I'm all ready for the debate. I better hear something good that makes my decision a lot easier. I'm so on the fence, as I'm sure many Americans are. I really don't want to hear "I'll do this" and "I'll do that". I wish they would realize that THEY can't do anything without the congress backing them. I would rather hear "my plan would be....".

I asked Tia to check on a few items for me at WDW, and when I called her back today, I accidentally got her in trouble, because they were at Whispering Canyon for dinner. I could hear the waiter hollering at her for being on her cell. I'm sorry Tia!!!

That's still pretty funny!

I'm all ready for the debate. I better hear something good that makes my decision a lot easier. I'm so on the fence, as I'm sure many Americans are. I really don't want to hear "I'll do this" and "I'll do that". I wish they would realize that THEY can't do anything without the congress backing them. I would rather hear "my plan would be....".

It's like kids running for Student Council who make all these pie-in-the-sky promises that they have no authority to enact. Diva was talking about establishing all sorts of "cool" Homecoming traditions but the other kids don't want to listen to her. She still perceives herself as being much better than those kids because she came from a very affluent suburb of Dallas. I am sure she comes across as a pompous snob. The other kids don't want to listen to her because she is always so busy telling them how much better it was where she USED to live. She blames it on them being unsophisticated bumpkins, but I bet the truth is that they have no use for ideas from an outsider.
The president of the US, on the whole, doesn't have much power by himself. Telling the House & Senate how much better things are at his old school is going to make them angry and rebellious. Same scenario. Everybody has their own agenda to push and in the end nothing ever changes because nobody ever agrees on anything!

I was getting cat food and saw this hat and collar. It is so cute!!!!

The wall in the background is the new color of my kitchen/dining room. After 5 or more coats, Hal finished, walked out of the kitchen, muttering under his breah, "I will never ever paint red again". I think there were a few more choice words that I cannot repeat here.

Can I say how amazing the DDA is? My sister called the dr. this afternoon and while she didn't speak to the dr the nurse and the physician's aide read her lab reports and they are sure that things are A-OK with Baby Buzz, that's what my niece, Emma and Mo call him! They told her that the dr will go over everything in detail at her next appointment felt confident enough that every thing is fine.

Chanon just called and she checked the numbers for me and couldn't get us a better deal. I was thinking it was a special deal that only Travelocity could offer or I would have called her in the first place. Duhhh. My bad. I need to go to work now. We will have to iron out airfare etc over the next couple of days. For now we are happily booked on the Oct 20th cruise.

So far it's been a "he said" and "he said". I don't really want to hear school yard bickering - I want to know HOW they plan on changing and fixing things.

So my cat was cuddling with me today. She got spooked for some reason and now I have a lovely 5 inch scratch on my neck. Just in time! Anyone have any other suggestions besides bactine and ointment?
