I made reservations Nov. 18 - 23 at AKV concierge...and then the 23-28 at BWV. I was worried with the new booking rules that I would have an issue...but I got them without any hassle!

That would be awesome. My kids really enjoy Hershey. They like the amusement park and the tour of the Hershey Factory. That's a ride in itself, kind of like the TTA.

I would love to go to Hershey. We'll have to add that to our trip to Vermont. My girls were there when they were little. My sister lived in PA a short distance away. The girls went on a trip with my mom and dad through Canada, to Niagara Falls, down to PA to visit my sister, and they even stopped in Friendsville at the Museum for my grandmother's family.

My great-great grandfather or great-great-great grandfather was one of the founders of the town and there is a geneology museum there. When dad walked in, the curator said "I've seen those eyes before". My dad has gorgeous blue eyes and I guess it is a trait in my grandmother's side of the family. Mom provided more info for them as they didn't have much from my grandma's immediate family.

I probably should go down and get the mail. I've been avoiding it all day. I guess now would be the time to go down. I'll be able to come back and get cozy in my bed.

Heidi could you possibly give me the names for any campgrounds near you. There is one about a mile from the raceway and it is already fully booked so that is not an option. We could stay right inside the raceway, but there is no electric, water or sewer and the prices are high. I'd rather stay at a private campground even if it is a bit further away from the racetrack.

Does that mean we are nailing down a date? We will definitely be at the Aug 2nd race in the Poconos. That means we could either do Hershey the week before or the week after depending on what works best for everyone.

I have to check to see when our team camping week-end is next summer. It is a week-end in August. We had a date set and then thought we might need to move it. My old boss (now coworker) Jim can't make it that week-end and one of the guys on the team doesn't have his kids that week-end.

I'm thinking the week before will probably be the best for us but I'll have to get back with you on that.

all the men of the house have been afflicted with an illness...it's called annoythecrapoutofKristine disease.

I am searching for a cure.....so far, NOTHING.

DS and DH have a variation of that disease called driveElizabethupthewall. The only cure I know of is for them to go away, but DH is off and school is out so I will have to let it run it's course.

I just put cream on my hands...then I put white gloves on.....the 3 of them asked.....whaaat is that for? mocking me....I told them it was so there would be no fingerprints visible on their necks tonight
