DDA Chapter 17

Cool!

Well personally, I always preferred the test tube variety :thumbsup2

I actually had read that when we signed up.

So how do you get the jello out. With the little cups you can squeeze or use your tongue, the syringes can be pushed up, but the test tubes must stick? I've had shots in test tubes, but not jello shots?

This guy makes me think of Deb, trying not to get hives.

Change the brown hat to blue and you are pretty close :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I have high hopes of getting a lot accomplished today. I am starting with the boys rooms. Hopefully a quick dust and vacuum will do it, but I haven't ventured in to test my theory yet.

Morning DDA!

Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers for us - the funeral is Thursday; looks like we are driving up Wednesday night to Detroit. Of course I have no long sleeve black shirts and I can't find my black sweater. I might have to make a run to Kohls.

I'll have to find a picture of the 2008 jello shots from Universal during Halloween Horror Nights...those were in blood bags I think... :rotfl:

Timothy is just adorable Glynis!

Why is it that school get's cancelled but not work?! Off to go get ready!

Thanks, Chanon. I hope you and Bob have a safe trip to Detroit. Give him a hug from all of us.

Take them when they are just starting to solidify, and tap the bottom! :thumbsup2

Or so I've heard :rolleyes1 ;)

Elizabeth get that latch hook in the mail. ;) I am almost finished with mine, and I started it Sat.

I would have to dig it out before I could send it. Do you know how to finish off the edges? I can do the hook part OK, but I have never done the edges before. Not sure what you are supposed to do. :confused3

We're off to swimming. Nothing like swimming in an ice storm. :rolleyes2

Wonderful pictures Glynis, thanks for sharing. :)

Thanks, Heidi, and everyone else, for your kind comments. We think Timothy is pretty amazing, and I'm just glad I can share him with y'all.

Probably subconsciously you knew you would have another, but with Timothy you definitely know he is your last.

That's what Alan says, too. At least he doesn't tell me to get over myself and quit blubbering. He knows better than that!

Well, the older kids are off to school, so I'd better get moving. I've got to get myself showered and ready for the day, then I get to bathe Timothy and take him to the doctor. Today is his 2 month check up. He'll get his first round of shots this morning. I'm just hoping he's like his siblings who never had any reactions to any of the shots they were given. I'm just dreading that look in his eyes when they jab him. I hate the guilt!

After that, we're off to the grocery store for food, and then Target for more diapers. He's really going through them at an alarming rate! Guess we didn't need to worry about his kidneys!

I'll check back in later, but until then, I hope you all have wonderful (even if they are icy) days!

We have a cold day today, but no snow yet. It is predicted to start after midnight with accumulations of 5 - 10 inches. The school called to ask me to sub tomorrow afternoon, but said they don't expect to have school anyway. :confused3 If school is cancelled then snowboarding will be cancelled too.

I've shoveled my driveway and the kids are having a fun time playing in the snow. They don't get to do that often. Nicholas and a neighbor are attempting to build a fort, with one of those plastic brick molder things. I'm afraid there isn't going to be enough snow to make an entire fort. :rotfl2:

Tammi - I hope the kids continue to have enough snow to play in.

My boss just called and she is closing the school. I have the day off too!! :yay:

maybe just a wall, then??

It is bitterly cold here. You all have the storm we had yesterday but we didn't get much of snow/ice here. Just enough to be irritating.

Glynis-Cassidy has outfitted Flat Stanley for Spirit Week at the High School...she is only taking him today though. The band is performing for local 1st graders (3 concerts in total).
