for it so I wanted to send him some Mickey Rice Krispy Treats. There was a line at concierge so we went to OHana before mailing the package.

We both took photos of the lobby while waiting to be seated.
DSC_0624.jpg

OHana was really nice. Nice character interaction and the "handler" made sure everyone saw all the characters before they left. Lizzy LOVED the juice-she used to love it when we stayed CL at the Poly. She drank 2 glasses and then didn't feel well and wouldn't eat anything.

After breakfast we went to mail that package. It took forever!!! I don't know what the CM was doing? It took at least 20 minutes. Then I get back to work on the following Thursday and my coworker hadn't received the box-he called me later that day to say it was delivered. I was mad at the Poly-they charged me a $5 service fee on top of the shipping and I figured they had sat on the package before mailing it out. I found my tracking slip at home and did the tracking on line and Fed Ex picked it up the day I mailed it. I don't know why it took 7 days to deliver it. UPS would have had it there by Tuesday for sure. I don't think I'll be doing that again. It took way too long to mail that thing but my coworker did a kick out of it. Disney time is just too precious.

So on the way back to the room we saw this egret and a CM says-wait-watch him he's stalking something and we saw him catch a lizard.
DSC_0652.jpg

We went back to the room to drop off the picture I bought and as soon as we walk in the door Lizzy wants a snack.:headache: I'm glad I didn't book too many meals with her. I decided to change into jeans as it wasn't that hot and I put a pair of jeans for Lizzy into my backpack. We walk over to the TTC for the Epcot monorail. The Poly grounds really are beautiful.
DSC_0611.jpg

When we got to TTC there was a monorail in the station with folks in it but they weren't letting anyone else in. It was just sitting there. After a long while it slowly pulled up but not quite all the way and stops. They had to back into the station and unload all the folks. Then a new monorail came and loaded those folks first from one side and then all of us waiting.

When we got to Epcot as we were walking down the ramp someone came up to us and handed me 2 fast passes for Test Track.:cool1: We got our photo taken at the entrance. The photographer was great-she took a shot of Lizzy "holding" Spaceship Earth. We went to ride Test Track as I was afraid it would close if it started to rain and who wants to ride that in the rain.

Then we did Mission Space (green).

This has been a whirlwind night. We went to the Mountain and I had promised Colby that he could go to the top of the Mountain twice. Chris and I decided the experience would be way more productive then his lesson so I pulled him from lessons and off to the top we went. The first run was not good. He fell alot, but he didn't get discouraged. He got to the bottom and wanted to get right back on the lift. Up we went again only this time he totally got it. He did an amazing job going down and went from falling 50 times to less than 10. We got to the bottom and SIL told him that she thought he was Hunter coming down. Man that made his day. He needed a potty break so DB asked me to take Logan up once. So off we went for his first trip to the top. He was just as nervous as Colby was on Sunday. He did a great job of staying upright though I'm not sure I'd call it snowboarding. He counted and he only fell 11 times so he counted it as a huge success. He now has that under his belt and this was his last time out this year. So all in all Snowboarding was a success this year and Chris and I decided that we need to get the boys to a Mountain at least one more time this year. Colby just getting it tonight needs to be reinforced if we have any hope in him retaining it until next year.

At home Colby had an unfortunate incident with the back of chair which resulted in him injuring 2 of his teeth. The teeth don't seem to be loose, but they are baby teeth so he will be losing them soon anyway. he does have a bit of injury to the gums above, but hopefully he won't have pain tomorrow. I numbed the area and we got him to sleep.

Chris and I are both hobbling through the house as all this exercise is causing some sore legs. My inner thighs are killing me. Of course all the snowplowing that I did on the mountain tonight added to it. Chris says that if the exercise doesn't make us look better it is likely to kill us :lmao: My intent is to swim before work in the morning, but if I'm too sore I will probably hold off a day.

Then we went over to the World Showcase. I had bought a cute little stuffed Mushu at the Disney Store at home that we brought for a world tour.

We saw Cabellero Donald in Mexico-he loved his picture in Lizzy's autograph book.

By now it was about 6:30 and it was POURING! We weren't up for hanging around for Illuminations so we took the boat to BW and took the bus to DTD. There was a bus as right there as we got to the bus stop so that worked out well. Joe wanted a ruler so I wanted to see if they had any at the World of Disney. I have bought them there in the past but they didn't have any. We went to the Pooh store and we were both soaking wet so we went back to the Poly. Thankfully we didn't have to wait long for a bus.

I think the rain let up a bit so we watch the EWP from the beach. An exhausting day.....
