DDA Chapter 13

Here is a question for you travel experts: Is it a "bad" thing to book one way airline tickets on two different airlines? I am finding good fares on 12/24 on one airline and good fares on another airline for 12/27. I would hate for Kathrin to have bad luck with the trip if I did that, though!

I need to make cheap dinners this week

I've done it before and have never had a problem with it. When I worked our company did that a lot, they always sent us the most inexpensive way they could.

More Lucyese for you!!

are people that superstitious over the number 13?? I must be an oddball... I just don't see it....any more that the whole black cat, ladder, cracked mirror, spill salt, rabbit foot etc etc etc

Here's one for you...I turned 13, on Friday the 13th....who knew I'd make it another 27 years

I'm also not superstitious over it but there are others where it does bother them so I'm happy to help us along. However, I really am a strong believer in if you are superstitious that you don't bypass it by just "skipping" it.

Becky was born on the 13th and also celebrated her 13th birthday on Friday the 13th. She LOVES the number 13. I told her I was the one that was jinxed having a child that turned 13 on Friday the 13th. It didn't affect her at all.

It's kind of scary to me to think that she shares that with you though!!! :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I am making easy meals this week, and they are coincidentally inexpensive because they are homemade, Stephanie. Spaghetti sauce, chicken & noodles, vegetable beef soup and chili. They are all in the crock pot too!

I would have to think long and hard about this. I have never liked a TV show well enough to remember it, I guess! :lmao:

I am having trouble choosing between Scarecrow & Mrs. King and The Pretender. Those are the two shows that I hated to miss each week. They are both ones that I am hoping to get the DVD collections someday.

we almost always do it that way

If you get a good price,,,,go for it :goodvibes

I am having trouble with all time favorite TV show too.

Mash because of the final episode. Dallas because of the suspense, glitz, and glamor. Lost because of the unbelievable story plot but I am hooked.

I am afraid of the number 13. Not for any particular reason, either. :confused3 I do toss salt over my shoulder if I spill it - it blinds the evil spirits, you know. Amanda was a black cat and that was fine. It would make me mad to break a mirror but I don't believe it causes 7 years of bad luck. I routinely threw chain letters in the trash when I was younger. There is just something scary about 13.
Uncle1's birthday is the 13th and he loves it.

It may flag her for extra security screening, but that's about it. If she is using ME make sure you designate all that info on the ressie.

Hal and I went to our Nephew's 30th birthday party last night. He is a Penn State grad so the party was themed around Penn State and Joe Paterno.

Hal and I dressed up as Joe Pa and so did Hal's brother Bob. I didnt have a tie but did have a blue jacket on earlier.

So Mike dressed up as Todd Blackledge who now does commentary on college football.
