We just spent the last couple hours hearing cruise stories from my family--sounds like they had a good time at least! They brought me a couple of shirts and a pair of earrings! Its so nice when they go away

It didn't take long to catch up tonight. It was all football talk

Work was another train wreck, at least we weren't busy so not many people had to live it. It can only get better from here...It can only get better from here... how many times to I need to say it before I start to believe it?

At least it is over and I'm not scheduled for tomorrow night I think I'll start prepping my bathroom. I need to get the wallpaper border down and kilz the ceiling stain. There is a bit of patching to do too as some of the nails are backing out and one corner has a little crack. It won't be bad at all though compared to the big projects of last year

I'm so glad they're home safely. I'm sure it's nice to have them back home!

I think im headed to bed--im so tired and cannot believe the weekend is over---i cannot remember thel ast time a weekend flew by this fast! Mondays typically go quick at least--and then i haev a faculty meeting after school..ugh!

HOPEFULLY ill hear from my friend thats deployed tomorrow--mondays are usually good for emails (or ill keep tellign myself that )

Who knows, I guess we will have to wait and see.

Tom,,,your creations are just too, too cute. I loved to sew when Guenna was little but we were not into Disney then just Barbie.

Deb, Robyn and anyone else doing lots of things today, I am exhausted reading what you posted.

There was so much more that I read but cannot remember.

we met with some of Hal's cousins tonight. Hal's Uncle Walt passed away last week and the funeral is tomorrow. He cannot get off tomorrow, but we got together tonight with some of the cousins and Walt's wife. Uncle Walt was the second oldest of seven kids. Oma is now the last one of seven living on her side. Walt was 90yrs old. Oma is 84.

Walt lived a full life as a minister and the stories we heard tonight were great. This family has a lot of great history.

Opa is the oldest of seven and all of them are still living. Lots of longevity going on here.



I really hate the winter but I would love to see one really big snow storm and then be done with it. I so want spring to come so I can be counting down fewer days till our cruise in December.







I promise to post a trip report this time, I am just starting to write something up this week. I will post pictures, I promise. I did change my picture on my facebook with a picture of me being kissed by a Dolphin. I will remember that for as long as I live. I could not look any happier except on my wedding day.

Elizabeth, you would be so proud of my DGD. She goes to ski on Friday. She packed her bag today.

Looks like I've set my dates for F&W. I'll be there October 1-6th. So Elin, I'll be crashing your party again!!!

DH and I were just talking about that last night. I need to decide if I want to babysit on Saturday night. If I do, that will be 3 Saturday nights in a row that I am not home, and Christmas will likely stay up until after Valentine's Day. We need to get everything put away, so I will probably turn down Saturday and stay home to work on it.

I need a nap. But I have to take DS and Princess to school first. I wonder what sorts of presents Princess got from her party? There were at least 12 kids there, so she has at least 12 new things. Plus her orange cat in the Tinkerbell costume that she made at BAB.
There is a limited edition zebra that I am very tempted to go back for. I told DH we can name him Kidani. But we technically own in Jambo, so perhaps we should name him Jambo.

A word about those stick-on toilet gel things:
They aren't as fun to stick on as they look in the commercial. And the citrus ones have an INCREDIBLY strong scent. We'll see if the scent dissipates over the next couple of days, but right now it is almost overpowering.
