Sounds like a big meet will be happening in August! The 4/3 deal is so hard to resist, but I still am not sure if we can swing it. But you will all know as soon as I do :lmao:

Tammi, Anne Marie and I are confirmed. Robyn and Debbie are pending. Want to pend with them? ;) I am trying to convince Bernadette to pend, too!

Stephanie the ice cubes really do work :thumbsup2 I learned the hard way in August to be careful of where you place the ice though. At one point I looked like I was leaking milk :rolleyes1 :lmao:

Janet - Yay for pending! :yay:

Stephanie - This is our 4th year to go in August. I have yet to resort to dropping ice down my bra. I do like to hold ice in my hand, and then I can put my icy palm against the back of my neck. I usually grab a piece of ice every time we walk past those carts that sell the "misty fan" things.

here....for all you August travelers...just promise to take a group photo

Bernadette - Oh, I see about the tickets! :thumbsup2 No, the tickets we had were regular price as part of the free dining package.
DH wants to take pics of the stupid hat. He took a bunch last year, but apparently he wants to take MORE. So whatever.
So that hat just doesn't do it for me. How many nights does it take to take photos of that? I would much rather take night time photos of all the countries in Epcot or Spaceship Earth or the Imagination fountain or the fountain in front of Spaceship Earth, of EE in AK, of the castle or BTMRR or the riverboat in MK.

My mom had a doctor appointment today, the are finally going to fix her hernia. Took em long enough.
Will they be able to do it authroscopically(spelling????)-you know with a little incision or do they have to cut her open?

DS has type B influenza. :sad2:
The Dr. said since this is basically the 3rd day DS has felt bad that he will probably feel OK tomorrow. We'll see. If he still feels bad in the morning I will keep him home one more day.
Poor kid! Terry just emailed me today that Halley had the flu. She came down with it last Tuesday and Lizzy & Halley had shared a bed on Saturday. I'm hoping the little virus Lizzy had earlier in the month may have given her a bit of imunity.

I'm off to the Dr myself, just a routine checkup, I've been doing so well with my asthma that we are going to try to cut back on my meds some.
:wizard: Hope that works out well!

:rotfl: WELL..........DH is in charge of planning the family vacation and he hasn't done a thing. We would need passports if we're going to Canada. I'm thinking a trip to WDW would be quick & easy to plan if need be but we'll probably end up in North Conway, NH if he doesn't do the passports.

I went to August 4 times too and my brain was too melted to remember to put ice in my bra.:lmao:

Acutally I think the heat in Ocotober can be harder to take and except for AK the other parks all have LOTS of attractions that get you out of the heat-especially Epcot.

:rotfl2: TOO funny!!!! I see it is European!

I think that might work

Would you all still be willing to have dinner with me if I wore this :rotfl2: :lmao:

Becky - I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that your grandma is doing okay. :grouphug:

Jen - Please keep us posted on the firefighters. They are all in our prayers.

Jennifer - There are lots of great ideas out there for Mickey and good supplies too. I think she'll have fun with it.

Deb -Way to go on the workout. It sounds like you are doing great. Just keep plucking away at it and you'll get to where you want to be quickly.

Robyn - So sorry to hear of your loss as well. I'm sure they were happy to be together again. :grouphug:

Heidi - Glad the doctors are finally going to do something. I hope it's a quick, easy procedure.

Stephanie - Sounds like some good plans for your trip! Any which way, you know you'll have a great time.

Elizabeth - I hope the doctor is right and DS is doing better tomorrow. :wizard: I'd love to be "pending" with you guys in August as well, but I just don't think something that soon is in the cards for us. Some day we'll make it there in chorus with a bunch of others.

I just found out that my Uncle Buck died this morning. :sad1: He was 97 years old. His wife, my Aunt Elsie is the one who died last year the day after her 95th birthday. His body had been failing rapidly as of late although his mind was still sharp as a tack so I hope he has found some peace.

Well, yesterday's day off ended up busy as usual. We did a lot of running around with dance, the library, getting car seats set for our field trip, the field trip itself, Kassie's dance and picking up Phil. We did manage a nice picnic at the park though. Too bad it was so windy! The weather was beautiful, but the wind was incredible. It almost blew over my 95% full 44oz soda. :upsidedow It took lots of brushing to get all of those tangles out afterward. The best part was that Terra went on the big big slides. She has spent the last 2 years refusing to get near them. About a month or so ago she started talking about how she was going to go down them as soon as we could go to the park again. Her lunch was no sooner inhaled, then she was running up the stairs to the first one. She did it twice and then went up another 15 feet to the second one. She was SOO proud of herself it was so cute! :cloud9:

I'm even more excited to see if the same things happens with swimming. Just like with the slide, she's suddenly started talking about how she's going to go under water and jump in the pool when we can go swimming again. Since this time she went straight to the slides and never looked back I'm wondering if she'll do the same thing with swimming. It is exactly how she is with so many things and has been since she was a baby, so I wouldn't be suprised in the least. I'm highly considering a trip to the indoor pool this weekend or next to see how it goes especially since she's been asking to go there soon.

Kristine - What one earth did you Google to get that monstrosity to come up? :rotfl2:

Janet - I will have dinner with you, but you will have to sit at the other end of the table. If you sat across from me I would be laughing so hard I wouldn't be able to swallow my food. ;)

Would you be wearing anything else?

:woohoo: Way to go Terra!!!!:woohoo:

Emma is like that too. Emma has been talking about how she might like Expedition Everest on our next trip-she tried it last May and hated it.

I suggested that we could now try the water slides and Six Flags this year. She hesistated for a minute and then got really excited and thought it sounded great. I'm really hoping she'll be up for some coasters by our next trip! She's probably got at least 10 months to a year before then so maybe. We'll start some early tests on a few Six Flags trips this summer.

Well, Rachel needs to do homework so I'd better get going. Catch you all a little later.
