I came across color your own valentine's cards in walmart. Alyssa originally wanted Camp Rock ones, but then I knew my little artist would love these so I got them. I was right! There are 28 to a box and have a saying and an outlined picture. It comes with crayons and lollipops to attach to the card. She was in heaven!

Those sound so cute! I bet her friends will love them, too!

We found HSM 3 cards for Mary, Princess cards for Leslie, and Pokemon cards for Jacob, all for 1.69 a box for 32. I get bags of candy from the dollar store and we're all set. I'm letting Katie do the more extravagant ones, simply because this is her last year in elementary school, and I know she won't be doing valentine's on this scale any more.

By the way, Katie has her first school dance on Friday. She's really excited, but quite nervous. She's taller than most of the boys her age, and it bothers the boys to dance with her. Luckily, they are required to ask the girls to dance, so she should have fun. She's also doing a Swing dance exhibition with some friends. We'll take some pictures so y'all can see.

There is a dance on Friday but when I told DS he would have to dress up he didn't want to discuss it anymore! I just got an e-mail saying photo packages will be available for $5 - $45 at the dance so I should send money. Hmm. No, thanks! DS has never been ot a school dance. I think he might want to start with something less froo-froo than the Valentine's one!

Deb - I got sucked into that train wreck of an interview too, but fell asleep during one of the commercial breaks. I think they need to track down the doctor who did her invitro and make him be the one to pay for all her kids' assistance instead of burdening the tax payers with it. She has got to be a bit loony.

I totally agree with this! I couldn't watch the interview. The whole thing just makes me livid! I have visions of the children being neglected because it's more work than she thinks. I can't imagine any reputable doctor implanting more than 6. Even that is a bit much! When I was going through the infertility treatments for the first time, I had 10 eggs release (I was doing super ovulation), and the doctor absolutely refused to let me continue with the fertilization. He told us that the chances of all of them fertilizing was minimal, but even so, he wasn't going to take the risk. I couldn't imagine even wanting all those embryos implanted, knowing the risks. It seems to me that she wants corporations to come out of the woodwork to give her a house, car, education, etc. Maybe she's been watching Jon and Kate Plus 8 a little too much!

Oh! I am all about that show! What a bunch of fluff! I usually just watch the last 10 minutes, because they recap everything that happened inthe first 50 and then I see who goes home! But I missed it! So who went home?

They have those at Target! I have to go to Target as soon as DH gets here to stay with DS! What a coincidence!

But here it is 11:40 am and I've only managed one load of laundry and an early lunch. I haven't even hit the gym. I need the motivation to do so, but when I got on the scale this morning I had GAINED a pound. I totally couldn't believe it as I've carefully eaten all my points and exercised. It make no sense.

Give yourself a break as far as the gym during this time. I know I can't work out when I am hurting. Also weight gain is most likely due to TOM, not anything you did wrong.

Man, the state of Missouri is fast. I sent in our tax returns last week, going in the mail on Wednesday. Yesterday, I already had my $4 check. Yup, all $4 that we got back from the state. Mom figures they weren't worried about the interest they could get by delaying on that huge amount.

Well don't you go spending it all in one place you hear!

My plan is to shower and get the boys stuff out for snowboarding then hopefully I can run to the gym and still beat the boys home. I need to do this and get out of today's funk. I am not sick and I cannot allow myself to create excuses.

I am seriously thinking of trying to get a BLT ressie for 2 of our nights in August. If we arrive Sunday instead of Saturday, and stay Sun and Mon at BLT MK view, then switch over to BCV for the remainder, I'll save myself 16 points. But I'll be cutting my trip by one day. Also, I wouldn't tell anyone. They'd find out when we line up at ME for the bus. What to do, what to do.

I say go for it! Can you maybe fly in early Sunday to make up for the lost day?
