Stephanie, I was thinking the exact same thoughts as you last year when I planned my first August trip to Florida. It was warm, but no where near unbearable. I was pleasantly surprised. On the other hand, when we were there in October of 2006, that's when I had the 'rivers of sweat running down my back'!

So glad to see Stephanie and Anne Marie have their trips booked!!

Stephanie you will work with the heat, after all its Disney.

Stephanie the ice cubes really do work I learned the hard way in August to be careful of where you place the ice though. At one point I looked like I was leaking milk

DS has type B influenza.
The Dr. said since this is basically the 3rd day DS has felt bad that he will probably feel OK tomorrow. We'll see. If he still feels bad in the morning I will keep him home one more day.

Oh no, I hope he feels better soon.

Bernadette - I have no idea what his fascination with the hat is.
He is pestering me to let him buy Photoshop or some other software. I wouldn't care, but it will suck up all the memory on my desktop. One of the girls on the breast cancer thread just came back and she has been posting her pics on the Photo forum. He wants pics the same quality as hers, and he is sure that software is the only thing standing in his way - if he had it his pics would be perfect.

UGH. Em's best friend has lice. Em hasn't seen her since last Thursday at scouts but I can guarantee that they were as close as they can be to one another. The school nurse discovered it today but they're not sure how long she has had it. Hopefully, Em's hair is curly enough to have kept it at bay.

And now my head itches.

YAY!!!!

I was able to get a concierge studio for 2 more nights!! Now we will be checking into our concierge studio on my birthday! Yippee!

And modifying our remaining 4 nights down to standard view would have screwed up our points so I just left them alone.

Now we have a savannah studio Aug. 1-5, and a concierge Aug. 5-15. Great! Now IPO will have to do 10 nights of ADRs for me! I will only have to do 2 nights of ADRs, because the other 2 nights we will eat at US/IOA. I have no clue what we will eat over there. Maybe just CS.

Definitely eat at Margaritaville. We ate there in November and it was so good.

Good morning DDA--itw as not a great night here in my firefighter family. There was another big fire and multiple guys were taken to the hospital. One is, as the newspapers quote it, fighting for his life. We do not know anything right now and it is so scary..But ill be headed off to work soon and will hopefully find an update

hope everything is okay. My DH is a volunteer firefighter.

We actually have decided to go to Margaritaville on Monday for dinner and Mythos Tuesday for lunch or dinner (depends on when they are open).

I don't think I introduced myself. I'm Elizabeth, 38, married to oogieboogieman (but he only posts on the Photo forum). We have 1 DS who just turned 13. I am a professional nanny and take care of Princess, age 3.
